I checked the stats of Keith Thurman and what surprises me is that aside from his last fight last January 26, 2019 and he won against Josesito Lopez through Majority Decision, his last fight before that was March 04, 2017 and he won via split decision. That means he was away for 1 year, 10 months and 23 days, he may have won on his last fight and yet odds still favor him, compared to Manny who didnt miss a year fighting regardless of the outcome if its win or lose.

I think the confidence of Thurman let the people think that Thurman has the upper hand, he is the underdog but I don't think the odds should be against Manny Pacquiao. 9 days before the fight, I think there is a chance that it will still change. Considering the fact that he's out for that long, it may be great to rest but in Boxing, that can ruin your career.
Most people don't know anything yet about their choice since most of them are betting according to the odds but when they know what was the real standing of each fighter i'm sure they will gladly change their choices. Pacman may be the underdog but i still have a doubt if Thurman would make money touch the ground as he was talking.

Not me as i already placed my bet and it's on Manny Pacquiao though i regret not betting early as the odds is getting smaller for Manny.

Manny is planning to dispose of Thurman quickly because he is flying back to the Philippines after the fight to attend the State Of The Nation address of the President  Grin.

KEITH THURMAN's shocking statement again "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to destroy legends and I can create history," Thurman was quoted as saying on ABS-CBN on Wednesday (10/7). quoted from ABS-CBN (Wednesday 10/7).

Such a statement should not be shown because he is a professional boxer, because the actual proof is in the ring.

No that statement only proves him a trash talker and doing everything to destroy Pacquiao using words, from this he may cause Manny some eagerness against him
And besides most boxer do the same thing, though some don’t talk to media but trash talk in the ring while performing fight

Mayweather does the same attitude but not as badmouth like Thurman who seems to be afraid on losing that’s why continuously throwing words before the fight happens

That's how they hype up the fight. At least he has mic skills  Grin
If you heard how Muhamad Ali trash talk his opponents, Keith Thurmans trash talk is just 3 from a scale of 1 to 10. Look at Mike Tyson, his mic skills is not that good but his promoter Don King speaks for him, however, Mike Tyson doesn't need mic skills, his hands make the talking. Manny Pacquiao is a gentleman on the mic, never heard him trash talk anyone.

And also  Mike Tyson don’t need mic to make feels his opponent the power because he can Bite Their Ears to bring the impact just like what he did to Holyfield in their bought 😂😂😂

But we knew Manny Pacquiao is the man not of talking skills but by action,so basically this fight will end harder than his other fight because Thurman doesn’t fit his power

No one can stop him from selling the fight, don't believe that what he said is he actually meant it, you know boxers are also businessman, they love to sell as when they have more views, they will have more money.

This is a once in a life time since pacman is very popular and he can attract a lot of fans, so let's not make it complicated, it's for the money, period.

Manny is a living legend but I always worry about fighters as they get older. He needs to know when to walk away, I don’t know why he doesn’t retire. He really should think about retiring if he beats Thurman which I believe he will.

What's the reason of retiring if you can still beat a young guy, I don't see that happening, if he in case win in this fight, I'm sure he will challenge a better fighter in his next fight. Man, Manny is on a mission, he wants to prove something that even at age 40 he can still fight, that's coming from him in one of his interviews I've seen, and also consider the money he will still make if he continues to fight.

Glad you took your time yp check on Thurman previous fight cause some people seems to be blind by Pacman experience, capacity and the statement made by Freddie which is just a hype for the fans and also to boost Pacman moral. Mind you, he predicted Manny fight against Mayweather but his prediction was not correct.

Considering the fact that he's out for that long, it may be great to rest but in Boxing, that can ruin your career.
Although, the confidence of Thurman has nothing to do with it but if he doesn't believe in himself who else will believe him?
Mind you, some underdog shouldn't be ignore or count as unworthy opponent and I believe you should learn that through Joshua fight against Ruiz.

A fighter is only good as his last fight. So if we are going to based on Manny last fight against Broner, he still has the skills and the passion to fight. I think he is more determined to really shut down Thurman on July 20. I don't like to say that Manny is taking this personally, but it looks like that way to me.

Manny has fought a lot of fighters who is really a big mouth, but I have a feeling that Thurman is really getting into his nerves and so he will let his hands do the talking.

As for the retirement, nobody can tell a fighter it's time to hang up the gloves, it's disrespectful, they love the sports that they are willing to give everything until they feel that they don't have it anymore.

I don't think that he will retire if Pacman wins this fight against Thurman. The ultimate goal of Manny for now is to have that rematch against Mayweather and i think if he get that fight he will retire, win or lose. The money generated by that fight then would be somehow enough for his political plans that may include running for vice president of PH.

Pacquiao knows that Thurman needs to talk trash, it's all part of the pre-fight build up.

With that said, even though I think Pacman will win, I don't think he has too many years left in the tank, he will probably retire after his next fight or two, hopefully he can challenge for some more titles before he goes though.

No one can definitely tell a fighter to call it quit for they usually know that themselves through their healthy and an example is Oscar De La Hoya which hang up his gloves when he knew he can't pull the trigger anymore. However,  Mayweather is still older than him though and Manny is to face Amir after Thurman fight.

I think that is the Pacman's main goal to have a rematch against Floyd and then after that hang and retire his gloves. I don't like him facing Amir Khan, he can't get nothing out of fighting him because Khan is already a wash up fighter.

So in case Manny wins case, I think he will go after Floyd here. That is the fight we all have been waiting for and the money in the table will be huge. Yes, he doesn't have much time left so he really needs to squeeze one final money fight and that is against Floyd Mayweather.
At the age of 40, i think one more fight after this is enough for Manny. He should hang his gloves for good and enjoy the good life that he had now. Mayweather vs Pacquiao should be the fitting finale of Manny's boxing history. TBE and lots of money at stake in here.

I disagree, because he could lose against Mayweather (he would be the underdog) and a legend like him can't stop his career on a loss.
