It will still be Pacquiao for sure. Thurman owns a few rounds, I think that is rounds 5-9 or 5-8. Without the knockout, that would be Thurman's round so let's say he won the first round but 2nd and the following rounds favors Pacquiao. And then there is the liver punch. If there will be no knockdown in round 1, there would still be one in the next rounds since if Thurman would never be aware of that punch, he will never change his tactic.

Early 2000, we use to bet which round his contender will be knocked out, Manny's hand is indeed weary hands by now that it ended 12 rounds. No, both Mayweather and Manny have to prove something else : they have to prove they're great fighters.
And the soul of a fighter is to fight, not just to "prove" or show his strength. If there is a big challenge they have to be up for it.

Bell ring! Round 1 start! Almost everybody thinks that Thurman's controls the fight at the early minutes since he was able to land more punches at Pacquaio. He shows aggressiveness and even cornered Pacquaio on the rope until.............. Pacquaio made some impressive counter and push forward to give Thurman a body blow plus a quick straight punch to the face which the latter didn't expect that results to a Knockout. The reason why Pacquaio got Round 1 even Thurman leads the numbers at that round.

Damn! 40 years old still like we are watching still in his prime. Even commentators repeatedly saying that at Pacquiao's age, he still has that "POWER" and "QUICKNESS".

An aged boxing legend that almost closed to retirement but still can manage to pulverized an undefeated boxing champion on their prime. Just imagine this prime Thurman will face the prime Pacquaio or to be fair, same age and weight to him, I'm predicting Round 3 to 5 TKO.

Pacquaio really enjoying his comfort zone being a close type fighter to the point that even his out of his prime now, his body is used to it.

Anyways, kudos to Keith Thurman for showing aggressiveness to the fight that even he's struggling (especially the blow at Round 10, that's hurt!), he tries to remain in his phase and never did such boring hugs to stop Pacquaio's attack. He exchanged punches like what a champion must show and that's what the audience wants. Overall, the fight is not boring to watch. Awesome that he even at least get back on Round 6 to 8. Yes, he is a class act, unlike other boxer that Pacman beat still claims up to this day think they have won against Manny,  . With this performance, I don't think that Manny Pacquiao will just hang up with gloves yet, not sure about the number of fights he signs, but I'm sure he will continue to fight at least one before finally retiring.

The knock down was the key to Manny and proves that he can still punch. This is not a very easy fight for him, Thurman really gave everything and try to win, but with Manny's experience he was able to fend off Thurman's aggressive and it the end that knock down was the big difference if you look at the judges scorecard.

Maybe Pacman dominated it but the way i see it on a few rounds and considering how many jabs landed, overall, i still see that Thurman will be the winner. Luckily they have a split decision of the judges so i can see the only reason that makes Pacman wins was that first-round knockdown.

I'm sure Thurman's team was aiming to get ready for the rematch of Pacman ASAP. I can see it on his eyes that he fail the way he talks about it on their last interview.

The trash-talk was all part of the promotion and it works. It somehow irked Manny and the fans got a good fight.
