2. Insurance for the host miner To ensure the people who buy host miner in my place will not lost money, we provide the following insurance All of the host miner will have an option to resell after four month host and the price is calculated based on the following equation: R= I+(H*4)-(M*E) R: Re-sell price I: Initial price of host miner H: Host fee:225$ M: Mined btc during the four month, E: Exchange ratio of btc/usd from btc-e
Here is an example for understanding: A buyer who have bought one host miner at the price of 2900$(I), the miner switched to his/her pool on Apr 18, and host in my place for four months, and mined 6.035 btc during these time. And the real-time exchange ratio of btc/usd in btc-e on 18 Aug is 410$ . Then this buyer will have an option to re-sell the miner to us at the price of R= I+H*4-M*E=2900+(225*4)-(6.035*410)=3800-2475=1325$
I will get back with the math done.
but I paid 2860 and host fees. were 225+ 215 + 185 + (185 due) = 3670
mined apr 20 to apr 29 at a diff of 6,978 --- 9 x .07214 = .64926 btc mined apr 29 to may 12 at a diff of 8,000 --- 13 x .06293 = .81809 mined may 12 to may 24 at a diff of 8,853 --- 12 x .05686 = .68232 mined may 24 to june 5 at a diff of 10,455 --- 12 x .04815 = .57780 mined June 5 to june 18 at a diff of 11,756 ---13 x .04282 = .55666 mined june 18 to june 29 at a diff of 13,462 ---11 x .03740 = .41140 mined june 29 to july 12 at a diff of 16,818 ----13 x .02993 = .38909 mined july 12 to july 25 at a diff of 17,336 ----13 x .02904 = .37752 mined july 25 to aug 7 at a diff of 18,736----13 x .02687 = .34931
will mine aug 7 to aug 20
total = 4.81145 btc x 584 usd btc-e = 2809
so 3670 - 2809 = 861 ? pay back if it ended today>
So here I am I purchased my miner on apr 20 aug 18th comes to 120 days. I want to sell back the miner at your terms I wanted to do this but was refused via email. Said it's not cost effect for him to do that anymore. Glad someone else has brought it up. Is it true "price protection insurance" is no longer available, did he change the terms without informing his early adopter customers that have been paying these premium hosting rates?

No so sure that early adapters lets say april 30th or earlier are shut out of this. He did not offer protection for later buyers. He may pay for March and April buyers. He ended the offer some time in may. (not sure when it was no longer offered for newer buyers) I will wait to see what he does As My buyout day is Aug 18th. In the meantime my miner is down.

Hows it going? Down for 8+ hours so far. Now down for 15 hours. Looks like it came up for 10 minutes about 5 hours ago then went down again. I think its the premium hosting. On another note, do you do the 90Mh/s A2 model? Its not on your price list but its still offered as a rental by your colleague notlist3d

Do not pm me about your miners down or other problems, I have no relation with www. easy2mine.com or with pcfli. Pcfli should have claimed www.pcfli.com instead of www. easy2mine.com, I am in no way responsible with your miners down or other problems. I will not respond to those pms. The average temperature is dropping fast the last week in China, I myself had never problems with miners shutting down because of overheating problems. The only times I have to shutdown my miners is because the electricity company is installing a new electricity meter and when I was pulling cables over from another house with a fixed rate of 0.56 yuan.

Pcfli, have your circuit breakers replaced with not made in China circuit breakers. Although they are rated 100A, they are actually 80A and are heat sensitive if they have run for a long time. The 100A circuit breakers made in China are about 80 Yuan, buy in Hong Kong quality circuit breakers, they costs about 500 HK dollar and safe you a lot of headache. The ones made in China will run fine for 2-3 months continues and then they will start to destroy your equipment, they are not made to run miners. Miners are putting all sort of equipment to their limits. Under normal conditions, the made in China circuit breakers are fine and can handle peak of 100A easily, but we are talking about bitcoin miners now and they are putting everything at their peak. Put a small fan to cool your 100A and 400A circuit breakers untill you have replace it with quality circuit breakers.

I'm sure Mr Lee will consider compensating for lost earnings with an outage such as this, regardless of the reason, with a setup where any downtime is loss of earnings for your customers you should have more than enough failsafes in place to cover these sorts of eventualities. This was a 24 hour outage of his more expensive hosting option, at current difficulty 1TH will earn 0.02549 BTC or around $12.5 in that time and 1 days hosting is around $4.44. A the minimum he could either give 3 days extra hosting or 0.03453 BTCThese are the minimum numbers, other reputable companies would probably do more to compensate.
