what happens if Bitcoin dies

we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?

Bitcoin may not actually die, and this is just another attempt to play it when it crashes. After all, in the past, Bitcoin has been declared dead many times.

If bitcoin dies, definitely the crypto prices would crash deeply it is really big affect to the market, but I'm sure some altcoins can survive if that happens the crypto market will continue to run.

If Bitcoin dies or replaced by any other Altcoin. I believe a terrible scenario will take place, and the market will fall for a long time. Bitcoin considered the heart of Cryptocurrency, so if it destroyed it will cause the whole market to collapse.

Can somebody name how it could die , as i can see no method how it could die . Ok only if somebody find a way how to hack blockchain and thats it . You can't ban it in all countries , can't just turn it off . If price drops really low and miners start to turn off mining farms then for somebody it will be profitable to mine again as difficulity level will change depending on how many people mine

I think the death of bitcoin will not be the end of cryptocurrency, if it dies altcoins like Ethereum, XRP could replace it. But the performance of those coins will be unknown. And of course, a lot of us can lose our profit.

I think that - Bitcoin Will Never Die! .. But if this happens, it will be only in distant future, when will emerge a more innovative technology that will depreciate all cryptocurrencies. Or else a global cataclysm will occur, as a result of which humanity will be rejected in development to level of the Stone Age.

yes I also agree with what you say if the bitcoin is really dead, of course it will greatly affect the altcoin price and also the market. but on the other hand I also strongly believe that the market will improve soon and some altcoins will rise in price again.

In my opinion the crypto will lose it's credibility, some says that other alts will its place, maybe that could happen but it will take more years. For 10 years crypto is adopted within that period of time, it is lacking, it needs time to recover if the king of crypto will die for others to take it's place.

Everything will not happen in light speed, BTC will die in slowly if it ever happens. Altcoins will lose market cap with negative trading order books if BTC price dumps hard. It does not case to die slowly or in a flash crash. Altcoins doesn' t exist if there are no dominant cryptocurrencies in my opinion.

any possibilities can be happened especially in crypto world, before we talk about the death of bitcoin lets review how is the first time bitcoin appears and how does bitcoin rise until it has the all time high price, its needed for very long period, even many bad news and country regulation cant kill this future currency. it has many supporters starting from when bitcoin used in black market until now, and people start to realize that bitcoin are more unique and has many advantages rather than other currencies.

It's impossible to expect that. Bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency. I think bitcoin will not let it happen. It will affect the whole cryptocurrency. How the bitcoin can die? Bitcoin will always be in our life imo, but in anything happens like this another crypto currency will take over bitcoins place and we move on. But cryptocurrencies will always be in our life. that is inevitable.

There is no doubt that the price of Bitcoin do affect the price of altcoins but that is not to say that altcoins cannot survive without Bitcoin, if Bitcoin is no more, altcoins will surely survive because there are many good project today that can take the place of Bitcoin.
