Looks like multiport for scrypt is not working (for me anyway - I do see hashrate switching between coins so it must be working for some people).  I can connect fine to QTL and POT on direct ports though.

There was a single stratum instance that was misbehaving -- it's fixed now. (There's >10 of those for each multiport.)

Any chance you can add a profitability API? I'd love to add it to my Minercontrol mod since my Nvidia's don't do failover & multiport, but I'd still like to switch them between neoscrypt and X11, whatever is more profitable.

Thank you sir!  Back on multiport, working just fine again.

Would it be worth our time to add MONA to the scrypt multiport?  It seems to cycle with some pretty decent price and it's been around for a bit.

I'd be happy to add it, and have considered it for a while -- the only problem is that it is too high of difficulty for us to mine and find blocks quickly, so switching to it on "low" difficulty blocks would have little benefit.

MONA has around 40% of the difficulty of DOGE, which we find 0-4 blocks a day of on average with merged mining. So if we mined MONA, we could expect to find 1-10 blocks a day if it was the only coin being mined.

I see your point.  Probably not worth it under the circumstances.

Yesterday, I added a new multiport for Lyra2RE on port 3343. Currently, it includes the two available Lyra2RE coins: Vertcoin and Lyrabar.

Note that Lyra2RE may not be the best option for profit if you're mining with GPUs, but it can be good for CPU mining.

Why are we getting rid of extract coin?  It's not worth much but even a little extra is worth something.

Also when we switch to NET my miners are acting weird (BFGminer 5) I get a lot of these:

Coinbase check: multiple inputs in coinbase: 0xc5

It also tells me all pools are dead at the top but it does appear to be still hashing and receiving work from the pool.

Why are we getting rid of extract coin?  It's not worth much but even a little extra is worth something.

There's no development or activity on it, and nearly zero volume on exchanges. (It's pending for removal from Bittrex currently due to lack of volume.)

Having nearly worthless coins included in merged mining actually hurts profits because with each coin included in merged mining, there's a small bit of efficiency lost due to the increased frequency of work updates to miners.

I was also editing my post above in case you missed it.

I also observe we haven't hit a NET block yet, maybe the error I posted above is related to that fact.

That's strange -- I've disabled NET for now, I'll have to look into it.

Lots of coins have been added this week, mostly older coins to increase our options for multiport mining and profitability:

Scrypt: Florincoin (FLO), GuldenCoin (NLG), DNotes (NOTE), Digibyte (DGB), and SaintPatrickCoin (STP)
SHA256: Joulecoin (XJO), Digibyte (DGB_S)
X11: DigitalCoin (DGC_X)

I am unable to connect...

I see hashrate on the multiport.  Did you setup some kind of blocking?

EDIT: I am able to connect on the titan multi port although I do not have titans.  Just by way of explanation I have a script to restart BFGminer hourly.  I have a couple of G-blacks (5 gridseed blades in the same case) which show up as 10 separate USB devices.  Over time the devices start to drop-off and stop submitting shares.  So restarting the software miner seems to pick them back up and keep them all mining as much as possible without me having to babysit too much.  When I checked on them the software miner was unable to connect to the pool on both.  So either the pool is having a problem making new connections or I am having problems connecting on port 3333 for whatever reason.

There was a single stratum process that was misbehaving -- it's fixed now, so you should be able to connect. (You were just being put onto the problematic one by the load balancer when you were reconnecting.)

I hope your database can handle some big numbers.  I'm probably going to hit a million coins if we stay on ldoge and this thing brought some massively heavy hitters out of somewhere.

Of course.. we've mined all sorts of coins with far larger coin supplies in the past Smiley

I see I have some DGB_S. Looks like digibyte with the S added. Can I still use my dgb wallet?

Yes. When we add coins with an underscore and letter, that means they can be mined under multiple algorithms. DGB is mined under scrypt, DGB_S is mined under SHA256. It's all the same coin, and yes you can use the same wallet (or same address even).

This is exactly what I've been looking for!!   Moving 7.5MH.s over tonight.

Will there be an API coming soon?  As a huge multipool.us fan, I just created an iOS app to track my miners (due out in 2 weeks).  It will be easy to put out an app for ipominer using same code.

so, still no API ?

That's correct -- no API. What's your use case for it? There just hasn't been enough interest in an API to drive implementing it.
