I have an exciting announcement for everyone! ipoMiner now features merged mining for scrypt coins, including DogeCoin (DOGE), Syscoin (SYS), and PesetaCoin (PTC) being merged with all our other scrypt mining. There are no changes needed on your end. Because of the high difficulty for mining merged mine coins, finding blocks on them will likely be fairly rare, but every bit of profit helps!
Good job! And btw, any new scrypt coin in sight? Nothing new as of today, but I'll be adding some older coins and am working on an automatic switching mode for when new coins are not available. What happened to NAUT?
The port for NAUT has been shut off because there has been so little interest in it. Hi. Ipo

Hi - there is a problem with the RSN wallet processing "large" transactions. Trying to send even 20,000 at a time fails. You were sent a total of 74349.06310665 RSN over 8 transactions. I manually sent you 10,000 RSN in 7 transactions (70,000 RSN), which won't show up on the website because they had to be manually sent. Here are the transaction ids for those for your reference: 403f90bfbf5b20f016541e9cea4dfcd21a44cfb2d38e305ebdfb9aa129d6b873 60801c9b44c07b28707edff79547de941df948f6a6cec6c87880f9a4d33784d9 615e5c2952bdc0666e0d4feb5f3309baf03af98d161b9f0ff166b5460355a06a 2fdecf49a98422bdd54f04584ddcc03335b095d71c6db60a3efad40cd0e2b83a ade8f9c84b6c778e786969f9ddc39a0f5eb573fea8da3144b6f2001e94d2244f b2d4a8122db8bb70498e352176a506cb7df38670686afa86ad3febb4cad8b8fd f920f0783345f45fe4eb53e6bffb5109fa840103d714768f6d6b36d976f3d9ce The transaction id from the final 4349.06310665 RSN is 920a18888518cdbeb13ea36b94a92cbae35ecad3c9b2fcd616371d04abf4e73e

Payouts for DarkCoin are temporarily disabled, because of a bug with the latest DarkCoin source code. I'm in contact with their developers about fixing the issue and payouts for DRK will be re-enabled when it is resolved.

This week is full of good news for everyone at ipoMiner! There are a few notable items I'm excited to report for today:
- Implemented auto-switching based on profitability for the scrypt and X11 multiports, with an override capability for when new coins are available.
- Added PotCoin (POT), as it has been one of the more profitable scrypt coins recently. SocialxBot (XBOT), PotCoin, and Quatloo (QTL) are the main coins for the scrypt multiport for now, and I will be adding more in the next day or so. For X11, CANN and URO are the coins that are active on the multiport currently.
- Fixed a long-standing bug with the frontend display of profitability where it would occasionally show zero instead of the actual profitability while certain background jobs were processing calculations.
- Added another merged mining coin today, Umbrella LTC (ULTC). That means that mining the scrypt multiport will also mine Dogecoin (DOGE), Syscoin (SYS), PesetaCoin (PTC), and Umbrella LTC (ULTC) now.

Nice! Do you think you can find a way how to mark coins that are old and only for profit-switching purposes and coins that are IPO-like? Thanks.

Yes, I'll be working on improving the frontend to include more information like that.

We found our first merged mined block today! Apparently a block we found met the difficulty for SYS, PTC, and ULTC (but not DOGE), so we got a block for each of those three coins Since merged mining is a new concept for many people, I thought it was worth pointing out since this is the first one we've gotten after adding merged mining recently. If you've been mining the scrypt multiport you should see SYS, PTC, and ULTC in your account now, as you would normally for mined coins. For reference, the payouts for the blocks are at: SYS: https://www.ipominer.com/blockdetail?block=65927&curr=sysPTC: https://www.ipominer.com/blockdetail?block=382430&curr=ptcULTC: https://www.ipominer.com/blockdetail?block=20673&curr=ultc

I added several more coins today for scrypt multiport auto-switching, including: DigitalCoin (DGC), Viacoin (VIA), and FeatherCoin (FTC). Today also marked the first use of the new coin override on the scrypt multiport, with DarkPeer (DPC) being mined for a short while at launch. DarkPeer is now available on direct port 3467. CheckCoin (CKC) was added to Bittrex, and I have now included it on the X11 multiport rotation. Darkcoin payouts have been resumed, after I was able to fix the problem with the latest version of their code. (I filed the bug with Darkcoin as issue #43 on Github, if any of you are curious about it.)

Hi, are you sure DOGE merged mining is working fine? Till 12 hours ago I was mining in another merged pool and I was getting up to 1000 Dodges everyday. Now I got 15 in 12 hours with the same 11 Mhs.
The rest of merged coins seems to have a similar incoming rate.

Yes, DOGE merged mining is working fine. We simply don't have a lot of scrypt hashrate relative to the difficulty of mining Dogecoin. DOGE difficulty has been averaging around 12-14k for the past few days, making it 4-5x more difficult to find blocks on than the other merged mineable coins like SYS, PTC, and ULTC. With 500-1000Mh of scrypt hashrate, you would expect to find between 0.66-1.3 DOGE blocks per day, which means there will be a lot of variation in DOGE blocks at our hashrate levels. Its entirely possible to see multiple blocks in a single day, or zero for a week or more, depending on block finding variance. The block reward on DOGE was also just cut in half to 31,250 per block.

Oh, I didn't know the reward had just been reduced. Anyway in the long run, both pools should give the same amount of doge. Let's wait. Thanks.

Hi ipominer, today you added seed coin on your MP, but the reward for the coin is only 0.1 per block distributed inbetween the miners. On the other hand, minimal payout is possible to be set on 10 coins as the lowest and the manual cash out is stating 0.001 will be deducted as network fee.

The SeedCoin payout minimum and txfee will be fixed shortly. The first blocks we mined will mature soon - it takes 120 to be confirmed.

I added two new coins today, with new coin override on their respective multiports at launch - SeedCoin (SEED) and GhostCoin (GHOST).
SeedCoin (SEED) is now available for mining on scrypt direct port 3468. GhostCoin (GHOST) is on X11 direct port 3632, and will likely stay on the X11 multiport for a while as long as difficulty remains reasonably low.
Take a minute to note the particular details of SeedCoin's initial staking, if you haven't familiarized yourself with it yet. You'll probably want to withdraw coins as soon as possible to a local wallet to maximize coin age. (Their POS interest has a unique initial period beginning at block 10100 with extremely high daily interest.)

There was a short outage on the frontend web server earlier today for about 10 minutes, which did not affect mining or stratum services. The outage was caused by a fault in a switch on the datacenter's internal network and has been resolved by them.

It looks like Triangles' code/blockchain have finally been fixed and are working again. I have reset all the saved TRI withdrawal addresses, so you won't accidentally withdraw to one on an older wallet somewhere. When Bittrex has upgraded their wallet and I can verify that transactions are working, I'll re-enable withdrawals for TRI.

Hoes does the staking at SEED work? Do I need to have my wallet turned ON 24/7 in order to get maximum of it? Thanks.
