I'm getting connection refused on the neoscrypt port.
Port 3342 should be live for neoscrypt. I think you were trying 3343, which is what I had it incorrectly listed as in the news. (That's been corrected now.) I'm happy to report that I've found blocks on PhoenixCoin (PXC) now, which means neoscrypt is officially working and ready for mining when Feathercoin switches over I'll need to do some modification later today on the frontend to get hashrates to be displayed accurately, and to change worker difficulty settings since 64 as a minimum will be a little high for neoscrypt.

... Since X13 has been pretty quiet lately, I plan on replacing the X13 coin statistics in the site's header with coins that are added across all of those other algorithms. ...
could this be done at the same time? pretty please ... I'll need to do some modification later today on the frontend to get hashrates to be displayed accurately, and to change worker difficulty settings since 64 as a minimum will be a little high for neoscrypt.

THE POWER! But no result... just HW... Tested all I, g, w, engineclock, memclock variations - just HW, nothing more.

@Jayfek I had the same issue when I started with neoscrypt. The secret apparently is to remove your existing catalyst drivers, install version 13.xx catalyst drivers, run cgminer 3.7.7b with your desired settings so that it generates .bin files, and then re-install version the latest version 14.9 driver (to get optimum performance in all algorithms - you can run neoscrypt on 13.xx at very slightly lower performance than 14.9 yields). It's quite a pain in the ass, I know - but hopefully that means we can rack up some easy blocks on FTC when it switches If you have a 290x, hop on IRC and I can help you with settings.

This week’s HashX payouts have finished being processed and paid out to users. The net profit was 0.00033339 BTC/Mh/day average, with 15.9% higher returns than LTCGear qASIC shares alone would be.
The HashX beta period is still ongoing, with the specially discounted pricing of $7.99/Mh still available if you're interested.

I am interested in any kind of cloud mining where I can pay for a longterm contract (like Genesis Mining) but I would like to mine new coins, for instance via IPOminer. Is there any service available?

No, unfortunately. I think the logistical overhead involved makes such a service difficult to run at a reasonable cost. I am considering offering hosted mining, but haven't found a good way to make the math on it work out favorably for users. If I come up with something, I'll be sure to let you know though

TrafficCoin (TRFC) has been added on X15 port 3338. This is the first X15 coin we've added since adding in X15 support recently If you're using sgminer v5, it is simple to mine X15 -- you would just use "-k x15mod" instead of "-k x11mod" for X11. Also, I added separate ports for PhoenixCoin and Feathercoin (for when it switches to neoscrypt in ~950 blocks). PhoenixCoin is on port 4400 and Feathercoin will be 4401. Port 3342 will be the neoscrypt multiport, which is currently mining Phoenixcoin but will switch to Feathercoin when neoscrypt mining begins on it.

Awesome news about the new neoscrypt multiport.
Are we on the wrong SPARK fork or is Bittrex? Tried to withdraw there several hours ago but nothing...

That's a good question. The SPARK block explorer isn't working, so it's hard to tell for sure. Suprnova, Suchpool, and Minerpools are on the same blockchain as we are, so my guess is that we'll end up on the winning side of a fork. Bittrex and one other smaller pool appear to be on their own fork.

site and stratum down There was a large scale DDoS attack that affected our hosting provider. It wasn't targeted at us, but it did cause several outages on both stratum services and ipoMiner.com. There was an initial outage lasting for approximately 12 minutes, from 03:08 AM EDT to 03:20 AM EDT, and then sporadic availability issues beginning from 3:50 AM EDT until approximately 4:50 AM EDT. As of 5:10 AM EDT, the provider updated us that the attack had been successfully filtered and everything appears to be back to normal.

Feathercoin mining using the neoscrypt algorithm is live! Get your miner setup and come mine the most ridiculously profitable coin of the day with us. We've found quite a few blocks so far For mining neoscrypt with us, set your worker difficulty to what you would for the same hardware on scrypt mining -- we adjust it by 8x. As an example, for a rig mining neoscrypt at ~440Kh/s with four 290x cards, I set a difficulty of 512 on the site, which will then get translated to a neoscrypt difficulty of 64. Most miners will likely want to set a worker difficulty on the site of 64-512 for neoscrypt, although of course higher worker difficulty settings are supported if you have higher hashrates.

DarkKush (DANK) has been added on the X13 multiport, and direct port 3732.
Also, note that SparkCoin's network continues to have multiple forks and needs attention from its developer to resolve. Payouts on it have been disabled for now, pending resolution of the fork. The developer hasn't been heard from for more than a day on the thread, so I have disabled the direct port for now and rerouted it to the X11 multiport.

The X13 section in the top header area has been replaced with a new section called "exotic algorithms", which includes all the algorithms we support other than scrypt and X11.
I'll be working on improving it a bit further in the next few days to include an algorithm label for each coin in that section, but I wanted to push the basic updated header live as soon as possible for everyone mining on the new algorithms we added recently.

The new webpage sounds great, I'm looking forward to seeing it when the site is up again. For now, a get request to www.ipominer.com returns an internal server error (500) and all I see is a blank page. Can you take a look and post when the site is up again? Thanks.

There was a hardware failure on our main database server at 8:18AM EDT this morning, which led to website outage (frontend-only) until approximately 5:20 PM this afternoon. It has now been resolved and everything is operational again. Fortunately, mining was not affected, and only the frontend was down during that time. Sorry about the delayed response and lack of updates on this today - I went to bed an hour before the failure happened, after working all night on the interface update.
(The only odd thing you should see now is on the coin statistics pages, the miner that found the block will be missing and the block stale rate calculation is flawed as a result.)
