the real question is how to make virtual reality closer to people and more useful?

yeah, many have heard about VR, but few understand what it really is about

the specificity is that this is not fully explained in words or on video. Only by trying it, a person will be able to understand what VR is and feel what it is capable of. And it's not about two-minute demos made by students and free of charge downloaded by the owners of the stands in the shopping center.

I agree! a person should make a purchasing decision based on these impressions. It is necessary to conduct high-quality shows. Perhaps when consumer demo racks will appear in stores with more visual content it will unlock the potential of VR...

the most difficult thing with VR is to explain to people how it feels in reality. it is not possible to create a wide viewing angle with "raw" screenshots and video images deliberately distorted with the expectation of the lenses

It looks like a bunch of VR systems are waiting for us in the coming years. It's great, but still leads to segmentation of the public. Not afraid that software developers will be too difficult to reach the right audience when everyone uses different VR helmets? We all remember what happened to the consoles when there were too many of them (crisis of 1984).

But all ended up well in the end! The situation of the eighties is difficult to shift to the present time simply because of the current software distribution technologies.

If a person comes home and wants to rest, having plunged into virtual reality, into a movie or a game, in this case his motivation to put on a helmet is understandable.

the question is will he put on a mobile headset in its present form lets say in the subway? (and he should also want to take these glasses with him)

device minimization, external camera, motion sensors, etc.

It is interesting to look at Apple's steps in the field of VR. After all, this company masterfully knows how to bring completely new products to the market.

Suppose VR has become a habit ... and something went wrong. For a madness like freemium games that deliberately cause dizziness until you pay for overcoming the paywall, no one will know for sure. what can really happen?

before the emergence of full-fledged neural interfaces, it’s hard to imagine anything terrible here…

this is what will destroy the institution of the family and lead to a fertility crisis
