It was a final match of equal quality, they played well throughout the match until they finally had to decide the winner on penalties. What a boring game - one of the worst finals I have seen in a while. Both teams were really reactive and are technically simply not good enough to create anything meaningful from possession.
Overall Frankfurt did deserve the trophy more - after all, they are undefeated throughout the competition. Rangers now have 2 final defeats in the last 15 years - they lost the 2008 final against Zenit.

I would say that for a final that game yesterday was quite ok. Of course there were not that many big chances to score but that was to be expected as it was a final after all and there you don't have a second leg where you can make up for a mistake. That is the reason why most final games don't have to many goals. I also think that Frankfurt deserved to win the trophy yesterday as they tried more when they had the ball in my opinion. The Glasgow Rangers played more defensively and waited for their chances to start quick counterattacks, which almost worked out for them as they scored the first goal and had another huge chance to score close to the end of the overtime.

It was Rangers that first scored yesterday, but Rafael Borre made Frankfurt lucky as the match went further beyond 90 minutes as it was a draw. Penalty was played and Frankfurt won. I count penalty as a lucky match but the winner ( the club that wins) is in record which is what people will be saying, but Rangers truly tried.

Rangers scored first in the 57th minute to prove that Rangers were trying to win the game. Unfortunately they could not maintain their lead,
because just 12 minutes later Frankfurt managed to equalize. Finally forced the match to end in a penalty shootout, then Frankfurt won the penalty

Frankfurt performance in yesterday final was truly extraordinary, even though it was 0-1 down in the 57th minute but the Frankfurt squad responded to the goal quite well and even they were able to equalize the score in the 69th minute and forced the trophy to be determined with a penalty kick, I look at transfermark if the value of their squad is not more than 180 million euros and their value is clearly very far below if we compare the value of the squad owned by bayern munchen and dortmund, but even though frankfurt does not display the best performance in the league but the european league trophy is proof that they are a very good team even without expensive players, by winning the european league trophy without experiencing a single defeat this season makes frankfurt entitled to play in the champions league next season.

Actually Frankfurt play on champion league next season without play off round, have 5 team from Bundesliga next season on champion league and the same ever happening on La Liga they have 5 team on champion league too. I think Frankfurt have prepare next season with top level player after bad performance on domestic league although success on europe league. Have different level between europe league and champion league, actually when getting hard group stage with bigger team.

Frankfurt played quite good  in that match even though the rangers looked quite domineering, but frankfurt also had a good defense and was able to stop every attack made by the rangers players, the smart and impressive game played by frankfurt could compensate for the aggressive game displayed by the rangers throughout the match, I think this season frankfurt is lucky enough to win the european league trophy even though they are in 11th place in the domestic league, so it is certain that they will be able to play in the champions league through an automatic ticket to the european league champion next season, besides this season Frankfurt is still still have one more chance to win the inter-club world champion trophy by facing this season champions league champions between madrid and liverpool later.

The win is well-deserved especially after dropping a team like Barcelona. Though I was rooting for Rangers, I backed Frankfurt. Players are substituted when they go off on penalty kicks but end up missing them, which causes the cup to be forfeited. That is a tough blow to Ramsey.
