⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner

This can be probably the last week of this Champions'. Let see what will happen.

Excepting a win for Atletico or at least a draw but they will advance to quarters.

Liepzig was half expected considering Spurs have been really horrible since Mourinho came in. The trouble with this is, dude was seen one of the best managers of our time during his tenure in real madrid and in chelsea, dude was basically klopp before klopp but than something happened and he moved on to Manchester United and he was so so so horrible that nobody picked him up for a whole year, so he came to Spurs as a last effort to actually save his managerial career yet he is still so bad that I think this could basically be the last year he manages a top team.

Atalanta on the other hand loving the fact that they are no longer in a corona infected italy and destroyed valencia again Cheesy

All jokes aside they were pretty good and already won on the first game pretty convincingly but kept it up with this one as well, plus it was a really high amount of scoring as well with 4-3 anyone who played 6.5 over would have been pretty quite rich today Cheesy

So far not big damage from both side but Liverpool is doing most of the attacks. Both teams are taking their time to settle down. This is not going to be easy for any team after all.

The match is getting tighter, both of them are attacking each other and strong in their defense, I can't imagine if Athletico Madrid scores first it will be harder for Liverpool to respond because seeing this game Atletico is really strong in his defense even Liverpool continues to kick at goal accurately.

PSG & Liverpool doing really well to turn around 1st leg deficits atm. 2nd halves will be explosive, I’m watching the LFC vs Atleti game but PSG are on fire by the looks of it in the other one.

agree, both matches are very good in first half, and home teams are in the lead, equalizing the advantage from first match, PSG is in better situation, since 1:0 is enough for them to pass through, but seems that LFC will also score at least one more in the second half and mark their QF entrance

I didn't pay attention to the games yesterday, I only just noticed the scores. The Spurs sure blew it. I didn't think they had much of a chance after giving up a goal at home, but wow, what a drumming they got from Leipzig.

Liverpool needs one more goal to make it easier for them to qualify. 2nd half started and let's see what we get from here. First half was good for us.

In the other match it seems PSG already have the required goal margin for the next round but still the whole 2nd half left. Let's see what we see after the final whistle of the regular time.

The match has definitely surpised me tonight, because its a close call.
Dortmund need a goal to move ahead to extra times, but have played unaminously poor today, could it be due to lack of fans cheering ?

The match against liverpool is as expected, with Atletico making the blocks and defending deep. A goal by Atletico on the counter could ruin the night for Liverpool.

Overall its an interesting final 10-15 minutes of champions league round tonight.

Pressure is building on in the Liverpool match. We need another goal to secure the next round but there are not much time too. Only 10 ish minutes to go of the regular time. But if the other one happens means if Atl scores then this will be a disaster.

Liverpool deserves to win this match. Boring Atl do not deserve anything from this match.

PSG is the team that disqualified dortmund.
So sad for Borussia as they were good on both matches and they have great players that would go far in this cup. I think that Haaland is going to be unhappy with his performance in this game after he didn't score any goal.

For a moment I lost my breath. It was a good relief that it was off side or we would have a game over. phew!

Mane really needs to practice some bicycle shots. One should have been a goal from those twos.

This is not fair man!
In the entire match we were dominating and F**king Atl. were defending. I was worried about this type of counter attacks and it seems we had it. Now we at-least need a goal first to equalize for aggregate.

In the first 15 minutes if we can see 3 goals then in the 2nd 15 minutes can't we see at-least a goal?
I hope we do from Liverpool.
