I was watching the match again and noticed how the stadium (with the score 1-1) began to cheer when the referee announced that 6 minutes had been added. It seems that everyone was sure that Real Madrid could score one more goal, and in the end they did. As for extra time, everyone knew that Real Madrid would win, I'm sure even the City players understood this.
Not a few spectators who had left the stadium then ran to hear the equalizing goal and immediately it was like you said. Madrid fans believe that when they get a moment of added time, it means Madrid will win. It's extraordinary, watching the match like a world final and it was almost felt by us who could only watch it from the television screen. Feeling the immense power that was building within the Real Madrid players was something terrible for Manchester City at that time. By the way, I saw the news that those fans who left the stadium at the end of the match were not allowed back even for stoppage time. I don’t know if this was done for ideological reasons or for security reasons (such abrupt returns of the crowd in the past led to cases of crush and death of fans), but whoever missed extra time and Real’s victory in this way will probably regret it all his life. Depends on which team's fans. If it's Real Madrid fans then yes xD. If it's Manchester City fans then they're more likely to be glad they didn't see that defeat with their own eyes, can you imagine watching that on live? The reaction would clearly be more disappointing than finding out after the fact, although it's no less shocking

Even though Pep Guardiola has lost 6 Champion League semi-finals games, he's probably the best manager right now, arguably the best in history!
You must be a Pep fan for you to say that. There are more managers who have a better record than him in Champions League title alone. Remember also Zidane's three consecutive titles with Real Madrid? That's hard to beat but I still don't consider him best in history. He'll probably win just one title this season so "best right now" is also questionable. I would rather give that to Ancelotti. .... Also, he has won three Premier League trophies consecutively.
He won three with City but not consecutively. Liverpool won in 2020.

You're saying all the positive sides of Real Madrid but Liverpool will play for the trophy also. I think we will be able to enjoy a memorable match against Real Madrid and Liverpool. Salah, Mane and overall whole team will try to win the trophy against Real Madrid.
Of course it's an interesting finale. If villareal is qualified then it looks boring, then madrid is like playing in La Liga. It's hard to guess the final result of this game, but my hope is that Madrid will bring the UCL Cup to the Bernabeu. But I'm a little bit worried that some games in the first leg of Madrid always end up losing. Tomorrow it looks like a one-off final, so I hope they will play with all their might for that final.

Do you think? I think pep didn't make a mistake and was just unlucky. In the 80th minute you play defensively against Real when you have the lead. They also played well, but Real were just as good and in the end they had more luck.
Is really hard to speculate what happened in the 2nd leg of the UCL semi finals between Real Madrid vs Manchester City. I mean, no one would have believed the game wasn't won already in favour of Manchester City. At least, if not winning the game in particular, thye had the aggregate to serve as there qualifier in the event of a draw. Surprisingly, the spirit of Real Madrid in Rodrygo produced the needed 2 goals to push for an extra time and K. Benzema gave them the lead with a perfectly delivered penalty. I dontbknow what any normal coach could have done to prevent this but I think, some of the errors was in the Pep Guardiola's substitution. He so much wanted to be in control of the game and mean while, what I think would have been the best option was to let the boys play. You could see Carlo Ancelotti was even while he was loosing. Pep needs some of that calmness and not extend his tensions to the pitch. If Manchester City lost and did not reach the Champions League final, it means that Pep Guardiola made mistakes in his actions and it is useless to argue with this. Guardiola's desire to have constant control over the game and the players is the signature style of the coach, thanks to which he has achieved the successes he has already achieved and this is part of his nature and I am not sure that he is able to change this without prejudice to his activities, so let's take it for granted. It cannot be denied that Guardiola's strategy almost led to success, but still the factor of chance and the nature of Real Madrid did not lead to the necessary result. Modern Manchester City is very strong at a distance, but can get lost when it comes to one match, where everything is decided. This is the style of the team and I'm not sure that it can be fixed without losing in another.

Even though Pep Guardiola has lost 6 Champion League semi-finals games, he's probably the best manager right now, arguably the best in history! The best ones always triumph in the end, he will prove his doubters wrong someday to lift the Champions league cup, and he is still very young for a coach! There is still much hope for him in Manchester City to do that, hopefully, next season or the next 2 champions league season
Manchester City tried their best in the Champion League this season. But, their performance in the Semi-finals was poor. I never expected Madrid to knock them out after they probably won in the first leg. However, Pep Guardiola have been a great Coach in Manchester City. Also, he has won three Premier League trophies consecutively. Most importantly, he led City to their first Champions League finals. Hopefully, he will surely win the Champions League trophy some day. Manchester City as team spent much money every window transfer and Pep Guardiola trough six years with Manchester City never success get trophy, last year as the best season for Pep Guardiola on champion league because success make Manchester City lead until to final before losing by Chelsea. Nowadays Manchester City failed on semifinal and I think still not have chance with Manchester City with champion league trophy trough Pep Guardiola still as manager there, he has failed before with Bayern Munich and success with Barcelona team only giving champion league trophy.

Yes Real Madrid can't do things like in the previous match, now the match is only played once to determine who will be the champion. But I think Real Madrid are aware of that, and will minimize the mistakes that led to their defeat in the first leg. What I like about this team is how their seniors motivate their young players, and they will do it again.
Not only do they have to minimize mistakes, but this time Real Madrid are demanded not to make mistakes because Liverpool as we know their game is fast and always smart to find gaps in their opponents. and when there is a gap then Liverpool are very good at taking advantage of the existing gap. But what I admire about Real Madrid is that they are mentally strong even until the last minute. and the emotional bond between excellent (junior-senior) players.

Real Madrid fielded the B squad for this match to give the main players more rest and avoid injury. Both clubs must avoid mistakes that can cost them, Liverpool and Real Madrid both have great coaches, these two coaches can see the slightest mistakes made by opponents to score goals. Before the match, the odds are still 50:50, it's very difficult to say which team will hold the UCL title.

Liverpool still have a chance to win the English title and will do everything they can to seize that chance. They also play in the English Cup finals. The English Championship is very long and hard and I believe it affects the performances of English clubs in European competitions. Real will have a lot more rest than Liverpool before the final, and that could also affect the final result in the Champions League final.

In terms of experience, it is clear that Real Madrid has no doubt in this Champions League, they are recorded as the team that has won the most trophies here with 13 trophies. And now they are targeting to add to their collection and win the title for the 14th time. It becomes more motivation for Real Madrid players to perform optimally in order to realize their wishes. However, it is true that the two teams are almost equal in terms of strength, but we are waiting to see who will prove their superiority in this match.
If I want to know from the bottom of your heart, who will you choose between Real Madrid and Liverpool in the final match? since both of them look equal in strength position in this season then everyone who wants to bet will definitely choose one of them for this season. I myself would be very happy if Real Madrid could add to their collection of Champions League winners for the 14th time this season, but I will not regret it if Liverpool won the Champions League this season.

The fact that Real has already secured the championship is certainly an advantage. However, I think that Liverpool has a much broader squad than Real and, above all, a much younger one, so they can cope well with that. They have already shown throughout the season that they can perform very well internationally, although they have many more games due to the English weeks than their international opponents. So I think that this fact has little influence on the outcome of the final. Yes Real Madrid can't do things like in the previous match, now the match is only played once to determine who will be the champion. But I think Real Madrid are aware of that, and will minimize the mistakes that led to their defeat in the first leg. The way Manchester City was flushed out of the champion league is so baffling with real Madrid pattern of playing Liverpool is going to fine it hard to win them in the finals, real Madrid fat luck on their side in each game.
That is practically everyone's thinking, considering how Real Madrid qualified from the round of 16, quarter finals, and semi finals, they were incredibly lucky because many of us didn't think they would even get through PSG, then Chelsea, and finally Manchester City. If Madrid continues to be lucky, Liverpool will have a difficult time. Although Liverpool is a very good team in good form, the Premier League title they are chasing appears to be lost, thus they will try their hardest to win the Champions League.

Manchester city is always seeded in every season but they are often eliminated in the blue continent competition. The defeat to Real Madrid shows that playing attacking football does not always result in an advantage where mentality is also the benchmark in every competition.and this is evident in the mentality of Real Madrid. when they fell behind towards the last minute of the game but they could turn things around and qualify for the Champions League final this season, Manchester City's defeat itself was inseparable from a little mistake by Pep Guardiola who tried to play defensively when they had won first so it was immediately responded by Carlo Ancelotti where Rodrigo became the winner for real Madrid

That is what I think too, real madrid was not ready to win that match, if they were so desperate in winning they wouldn't had allowed Atletico Madrid to win, they are reserving their key players for their next game. Real Madrid have much points compare to other laliga teams, they know if they know if Atletico win it won't affect them.

Real Madrid is a team with very high mentality and confidence when competing on the European stage, so it will be very difficult for other teams to beat them. but the final against Liverpool would be ideal because Liverpool also have a high mentality on the European stage. these two teams are teams that often win the UCL, Real Madrid with 13 UCL trophies while Liverpool with 6 UCL trophies. The final match will be very tight, there is a revenge mission from Liverpool, which Real Madrid defeated a few years ago in the UCL final.

After City 0-1, they were far from serious in my opinion and paid the price. What did they miss, far from being serious, in the minutes 80s and later. They missed the positions where they could easily scored if they were smarter. But they could not take into account that the opposite team was Real Madrid. No team in history has ever shown its "winner" spirit to its rivals as much as Real did this season. This spirit that permeates all the players, the technical team and the fans is truly incredible. It was an incredibly enjoyable game to watch. Real Madrid showed us once again that it is a Champions League team.
