Sorry guys i wasnt  at my pc at the time, and didnt realise share exploit on time.  i  used patched stratum code now, so it should be no more  exploiters on  our pool...
again, im sorry, i  created pool, and i had some other duties, it wouldnt cross my mind that someone could use exploits on that way...

Now we have 3 people with more than 0.5% of the coins..

3people + solominers..?

Is there a compiled wallet for OSX please? Th download provided only offers a zipped directory. Thanks.

Sorry about that. Please try again now.

Hirocoin - New unique feature just added. We will be the new home for GPU miners when those Scrypt ASICs hit.

https://hiro.suprnova.cc/ -  pool works flawlessly, show exact my hashrate : 2,852.13 KH/s

-> please don't forget to donate 1% to pool owner <-

Everything is working fine for me too! Nothing like thttp://benchcryptopools.myvnc.com what a scam...

As far as I know benchcryptopools was first pool that was working and pay coins, hashrate was not correct thats true
but I get paid. When more pools are created you can choice one you like Wink

also got banned worker, after half hour

Maybe we should start to compare version numbers of sgminer.. I'm aware that the dev made some change to one of the later branches which introduces this problem.. Invalid shares after some time.. They were discussing in the sgminer thread over it, I just did not follow the conversation. Maybe someone will find it and could post a link here from the sgminer thread

my workers are having issues after ~30 minutes as well...

Can you add an other worker and try it again with the same settings ?

Does it say "banned!" or are you just getting rejects ?

it said me worker temporarily banned

Ok, I'm currently looking into this but cannot find a clue.. other seem to not get banned at all, just a few .. could be the version of sgminer

Try it with an other workername please.

My worker was banned, too...

Yes, there is probably an issue with X11, I'm looking into this.

As a work-around:

Create two workers, worker.1 and worker.2 and configure sgminer to use worker.2 as a failover when worker.1 is banned. (that should work with giving multiple -o switches.

Aaah, I think I've found it, it was a problem with the difficulty.. Invalids were counted 1024 times more than they should Smiley
So if you even sent 1 invalid, the pool thought you sent 1024... which than made it ban you

It is fixed now, so no false positives should be banned anymore, sorry guys !

I back in the pool Smiley

12792 blocks, in 15 minutes, 80 blocks, 400 coin per block, do the maths, 32000 HIRO in 15 minutes, 12 sec per block is the real time per block, 5 times faster than '' dev'' say

Quote
Diff will be adjusted by KGW after block 15,000

Reading isn't really your thing is it? Still waiting on the apology to hrodeberht for calling him a thief when you were (once again) completely misinformed.

Thank you for your encourangement.

I think it is standard max 4 times up depending on hashrate.

Sorry to hear that, possible another have an Idea and can help you. The last idea I have is that you could try to change/lower gpu and/or mem speed. With gpu speed 1070 mhz  I have with scrypt as example significant lower hashspeed as with 1050. Hopefully you find a solution.

Which Brand/Model is your Card? Could someone post please his command line for a 280x card and share/WU? It would be interesting to know what we could reach with a 280x card.
Mine is ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 DirectCU II TOP (90YV0500-M0NA00)
sharerate around 2 Mhash/s and WU is 0.028 to 0.030 Mhash/s.

can anyone help me out with settings for sgminer for a r9  280x?

first time mining on this algo, and -g 4 makes the drivers crash

nah doesnt seem to work, only getting a total of 1mh/s with 2 r9 280x's

I use linux/bamt, but the settings have equivalent parameters in windows

One thing to take note of:
The pool "cheaters", as far as i understand they faked their hashrate towards the pool tricking the pool to accepting fake shares. But the pool would not find more blocks than its actual hashrate allowed for, so they cheated the miners on that pool out of their coins. Bad for the other miners, but they didnt cheat the coin and the network it self if anyone is under that impression. They didnt get any extra blocks cause of this, they got a disproportionate amount from the blocks that were found.

TLDR:
Bad for the pool and its miners, the coin itself should be relatively unharmed by this...

Yeah, WU not accurate on sgminer. Got some blocks though, so obviously working.
