I don't see a chance for Aus to win this match with two days left and are down to 80/4 and trailing by 178 runs. Aus will most probably try to bat out the day and will look for a draw while the Eng will be try to bundle out Aus early and put some quick scores on board and will hope to bundle out Aus once again. So either it's going to be a draw and Aus leading the series or the English winning this match and leveling the series. But the probability of a draw is higher so I'll bet on it.

Don't bet for a draw now because Australia are 4 out for 80 only and if England are able to take wickets quickly, they might end up with 80 runs lead. And they could make another 200 in today's day which will give them around 280 lead. England will have full 5th day to take 10 wickets to win this match. Although this seems a little difficult but that how the winning teams thinks to win.

Allout!  There is no big difference in the scores now. England managed to get a lead of just 8 runs. If the English plan to go for quick runs, things might change and Australia might turn the game around. So if they were clever enough, they'll try to play till lunch tomorrow. So yeah the odds are mostly a draw.

Around 40 overs left for today. May be England will manage 120+ runs and then tomorrow they will try to add more 100 runs. All together before launch if they manage to get 330 to 350 runs lead and then ask Australia to bat for the 2nd innings then may be we will see some excitements.

But I highly doubt any excitement from this Test.

1st wicket gone and it's again Roy whose gone. They should replace him now as he's not able to perform since 4 innings now and getting out early which puts pressure on Burns to perform well.

Edit: Root gone too. England needs to desperately win this match as they are in a better position than last time.

Around 40 overs left for today. May be England will manage 120+ runs and then tomorrow they will try to add more 100 runs. All together before launch if they manage to get 330 to 350 runs lead and then ask Australia to bat for the 2nd innings then may be we will see some excitements.

Highly unlikely, they already lost 2 wickets Roy and Root for 20 runs. Unless they give a stand and play the right balls,  Aussies are getting a chance here.

I am not expecting much from this Test but if Australia can all out English and can win this match then I will be a happy man. They have possibilities. Took 4 wickets very early. Now Stokes and Battler are the challenge for Australia. Get at least one of them before stumps today and then tomorrow go for the rest of the wickets as early as possible. If Australia get a target of 150 or 180 then they can win this match.

I am hating this rain. Around 8+ overs were wasted. If the match were continued then we might see one or two more wickets to down. Good for England.

Regardless of the result of the match (which will be draw) i am disappointed with England performance. 96/4 in second innings is not something which you will be looking by England nation. Even though match will be draw, but England need to reconsider how they can rectify their batting issues.

I will not say that this current Australia has their best squad (I am missing Starc) but the way they are coming back to the match every time, is really exciting. England seems a team who does not have any clue what they are doing. Their top order needs to be sorted.

Still couldn't believe that Smith missed his 3rd consecutive century by just 8 runs. I was expecting that he'll score another ton today, but probably the injury he received while facing Jofra Archer disrupted his concentration. At the same time, it was tragic to watch all the other Australian batsmen struggling against the mediocre English attack. Apart from Smith, none of the other batsmen could score a half century.

That said, Cummins and Siddle bowled well during the second innings. If they could get England all out during tomorrow's first session, then there is a very good chance of getting a result. But Nathan Lyon looked very ineffective today. If Australia is going to win this match, the Lyon needs to play a more proactive role in getting the English batsmen out.

Yes, it was heart breaking to see Smith missed his 3rd consecutive century. I am worried about him for the 2nd innings. Can he bat the way he do? I hope the injury is not much serious.

Sri Lanka should win this Test very easily. You need to check weather forecast before placing the bet. The only upsetting thing I can think of, is the rain.

By the way, I see the odd for Sri Lanka is only 1.10
Do you think it worth the risk? I have record to lose an odd that was 1.06 against Sri Lanka. And I lost around 0.05BTC on that bet if I can remember it correctly.

Many experts here will stop you from going All -IN but this is one match where you can go all in. I mean Srilanka cannot be out for less than 135 runs tomorrow. 
The only disadvantage is that odds for the srilanka win are way too less.
Although the profit will be less but it is a sure shot profit.

Dimuth Karunaratne is also declared the man of the match to score a 100 in this low scoring test match. Also remember this test is a part of ICC World Test Championship. So with this win Srilanka gets on top of the table with 60 points. Can they remain at the top, that's an interesting question.

Also congratulations to Sri Lankan fan. This was an unexpected performance from the team. I did not follow the match but I thought Sri Lanka will lose this series but now it seems they found themselves in a good position to win the series. They just do let the NZ team to win the 2nd Test.
