I doubt they will be able to bat more 12-14 overs tomorrow. Afghanistan probably will win this match, for us, we can now only hope for a drawn which at the moment seems impossible though. A great bowling will be needed for that.

Bangladesh has remained stagnant ever since they achieved the test status (the same can be said about Ireland as well). However, Afghanistan is improving with every passing year. Somehow Bangladesh has managed to avoid the follow on, but Afghanistan is firmly in the drivers seat now. It's just a matter of time before the remaining two wickets fall.

True and that too in their backyard and i think Afghan won good toss as well, its big plus in subcontinent condition. Bangladesh can only hope for batting collapse from Afghani batsmen, which is very much possible IMO.

Anyone watching the Ashes now? It has become really boring. Root and Burns are playing very defensively. England knows that it is impossible to get a lead in the first innings and therefore their real aim is to avoid a follow on. But it is going to be tough, as they need another 228 runs to do that, and that too with just 8 wickets remaining.

Bangladeshi fans are really disappointed to see the team struggling against Afghanistan. Bangladesh is trailing by 148 runs after day2. 8 wickets are already gone and Bangladesh is losing the match for sure. What I saw is very disappointing that no pacer is playing for Bangladesh. Afghanistan is strong in Spin-bowling and Bangladeshi batsman is really striving to defeat that.

England need 360+ runs which looks possible now since they have 8 wickets and Stokes is yet to bat. They should get the runs today but very less time is left. Looks like they will get just 100-130 more runs today at their current run rate.

They need 298 to avoid follow on, and they haven't even covered 50% of that target. Burns and Root are trying to build some sort of a partnership, but lets see how that progresses. Nathan Lyon is having his third consecutive ineffective performance in this test and I hope they'll replace him for the next test. So far absolutely teeth-less and doesn't seems to posses a lot of variety.

Burns out, not sure about Root's lifeline in this inning. He's class batman in a league of Kohli and Smith, but his conversion rate is terrible, so I would be not surprised if he throws away his wicket before his ton. Personally would like to see him play a big inning in this inning only because he's lagging when comparison with Virat, Smith and World Test cricket needs more solid batsmen.

Max 80 runs if they keep going with this run rate without losing any wicket.

Most people here thought the last test match would end in a draw and look what happened. If Australia can Stokes out early on Day 4 and the remaining wickets before lunch then we could see Australia take a 200 run lead. They can then bat the remaining day and get as close to 500 runs as possible and then put England into bat on Day 5. Hazlewood is keeping Australia's hopes for a win alive taking 4 wickets and he doesn't look like he is finished just yet, Strac and Cummins can then clean up the tail in quick fashion. Its going to be an interesting day and I do hope we see a result in this match.

Yeah from 166/2 they suddenly collapsed to 200/5 thanks to Hazelwood. Burns and Root did a good job consuming lots of time so that the match is drawn. Now Eng is trailing by 297 runs has to be keen on avoiding the follow on by scoring another 98 runs with only 5 wickets remaining. Which I think they'll manage to get with Stokes, Bairstow & Butler. I believe that ENG will continue to consume more time tommorow just to ensure a draw. There is no hope for ENG winning this match. A draw seems likely.

Ben Stokes is in the crease and the entire English crowd will be hoping that he produces another magic to stamp him the greatest player of all time  .
Hazlewood is bowling really well but Starc could not take any wickets yet and now i understand clearly why he was not included in the team for the first few test matches. If the English players could bat for a longer period of time and then some rain could save them and they could end up in a draw .

To save the test match, England needs to play for a longer period of time and with the weather to aide them they might end up in a draw and continue to level the series if they are able to play diligently and frustrate the Australian bowlers by defending, i accept it is boring to watch but England has no other choice.

So in the 3rd day of the BAN vs AFG Match, Rashid and Nabi wrapped BAN for 205 and I was like, "Oooh the Afghans have a good lead of 137 runs and if they play consistently as in the 1st innings, they are gonna win this match" and all of a sudden they lose 2 wickets in just 4 balls. Things look bleak now, not sure if AFG would be able to beat BAN.

Right now Afghanistan is in full command and can win this test match 49/3 Asghar Afghan and Ibrahim Zardan on crease and developing good partnership if they able to touch 300 runs lead then surely they are going to win second test from three which could be not bad at all.

Mitchell Starc is playing this test and he will wrap up the lower order and tail in quicktime. My prediction is that England will not be able to avoid follow on, and even in case rain intervenes, Australia will get enough time to get the remaining 15 wickets. In case England somehow manages to avoid the follow on, then a draw looks like the most probable result.

Now coming to the AFG vs BAN match, Afghanistan is leading with 188 runs with 7 wickets in hand. IMO, a total of 250 would be enough, considering the strength of the Afghan bowling lineup. They would be aiming for a lead of 350+ though (~210-215 in the second innings). Any target above 250 is going to be difficult for Bangladesh, especially in the fourth innings against bowlers such as Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi.
