I really hope that players such as Akshay Wadkar are noticed by the Indian selectors. He has been performing in the domestic circuit quite consistently over the years, but never made it to the top level due to lack of powerful backers. He is a wicket-keeper batsman who has lead from the front. Also, I would say that it was a good comeback series for Karun Nair. His performance has improved and matured after he moved from Karnataka to Vidarbha. He was the leading run-scorer for Vidarbha in this season, with 690 runs at an average of 40.58.

I agree with you. It is sad when talented players like Akshay Wadkar do not get noticed because they do not have strong supporters. Selectors should give chances to players who do well in domestic matches not just the famous players. Akshay Wadkar is a good leader and plays well as a wicketkeeper batsman so selectors should think about picking him for Indian team.
And you are right Karun Nair is playing really well since he moved from Karnataka to Vidarbha. He is scoring good runs in recent season which shows that his decision to change teams was good. In general selectors should be more open and fair when picking players for Indian cricket team.

BCCI has the capability to even influence ICC and make changes in the rules that may restrict players from migrating but I guess they won't do unless the individual hurts someone's ego in the BCCI table.

I'm afraid that's not right on many counts. People migrate for a better life, better opportunities etc and Professional athletes are no different.   

BGT is scheduled in Dec this year but look at how CA gets on with the scheduling. They already fixed the venue for all 5 test matches. Tickets should also be available soon and in contrast, look at how BCCI conducts these arrangements.

One funny news regarding Sri Lankan all rounder Hasaranga.

After playing just 4 test matches, the dude took an early retirement. Recently he backtracked on his retirement and made himself available for test format, the funny part is as soon as he came back in the test scene. He was slapped with 2 match ban because he earned extra demerit points in the recently concluded ODI series.

In the last death overs, the matches start again at a fast pace where we have seen many boundaries and wickets. Test matches will lack this type of entertainment.

Here we have nothing new with we have too much from the many players, but sadly ICC never take decisions on them with mostly they ignore players from the top three because of their influence which is surely never been ideal but now having action against Sri Lankan player is also clearly indicating how biased they are into their decisions.

Here I agree because ICC has never been fair and well-balanced for the all teams which is creating incidents like this, and they need to be having tough rules for things like these because now we need to have better policies which help the all youngsters for having disciplined career ahead of them with this all we also needed he has done this in T20i then he needs to be punished for this format or for all games instead of giving him ban for the two test matches which are completely different games like we have in soccer games players are punished for the all games or just for the relative league which is also fair enough for the player hopefully we will have punishments like this for the big teams and their players as well in near future.

Sri Lanka has pulled a similar move before to prevent the captain from being banned for slow over rates in the T20 World Cup. It was a clever move on their part. However, I really commend the ICC for taking a stand on this issue. Sri Lanka's actions seem a bit sneaky to me, and I don't think such tactics should be condoned. Hasaranga made a mistake and should face consequences for it. But perhaps the ICC should consider revising their rules. If a player violates a rule in a specific format, they should only be banned from that particular format.

In Asia, we have only India which is going good for the all three formats with all others are struggling badly specially in test matches due to lack of their domestic setup and infrastructure which is also not supportive so now from here I want to have few things mostly they needed to prefer two formats for the more matches instead of having test matches which are not helpful in any conditions specially in finances these are not helpful for the small boards so they need to work out on this and try to have things which helps them for having more finances and better entertainment.

In recent series, we have the good number of fans in both formats and most chances we will have empty stadiums in test matches because we all know both are lack of quality and technique which is important and peoples are also not able to watch this in grounds due to economic situation in these poor countries.

The big question that arises is how do we keep yourself interested during a long cricket match? This question becomes even more harder to answer if the teams are not so big and popular enough.

According to me, we can entertain ourselves by enjoying the match and seeing our favourite players perform which makes you happier but sometimes, our favorite players doesn't perform well because it is usual that a player can perform good in all the time no matter if he is GOAT (greatest of all time) and also in T20 both teams had good competition so just to enjoy but also there is a match of Test and ODI where a person have to been bored but if you are enjoying on it then you will never bored with cricket.

There are T20 and ODI matches which are on sided ones and not worth watching but then there are some test matches which are too much entertaining and the real class of cricket can be seen through test matches.

Not everyone finds test matches as fun to watch like oneday or Twenty20 matches. Some people think test cricket is best form of game but it is mostly liked by those who really love cricket. Test cricket is oldest type of cricket and has lot of history but it might not excite all fans. ODI and T20 matches are more exciting because of intense competition between teams Some people like strategy and history of test cricket while others prefer fast action and rivalries of ODI and T20 matches. It all depends on what you like best.

The first Test match of the Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka series has just started. Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and took the fielding decision.

Only two Test matches were held on this pitch in Sylhet. And in two matches, the team that batted first won. Bangladesh were also defeated on this pitch against teams like Zimbabwe. Even then, I don't know why the Bangladesh captain decided to field first.
