In the 2nd inning BAN bowlers did well initially and took 6 wickets for 126 runs, But again, Dhananjaya de Silva and Kamindu Mendis came to rescue their team. An unbeaten partnership of over 150 runs took the game away from Bangladesh. de Silva is playing the captain's inning again, he scored a beautiful hundred. The lead is touching 400 and the chances are that Sri Lanka might declare the inning in the 3rd session today. To win this match, BAN has to play some exceptional cricket, but I think, on this pitch, they might not be able to chase such a huge target in the 4th inning. I mentioned in my previous reply that I can't expect quality cricket from Bangladesh especially after such worst performance and sirilankan don't need to give a 400 around target because it will be proud moment for them to chased just 200 as they can't even chased a 200+ target in first innings, but anyway I am really surprised from the lower middle order batter to scored back to back hundred in two consecutive innings, to be honest it's quite difficult for any tail under to scored when thier most important top order batter got dismissed so I think it's huge achievement itself for this player. Now looking to the scoreboard Bangladesh already lose his five wickets and still they has to chased down 450+ target which is impossible unless any miracle happened.

In this match, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka both deserved to win because in the first innings, Bangladesh made a very good effort in bowling to restrict Srilanka to 280 runs but their batsmen failed to do a good performance which may have the chance of their winning in both innings. Their batsmen played in a very bad way in both innings which was indeed a very poor batting performance. A team who is out at 188 and 182 runs in both innings, you don't expect them to win in a test match. 
Luckily for the Bangladesh, they did not face an innings loss because they way they batted poorly, they may have been defeated with an even bigger margin.

After having impressive performance against New Zealand in last home test series expectations were high from them, but they have done shameful performance in this first test match and having humiliating defeat which is surely needed to bring new below for them because in both innings they completely fail to have any impact which is surely big decline into their batting strength their quality players are out which mean they need to act quickly for having some better things which increase their confidence and performance level.

In first inning, Tajul have some resistance but then in second inning we have only Momin ul Haq with no support for these in both innings bring huge disaster and huge below for the Bangladesh test format because now many are feeling ICC needs to revoke their test status which is best for the game quality because we have no high hopes from them for any improvement.

Recently we have few big names out of the test format for Bangladesh which create huge gape and now things are going from bad to worse for them which is not good because with this result now we have clearly indications Bangladesh cricket is going to face new bellows in test format due to lack of quality and technique which is important in this format if they want to keep alive themselves.

Sri Lanka which is also not good side in this format bowled out Bangladesh in 100 overs and take 20 wickets which is giving all view about their batting quality and future in this format even Sri Lankan batting were also not good but still their players able to manage 4 centuries which give them huge win and lead in this series with most chances we will have 2–0 end of this series for them after watching both team's performance in this test match.

Well to be honest Bangladesh has alot potential to perform at such stage but I think something wrong is going on with them may they are tired or some wrong instructions or tactics or may be wrong squad selection. Anyway they should work hard on thier weak zone because soon they will play upcoming T20 World and if they carry on with such weak Line up then I am sure they will not even won a single match against top side, if we have a look at thier current match scoreboard which is quite worst just because we have seen alot single figure score and even alot duck which is quite disappointed as none of their player has shown responsibility to took inning make decent contribution through partnership in order to put his team out of trouble situation.

Finally Sri Lanka Won the 1st Test Match against Bangladesh with huge runs difference. 1st inngins was okey but when Sri Lanka was continuously collecting runs as they did 418 runs, that time i felt that Bangladesh is going to lost badly cause their performance wasn't good enough in 1st inngins and there were many new face for test, that makes me wonder. And so was happened. Bangladesh lost badly. I like the wasy how  Kamindu Mendis and Dhananjaya de Silva made their dounle century in 1st and 2nd inngins. They are really great players
