Recovering from 26/6 to win the match convincingly is something, no team recovers from such a position (I remember our 36 all out lol). If Pakistan had drawn the series then 1st test win would've been declared a fluke by many but making it 2-0 gives it a completely different meaning.

I was just wondering where these two team stands in ICC World Test Championship 2023/25 after the Bangladesh 2-0 win in this series. To everyone's surprise, Bangladesh has moved up to the 4th position on the points table. We have India, Australia and New Zealand above them and England is at the number 5th position.

I am not saying that Bangladesh will retain it or move upwards on this table, but getting a 4th place for some part is an achievement in itself.

But for this test series, curators prepared tracks that offered no support for the pace bowlers. It was a very stupid decision, and the Bangladesh spinners (especially Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan) made the maximum use out of it. Anyway, Pakistan will be pushed down the points table in the ICC World Test Championship 2023/25, and they can only blame themselves for that.
