But in the last match, Sri Lanka's batting and bowling both had a great balance, that's why Sri Lanka managed to win the third match.

I always feel happy when Sri Lanka wins. let's be honest, SL really performed well in their third Test match. In this match, they were much more confident after bowling England out for a low score in their second innings and showed strong batting while chasing 219 runs. Congratulations, Sri Lanka!

Bangladesh cricket team will be under security threats at Kanpur, where the 2nd test is scheduled to be played. The Hindu Mahasbaha has threatened to protest against the visiting team in Kanpur over violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. But the irony is that they are killing Hindus at the border, and two more were killed in the last ten days, and both are Hindus. So, what are you protesting for? We are unsure if the 2nd test will be played on Kanpur. Hopefully the Indian government will provide high security to the cricket team of Bangladesh and the visitors who are going India to watch the matches.

BCCI  taking Bangladesh seriously and going with a full strength squad.

India has announced their squad of 16 players that will face Bangladesh. For sure, this series wins by the Indian team as they have been played in 2024 won the World Cup, losing to the Zimbabwe but that was their B team, also lost to Sri Lanka but still they have the good squad for this series and they are confident to play this game.

you know, this is Sri Lankan's first Test win in England in more than a decade, Sri Lanka actually made a very good comeback in this match.

There is an unwritten rule in test cricket. that is you have to get your opponent all out cheaply once . And Sri Lanka was able to do that in this test match. 

It was also a very bad collapse from The Poms as well.
In both the second inning, The Poms were basically unable to do anything.

And Sri Lanka also played really well in their second inning. It was Nissanka who able to score an unbelievable century. He countered the English attack from every corner and his unbeaten 127 basically carried Sri Lanka to the wind almost by himself.

Pathum Nissanka has shown the most interesting performance in today's match. He is Man of the Match because of his amazing batting. I really appreciate thier aggression and they way out of no where they make a comeback. SiriLankan were going complete off road throughout the series but now finally they make it toward their right destination and just like we expect they will easily chased it out they done exactly same with a huge contribution role by thier oppner nissanka because he calmy played a very vital and long innings and make the situation right for his team in critical journey where they can turn the white wash series into 2-0 defeat.

After completing a great test series against Pakistan, Team Bangladesh is all set to start their next journey in the Test Championship. Bangladesh's next mission is to win the series against India. This will not happen in Indian cricket though it is really due to the political rivalry between the two countries but I don't think it will affect the cricket like that. We know India cricket is very popular and most people in their country love cricket very much so I don't think security of Bangladeshi players will be less in Kanpur, India. Yes but some such compromise between the two countries would definitely be good.  Especially border killing has become a national issue in our Bangladesh.  So it is very important to solve it on the basis of agreement between the two countries.

They should enjoy this but it won't be justice to their exciting talent and fans if they start losing 10 matches on the trot. Win in the away series will always rank higher but building enough power at home is important as well because that's where you test your future talent.

England batted very well in the first innings against Sri Lanka which gave Sri Lanka a first lead of 325 runs. Sri Lanka was put under a lot of pressure after losing wickets at the start of England's lead of 325 runs, but Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis and Dhananjaya de Silva batted responsibly for Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan team could not bat that well in the first innings and were all out for just 263 runs in the lead of 325 runs given by England. In the first innings, it seemed like the game was in England's favor but in the second innings, the bowlers of the Sri Lankan team bowled very aggressively from the start, due to which the England team was under a lot of pressure after losing wickets in the beginning. I am still in shock at how can they played so brilliantly when they have quite a horrible history in his recent matches but in my view England got a bit lazy or they underestimated them because they already won the previous two matches back to back and were almost about to win that last match according to their first inning performance. The main and important role has been played by the bowling side of SiriLankan and that becomes the turning point for SiriLanka to be at least in the game despite losing previous matches. Nisaanka was really impressive and calm during the chase because he knew he could single handedly and he does.

I am still in shock at how can they played so brilliantly when they have quite a horrible history in his recent matches but in my view England got a bit lazy or they underestimated them because they already won the previous two matches back to back and were almost about to win that last match according to their first inning performance. The main and important role has been played by the bowling side of SiriLankan and that becomes the turning point for SiriLanka to be at least in the game despite losing previous matches. Nisaanka was really impressive and calm during the chase because he knew he could single handedly and he does.

I have to say that Sri Lanka vs England series was not enjoyable at all. Sri Lanka's performance was absolutely bad. All 3 pitches used in this series were batting friendly. Watching innings of 400-500 runs in Tests on batting friendly grounds becomes enjoyable for cricket lovers. But we have seen only one 400+ innings in this series. Where there were 12 batting innings in 3 matches and only one 400+ runs in 12 innings. Not even an innings has reached 500 runs. I think more runs are scored in an ODI series as well.

I have calculated the average runs of 3 matches, in which not a single match has crossed 300 runs average. 1st match average runs = 281 approx, 2nd match average runs = 292 approx, 3rd match average runs = 241 approx. How can a cricket lover enjoy a test match if the average run in a test match is like this that too on a batting friendly pitch? I was more optimistic about the England team, I thought they would give at least one 500-run innings. But they completely fail to do so. Have to say India ODI World Cup 2023 has seen more innings and if the average runs for the entire World Cup are calculated we will see a 250+ average. The 2018 England ODI World Cup will also have a much higher run average.

Sri Lanka's performance was very bad, England's performance is not good. They try to play marcut innings in test cricket too which is not the beauty of test cricket. England is ruining the beauty of Test cricket. I wouldn't have said this if they had played an innings at Marcutt and collected big. It would have been very enjoyable for cricket lovers. But I am not at all happy with the way England played the Test match but rather disappointed. I think England should play Test cricket like Tests, not like ODIs or T20s.

Well, England has completely surprised me with their batting collapse. I wasn't prepared to see this kind of result. Sri Lankan bowlers did a great job in the second innings, but the credit goes to their top order batsmen. I was still expecting England to win the match after their second innings, but the top order batsmen of Sri Lanka have batted with confidence and got the victory easily.

England team were batting first. As they lost the toss Sri Lanka chose to bowl first, but I thought it maybe wrong on that time due to the pitch report. As the Oval ground pitch supports for the team who bat first as well but they chose to bowl. But later, in the first innings, I thought they have really done bad decision but at that time, I don’t have predicted the second innings. In the second innings, Sri Lanka smashed the ball as their batsmen were hitting the balls . Finally, Sri Lanka has won the game after struggling in many previous matches. They showed their class in this test match and surprised a lot of people.
