Runs are coming way too easily and I don't want to jinx it again but it seems Sri Lanka has a real chance to knock this out if they get on with a couple of good partnerships.

It's a Duke ball and after covid, its quality has gone down the drain so there is a possibility that England might try to change it after 25 overs or maybe early if SL's opener keeps smacking them.

By the way, it is not going to affect who will win the series. England has already been able to win the series. It is just a chance for Sri Lanka to salvage something from this series. And I hope they will be able to do that.

I just do not know why these small teams usually wins that last match of the series when they have already lost the series. Maybe the stronger team, England in this case, do not take the match seriously as they already have won the series. I think this scenario will come in play in this match too and no one can stop Sri Lanka from winning this test.

No one thought the England batting will collapse on only 156. If we see their batting, no one tried to stay on the wicket. When they knew that the wickets are falling quickly, we needed some responsibility batting from Ollie Pope, Joe Root , Chris Woakes and others. Only Jamie Smith showed some resistance and made 60+ runs, otherwise England was finding it hard to make 100 runs even.

Srilanka is playing fast here to get the winnings runs quickly. They are taking the right approach to put pressure on England bowlers, not letting them settle and quickly make runs.

It seems like Sri Lanka have actually made a pretty good comeback right now England is all out in the second inning for only 156. Only Jamie Smith was able to play a decent knock of 67. Nobody else actually did anything to talk about. Now Sri Lanka has a target of 218 in front of them. We also have to remember that the third day has not even ended. So Sri Lanka will have a lot of time to chase the target that they have right now.

By the way, it is not going to affect who will win the series. England has already been able to win the series. It is just a chance for Sri Lanka to salvage something from this series. And I hope they will be able to do that.

Sri Lanka now have an easy target. Where they have more than 2 days to chase the target of 219 runs. Now the question is whether Sri Lanka will be able to bring results in their favor? Because they could not play a good batting innings in the first innings. Chasing a target of 326 runs, Sri Lanka were bowled out for just 263 runs. Where the bowlers of the England team bowled very well.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka's batting lineup is questionable. Their team's top order is not in a good position. However, they have experienced players in Angelo Mathews, Kushal Mendis and Dimuth Karunaratne in their top order. They are currently scoring too many runs. Pathum Nishanka is somewhat consistent in the top order but no one is consistent in the top order. Sri Lanka's middle order has been somewhat consistent in the England series, giving them a fighting chance. But they are disappointing. I can't count on Sri Lanka even though they have an easy target to win the 4th match.

Okay, I thought Sri Lanka is done for, but they just got settled Jamie Smith and now England being 140-8, with lead of only 202 runs shows glimmer of hope for SL to avoid whitewash.

What a unexpected and surprising comeback from SiriLankan team out of no where especially when most of fans except their white wash defeat and then thier bowling lineup surprised them by departuring entire england squad to pavilion on just 156 with majestic bowling performance from L.kumara and Fernando. To be honest I wasn't expecting such performance from them as they have very awful history in recent matches.
Anyway now SiriLankan just required 126 runs to win that important and last match of series which probably will safe them from ashamed moments of whitewash. So they have more than two days and plenty of wickets so the only best things they should follow to rotate strike keep wicket in hand and build partnership as much as possible

Oh my god not to mention another important wicket for England Harry Brook got out LBW ie England's fifth wicket fell for 69 runs and the talents won't be able to score much runs at the end.

In the second innings, the England team was struggling and losing their wickets but now Harry Brook has lost his wicket too. He thought the ball comes on the inside he was right, the ball come in and Brook going for the drive but he missed it and the ball hit to his pads, he was not sure it is out or not but in the review, he was out. Now, in his place Chris Woakes has came to bat. Sri Lanka is hurting to England team badly here. England team players want to play long innings but Sri Lanakan bowlers not allow to England's batsmen to settle or to make partnership. I think now England is on the backfoot as they lost 6 wickets on 70 runs.

Excellent bowling by the Sri Lanka team in the second innings. They restricted England to 156 runs English batsman could not save their wickets which created pressure on them. England's team played well in the first innings, but they failed to deliver in the second innings and set a target of only 219 runs, which is not enough to defend the Sri Lanka team on the way to chasing the target. They scored 94 with a loss of the single wicket and day 3 stumps off. I do not think there would be any more surprises in this test match as Sri Lanka now only need 125 more runs and they still have 9 wickets in hand. No team should lose from this strong position. Pathum Nissanka is playing at 53 and he should continue tomorrow to make his hundred. Kusal Mendis  is batting with him on 30 and he is also fully set, although tomorrow they have to start all over again and the first hour may be crucial for the Sri Lanka batsmen to survive their wickets.

To be honest, this match is getting really interesting, and it has caught my attention. Sri Lanka’s bowling has been superb, and the English batters are struggling right now. Sri Lankan bowlers need to bowl them out for under 120 and aim to chase around 180, because anything over 200 on day 4 will be tough, especially since Sri Lanka's batting isn't deep.
Sri Lanka has a real chance here, but usually, they fall short in the end because of the first innings deficit. I just hope they don’t lose hope or miss their chances.

Really I also have same thought about this match, Sri Lanka squad has a good opportunity now to avoid whitewash because their squad already faced two defeats in previous two test matches. In current third test match, this match is still ongoing on Kennington Oval stadium and England squad completely played their both batting Innings and in first inning, their batters batted amazingly and managed 325 scores and their bowlers restricted the batter of Sri Lanka squad at 263 scores and England lead this match with almost 60 scores after both squad played their first inning. But in second inning, England squad disappointed me or also their fans by displaying bad performance with collecting just 156 scores. Are you talking about matches prior to this series? If it's so idk but otherwise in this series's prior two matches these two have done fine job — A. Fernando took 14 wickets in first two matches while L. Kumara was added in squad from second game and he took 5 wickets there.

There is no way to take the Bangladesh team lightly now. We know that Bangladesh team is weak in Test format. And the Bangladeshi squad is very weak compared to the giants like India. But the performance of Bangladeshi players against Pakistan surprised everyone. Bangladesh won the Test series at Pakistan's home. Even in both matches, Bangladesh won by dominating.

India's management experience. At this moment, they will not make the big mistake of taking the Bangladesh team lightly. India will field their best squad considering the pitch conditions. And I think India will win both Test matches against Bangladesh.
