Chandimal(116), Mathews(88), Kamindu Mendis (182), Kushal Mendis(106) and Karunaratne (46) all these players have made sure that Sri Lanka put up a very big score on the total. The biggest surprise was when New Zealand got all out for only 88 in the first innings and in the second inning, they have only been able to score 360. Incredible performance from them and it looks like the test performance from Sri Lanka has significantly improved. It will be interesting to see if they can also show that same level of improvement in other formats of cricket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal played 72 runs outstanding inning by just 51 balls and Virat Kohli scored 47 runs inning from just 35 balls. kl rahul also batting well scored 68 runs from 43 balls. Kamindu Mendis made 182 runs that allow his team to win the game and due to his performance, was named as the player of the match. After seeing the first innings of New Zealand team no one can even say New Zealand would chase this high target. What a win by Sri Lanka. 

Really shocking New Zealand team lost two test games due to poor effort and beated two times. Sri Lanka team won two game back to back by beating good team New Zealand team. New Zealand team is not a such kind of low level team and they have good experience players in their team but they performed poor in test series and lost already two games. In 2 nd test game, Sri Lanka made 602 runs in 1 st lineup and this runs were enough to New Zealand team in entire game and they did not chase it. In 1 st line of new New Zealand, their batsman chased 88 runs only and in 2 nd line, they showed some better effort and made 360 runs but they did not chase runs of Sri Lanka team. Sri Lanka again won the game by big margin 154 runs and Mendis batsman he got a player of game award because he played quite well in batting and he scored 182 runs in 250 runs and hitted sixteen 4s and four 6s. Winning credit also goes to other players like Dinesh, Kusal, Prabath and Neiris. Prabath showed brilliant effort in bowling and he took down 6 wickets in 1 st line and Neiris dismissed 6 wickets in 2 line. Overall Sri Lanka team performed brilliant in test series and new Zealand need more tough struggle to beat Sri Lanka team.

Day 4 of this test match India against Bangladesh squad and these squads already played one test match previously in this test match Indian squad beated Bangladesh team very badly but Bangladesh squad performance in this test competition against Pakistan squad was super amazing and they made a record by defeating Pakistan squad two times. If you want to see what kind of politics is played between the State Association and BCCI then IND vs BAN is a fine example and one of the major reasons Test matches hardly bring audience to the Stadium.

Management and senior players were against playing at the venue as it was not fit to host a test match but BCCI couldn't do anything because there is retarded rule of "Rotation Policy" and UPCA has the blessing of Rajiv Sukla.

Need serious reform on the rotation policy and test matches must be restricted to only 6-10 Stadiums only.

A single day of rain washout means millions of USD in losses for the media rights holders. Viacom purchased the media rights for Indian home matches (September 2023 – March 2028), for a total of ₹5,963 crores. Given the fact that there are around 30-40 days of play by the Indian team at home, that translates to around $5 million per day. Who will compensate Viacom for the loss of revenue? Ideally the UPCA should be asked to reimburse this amount, as they are the main culprits here.
