If this how India plans to play the ODI's then this series will be a whitewash. Good come back and brilliantly played by Newzealand. Today's match shows not only they are good in batting but they have very good bowlers.

This is pay back time for India, New Zealand is playing like ODI world champions even though they got completely dominated in the T20 and they should worry about the upcoming world cup with performance like these but it is great to see that New Zealand dominated India completely in the ODI series and it would be great if they white wash India as a revenge for their loss in T20.

Definitely India is more stronger team along with inform batsmen but India decided to try this series with newbie players to get some expereince but it doesn't go well as expected.Kohli need to control aggression and need to hold his wicket for other players to play well.

Saini and Jadeja played really well,am glad that I had chance to watch that match on television.Both team has weaker middle order batsmen which should be resolved sooner for better results in the future.

Happy that the loss was of 22 runs instead of 143 runs when Iyer got out. Jadeja proved to be the best batsmen and bowler today when the top order failed completely and still got the highest runs in the match (more than even Iyer) plus took 1 wicket. We are missing allrounders like Jadeja who are good with the bat and ball. Saini surprised me getting 45 runs with an SR of 91. So it's just not Rohit but the entire team that needs to rethink why they can't perform as a team.

A loss is a loss, irrespective of the winning margin. Jadeja batted well, but he was unable to guide India towards a victory. Even if they win the final match, the series is lost and this is going to have a serious impact on the ODI rankings. Right now India is at the second position, behind England (with 119 points). With these two defeats, the gap between England and India has widened.

I am agreeing with what you said but, controlling someone who is naturally aggressive would mean ending what he is known for and the reason for him to be the best.

I am agreeing with what you said but, controlling someone who is naturally aggressive would mean ending what he is known for and the reason for him to be the best.

I think it is good for the team as the captain is aggressive.

I didn't say he should play with his natural aggression on every game but he should evolve from being aggression and how to get control over the game while being in aggression if he like to play with same mind of mindset.

I do not think captaincy is a issue here. Kohli is capable of captaining in all the tree formats, it is the newbie in the team that are not consistent enough. People do not get chance to play for India and those who get do not value it.

Highly rated Prithvi Shaw is a big failure in one day format,  he might be good to play for the test.

I don't agree with this. IMO, it is better to have Virat Kohli as the captain for all the three formats. If they have three different captains, then once again the players will be divided in to different camps, just like the case we had a few years back. Then, the players were divided in to two camps - one lead by Virat Kohli and the other led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. I don't want a repeat of this.

India would like to put up a good total on this pitch and then batting second itself in this tensed final will put some added pressure on Bangladesh. Looks like its rainy season in South Africa, yesterday's games, ENG Vs SA and U19 match WI Vs AUS were also abandoned because of rain. Let's hope that tomorrow's Under 19 Worldcup finals don't get cancelled.

Don't they have a reverse day for the final ? If the final is washout who will get the trophee or will it be shared between Bangladesh and NewZealand ? Lets hope the final of World cup is not rain effected.

U19 team generally has newer players every four years so the teams are quite new to each other. Bangladesh in the tournament has an impressive strike rate compared to the the Indian team and it looks like Bangladesh would have a clear advantage if they chase a small target here. Though the match can turn anyside as India still has many batsmen to spare.

Thanks for some light up. After 21 overs the run rate for India is only 3.14 which is not a very good rate comparing to the modern cricket but from the match situation it's clear that India is not taking risk to lose wickets and so far they are doing well. May be we will see some hits after 30 overs to give a target of at least over 280 runs or so.

Indian team newbie Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shah are still struggling to get set in the batting order. Last ODI if these two guys are not able to perform then I doubt they will get another chance in the near future.

Mayank did well in Test matches, so he'll get a few more chances in future. But Prithvi Shaw should be given a few more chances and I believe that BCCI will give him a few more chances because this isn't his home ground. Most players have trouble while playing in away grounds.

Rain's can came without any invitation or season in last few years we are facing some good rains because of this cricket so its not matter of worry now lets see what happen tomorrow because if this rain came again then surely India will lift the cup without any problem as they are unbeatable team and title holder so Bangladesh fans will be frustrated.

As per this article, there is no reserve day and both teams would share the trophy. The article also claims that thunderstorms are possible, but the weather is sunny as per Google.

India off to very slow start as that are just 93/1 in 27.3 overs. Good thing is that India has 9 wickets in hand and Jaiswal is batting on 50 and if he stays till the end or make century then India could cross 275+ runs and India would like to make maximum runs and put pressure back on Bangladesh.

India in deep trouble as they have lost 6 wickets for a score of just 168 runs in 43 overs. Jaiswal who was playing so well missed his century and got out at 88 runs who was the last hope for India to help them reach some respectable score. Now even reaching 200 runs is a little difficult. Bangladesh would be really happy by far the way they have bowled and kept India under control.

177 is an easy to achieve target. I am not sure what went wrong with the Indian batting line. Bangladesh has displayed  today the best bowling. I also feel that it will be Bangladesh who will win this final if the bat sensibly and do not take any risk.
