LOL.. one defeat against strongest team in the tournament and all of a sudden Australia's chances are down? I don't agree with this assessment. Australia still remains as one of the favorites to lift the trophy and historically they have performed really well in ICC tournaments. Their next match is against South Africa at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, and I am sure that they will bounce back strongly. Almost everyone in the Australian squad have the experience of participating in the IPL. So they are very familiar with the weather and ground conditions. And this is going to help them as the tournament progresses.

Australia have the capability to bounce back in the tournament. Even yesterday they got 3 quick wickets and were right on top but its King Kohli and KL who shattered there desires of winning the game. You expect your bowlers to win a game for you if you have scored 199 batting first.

The New Zealand team is right in their target as the wicket-keeping game is the principle of ODI matches, the run rate is all right. But if New Zealand can continue to play like this, maybe Netherlands can give the team a target of 250-300 plus runs. Netherlands team's bowling performance looks very good but failing to destroy wickets shows the failure. Because so far the New Zealand team's run rate is 5.28, but I can see that from the bowling point of view, the Netherlands have put the New Zealand players under a lot of pressure. But today's match will be full of competition as the current batting pair of Young and Ravindra are showing very good performance in the field of batting.

Maybe you are right. But my faith in New Zealand batsmen is unlimited. Especially over Rachin Ravindra. He is an excellent player. Scored a century in the first match. I think we will see a century from Ravindra in today's match as well. Ravindra able to bat with responsibility. At the same time he bats at a smart strike rate. He is batting responsibly in today's match as well. Young scored more than 60 and Rachin Ravindra scored 23 runs. New Zealand team collected 122 runs in 23 overs. Their run rate is now 5.3. But if this team does not lose any more wickets before 35 overs then they will easily collect more than 120 in the last 115 overs. You are 100% right, no team can win all the matches but losing one match should not be thought as they won't be able to progress in the tournament. Let's suppose India would have lost the first match yesterday, Would we have lost hope that India won't reach the semi finals ?
World Cup does not work that way and still Australia has 8 matches to play and prove them.

So this is really hard to win this match by Netherlands. And I congratulates the New Zealand team in advance. In my previous post I said that if New Zealand will take first turn so they will go above 300 runs and this target will be difficult to chase by Netherlands.
