I am really shocked by the score of today's game a strong team like England lost by a huge margin against Sri Lanka. We know them as one of the most popular and powerful team in England cricket world. But in today's match I thought maybe England will win against Sri Lanka but totally opposite England lost there. England scored 156 runs in 33.2 overs today and lost all wickets, while Sri Lanka scored 160 runs in 24.4 overs to win by a huge margin of 8 wickets. I am actually not that much shocked, I had doubts about this match even yesterday that England can win against Sri Lanka. But it is true that it was not expected that England would lose so miserably against Sri Lanka. I also agree with you that the credit for winning this match goes entirely to the Sri Lankan bowlers. England team batsmen were unable to fight today in front of medium-fast bowlers or whatever you say fast bowler ball all styles of bowling from Sri Lanka.

Exactly they are performing really bad in the ICC world cup. Means really they only able to make 156 runs. In the last World cup their performance was good.

That may be due to the lack of preparations. England warmed up for the world cup with an ODI series against Ireland back home. And one of their world cup warmup matches got washed out. On the other hand, Australia prepared really well and managed an ODI series against India just before the world cup. And the results are out there for everyone to see. Australian batsmen are handling the spinners quite well, and the England batsman are struggling against the spinners. And now the remaining matches doesn't matter because they are already out of contention for the semi-finals.
