The first semi-final in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 will be played today between Haryana and Tamil Nadu. Haryana has been the surprise package this year, and they defeated Bengal during the quarter-finals. They have some excellent players such as Rahul Tewatia, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel. On the other hand, Baba Indrajith and Baba Aparajith has been in excellent form for Tamil Nadu, along with their bowlers such as Manimaran Siddharth and Varun Chakravarthy. For today's match, I would say that the advantage is with Tamil Nadu.

New Zealand Women's team batted first and set a huge target of 365 runs to Pakistan Women's team. New Zealand Women's team batted very well to collect 365 runs with the loss of only 4 wickets. New Zealand's first four batsmen played brilliantly as New Zealand scored 365. Bates scored 108 off 104 balls. Batting against the target of 366 runs set by the New Zealand women's team, the Pakistan women's team had a good start. But after the two batsmen out of the opener, the Pakistan women's team did not bat that well. Pakistan women's team was all out for just 231 runs. New Zealand team won by a huge margin of 131 runs Congratulations to the New Zealand women's team.

 Pakistan's bowling was very poor. If they bowled well, maybe newzealand women would not have scored so many runs. Look at the first four batsmens; All players made fifty. Bates makes brilliant 108 and Bernadine Bezuidenhout and Amelia Kerr was also very close to make centuries but unfortunately not able to complete a ton. I enjoyed Maddy Green batting as completely played different, 70 of just 36 balls in women cricket is very impressive.

Of course Pakistan Women's poor bowling performance can be responsible for New Zealand's high run collection but also the good batting performance of New Zealand Women's team also played a role. That the women's team can set a target of 365 runs in an ODI match is highly commendable as the men's team too rarely shows such a performance. New Zealand women's team won the match by 131 runs against Pakistan which was a huge margin.  Such a performance of the New Zealand women's team is really commendable

Japan and United Arab Emirates are playing their only remaining match at the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup. UAE is now 144/3. They may get to a total of ~350 and get a consolation win today. For Japan, the fact that they are participating in this tournament is a big plus. And unlike the case with UAE, Japan had 4-5 native players in their squad (although the majority were either British or Indian). Even that is much better when compared to the UAE, who had their last native player representing the team sometime in the 1990s.

Zimbabwe is in trouble after getting 4 wickets lost in 81 runs they need a good partnership to build inning and give a respectable total 250 plus runs for Ireland.

Today, the Bangladesh Under 19 team will play against Sri Lanka Under 19 team. In this match, I consider the Bangladesh Under-19 team as my favourite. Bangladesh U19 team has several talented players. And the Bangladesh team won in 2 matches of the group stage. Bangladesh won by 61 runs against UAE and Bangladesh won by 9 wickets against Japan.

I don't think the Sri Lanka U19 team is very strong. I watched the match of UAE-19 vs Sri Lanka-19 team. Sri Lanka set a target of just 221 runs. And UAE team won the match. Sri Lanka's batting order is relatively weak. Bangladesh's Under 19 team will probably win today's match.

Bangladeshi U19 cricket team is improving their performance. So they have more chances to win but this is cricket. Any team can win match and the team will who will play good. It doesn't matter the favorite team will win match. If Sri Lankan U19 cricket team played excellent they can lose Bangladeshi U19 cricket team by a big margin. Just a few days ago, in between Zimbabwe squad and Ireland squad T20 competition finished already with Zimbabwe squad win this competition by two matches. Now, ODI competition has begun between both these squads and today first match of this competition was playing on crease but sadly, this match was delay due to rain. Zimbabwe sqaud first came on crease started this match by batting inning and they already completed their half batting inning mean playing 25 overs and they collected 121 scores and which seems that this scores was not good in 25 overs and also they lost their six batters. If this match will continue then Zimbabwe sqaud collect almost 220 scores and below.

In return to UAE's score of 320/7, Japan are 140/4 after 39 overs. They are going to lose this match, but this time they have put up a decent performance. Obviously UAE is not one of the strongest teams, but they have a lot of players from India and Pakistan. And after suffering heavy defeats in the first two matches, the outcome is somewhat "encouraging" for the Japan U-19 team.

I don't specifically support any of these two teams in the game of cricket but only for today's match I support Ireland.  Because I can predict that Ireland's performance is much better than Zimbabwe's. A target of less than 300 runs in an ODI becomes a very weak target.  There Zimbabwe lost 6 wickets for 121 runs which means they will not be able to cross 200 runs in today's match.  And if the target is less than 200 runs, Ireland can win the match by crossing it. So I think the chances of Ireland winning today's match are very high

UAE19 gave a huge target to the JPN19 team. If we took a look on the UAE team batting line so we will see that the three players were good in batting. Dhruv Parashar Maroof Merchant And Aayan Afzal Khan. I really appreciate the batting of Aayan Afzal Khan he was playing really well he made 67 runs and hit 3 sixes. And important thing is that he remained not out in this match. Overall the UAE19 made 320 runs. Which I think was a good target for JPN19 team. And fortunately the Japan team didn't chase the target and UAE won the match.

Today was the match of Zimbabwe vs Ireland, but I think we cannot see that because the heavy rain came on the ground during the match so then they needed to stop and they stopped it, but we want to see this match because both series between them held after such a long time but weather doesn't want to see smiles on our faces and then they starting rain and match stopped, but maybe the match will continue after few time because the match is delayed not stopped, but I think that we can't see this match.

UAEU19 is actually a good team that were able to defeat Sri lanka U19 and reach the semi finals of the trophy though they might not stand a chance against India.
Sri Lankan junior team performed really bad and had a bad luck getting defeated from UAE. If it were a longer league. Things would have been different.
Japan is like a filler team to complete the set rather than an equal competitor. UAE's team is more comparable to that of Afghanistan and Nepal.
The semi that matters the most is Bangladesh vs Pakistan.

LOL.. Nepal has crawled to 52 against India at the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup. None of the batsmen could score in double digits and top-scorer was Hemant Dhami with 8 runs. Nepal had posted three digit totals against Pakistan and Afghanistan, so this match was a bit disappointing for them. Anyway, they should be proud that they managed to qualify for this tournament. Raj Limbani returned figures of 9.1-3-13-7 for India. India is already above Afghanistan in terms of net run rate, so they will easily qualify for the semi-finals after this match.

@Sithara007 I wasn’t expecting much from Nepal but this was a very poor performance and something the player’s won’t be proud off and I hope that they’ll work hard for future matches. Also team India definitely performed very well and who knows some of these player’s could go on to play in main Indian team in coming year’s as even Kohli was discovered when he used to play in the under 19s.

India won the match against Nepal with a huge and unbelievable performance. They completed the target in just seven overs, and they won by 10 wickets, and this match was played yesterday, and the Indian team had a great victory, only openers ended the game, and this victory led the Indian team to the Semi Final of this U19 Asia Cup.

India just lose their one match against Pakistan and when the Indian U19 team lose against Pakistan so that was such an embarrassing moment for them because they told before the match that their team could do anything, they can easily beat Pakistan that match but Pakistan team won.

Anyways there could be still a situation where Pakistan team can meet the India U19 team and believe me seeing them in the knockout of the matches, will be fun to watch.

Zimbabwe team batting performance was very good opening, but 6 batsmen out of them. As one of the 6 batsmen failed to score a half-century, the highest score of 28 was scored by the three batsmen basically the batsmen were dismissed. The Zimbabwean team is under a lot of wicket pressure as they mustered only 121 runs for six wickets in 25 overs. Meanwhile, if wickets continue to fall like this, the Zimbabwean team will not be able to complete 200 runs. Ireland team is the best in terms of bowling performance so if they can protect the wickets and stay in the field then they will surely win. Currently the match has been postponed due to rain.
