Big scores from two players played a key role in winning the match for Sri Lanka. After the fall of 3 wickets Pathum Nissanka gave a big innings scoring 114 off 113 balls and the other batsman was Charith Asalanka who returned with 91 runs. These two almost took the team to the brink of victory and returned. If Bangladesh team could have removed these two batsmen earlier, Bangladesh might have had a chance. But they took a long time to do that. Because we saw that Sri Lanka lost 7 wickets like Bangladesh. Both are now level in the series so we will be able to witness a more competitive game in the final match between the two teams.

People have to understand that Bangladesh actually never lost on that ground when they had given a target of anything above 280.
So the Sri Lankan players did really well to actually chase down the target successfully.
But at the same time, you know, Nissanka and Asalanka who delivered a huge total for Sri Lanka should left the pitch very early, Bangladesh missed 2 catches. One catch was missed by Miraz, and the other was missed by Litton in the sleep position.
So I actually think Bangladesh has only themselves to blame for the loss. And I agree with you if they did not miss those two catches and were able to drop those two Sri Lankan superheroes early then the result would be otherwise.

I also seriously think that Bangladesh should do something about Litton Das not being able to play well at all and having consecutive DUCKS.
I think he needs to be rested and maybe it is time to give Anamul a chance.
Or maybe even play Miraz as an opener?

I agree with you that Bangladeshi openers need to do better and it seems like they are already taking steps to do that.
They have dropped Litton Das who has been struggling recently and added Jaker Ali Anik to their team.

Now what I am more curious about is their team combination.
Soumya will be their first opener. As for their second opener, there are 3 possible players.
First is Anamul Haque Bijoy, second is Tanzim Tamim and third is Mehedi Miraz.

I am curious if Jaker would get his position in the XI as well.
There is a chance that Taijul might get dropped and Jaker Ali will replace him.

But then there will be a lack of left-hand spinner. When Shakib Al Hasan usually plays, they never had to worry about this stuff, Shakib would have covered both the left-hand spinner space and batting space single handedly.

Yes you are right Sri Lanka played really well in the Second ODI match especially I really appreciate batting of Pathum Nissanka he played really well in this match. His century helped Sri Lanka to win match and tie series. But I also believe Bangladesh can do better in next match and maybe win series. It will be interesting to see which team wins final match. Because the bowling was worse than the batting of Bangladesh in the second ODI match due to which Bangladesh could not win the second ODI match. This is because authority thought that, Liton Das would do well but liton das can't do well. He continuesly got out with duck🦆🦆 for two time. Even in T20 matches, he got out with zero run one time and score was lower in rest of t20 matches. So its good to judge again and chief selector of course should select more deserving player to ensure the trophy. Bangladesh has a lot of young batsmen. But they are not getting enough opportunities. So now that Liton is not in good form, he has not been able to perform well for a long time, so now young players should be given a chance. Liton has been given plenty of time by BCB. But we didn't see any improvement in Liton's performance. Liton's performance deteriorated day by day. Perhaps Liton lacks confidence. This is why he is not playing well.

Remember him from the second T20 match? He almost successfully took Bangladesh to the winning line. I am really looking forward to seeing him perform if Bangladesh actually have made that change. The top order of Bangladesh has been suffering and I hope that will actually change. But in my opinion,a Soumya also has to go unless he can perform consistently. ^^^ I am not sure whether Litton Kumer Das will be dropped. His form during the recent few matches have been poor, but overall he has been one of the better performing Bangladeshi batsmen. BTW, Dilshan Madushanka will be unavailable for today's match since he's suffering from a hamstring injury. Either pacer Chamika Karunaratne or the spinner Maheesh Theekshana will be replacing him. Either way, it is good news for Bangladesh. And latest news is that Sri Lanka has elected to bat, after winning the toss.

Liton Das is a classic batsman as we know but he has been suffering from inconsistency recently. His performance in BPL was not good at all and after BPL he failed completely in the first three T20 matches against Sri Lanka even though he was given a chance in the ODI series but he managed to bowl only three balls in the first 2 ODI matches. We can well understand that Liton Das has a clear weakness in batting with the new ball. Since he has considerable weakness in batting with the new ball, the management may try to make him bat in some other position instead of batting in the opening position. 

The main point is that Liton Das should return to the consistency of doing one match well and the remaining ten matches being bad, it is unfair to the team.
