For the game 6, it is very dangeours to bet   -8.5 for SMB. I know it will end  tonight but  to cover the -8.5 is too risky.

If you haven’t placed your bet yet, you can still get the line at -5.5, and I think that’s the best value we’ll get. SMB’s gonna finish the job tonight.. no Game 7. If they win, let’s just hope they cover the spread. I don’t see it being rigged in TNT’s favor this time. But if somehow SMB loses, I’m done betting on Game 7. It won’t be fun anymore at that point.

I did bet for the SMB but i just made a wise decision after the 1st Q I pun some amount with the SMB.


This 3rd Quarter I bet again for SMB with -2.5 and - 1.5, now SMD is in a good  run.

I forgot to place a bet today, San Miguel is already leading now in the 3rd quarter. I was really expecting the San Miguel Beermen will win in Game 5, but unfortunately, I forgot that tonight is their game.

Local bookie is worst compared to the bookie here in crypto. I already tried betting on Arenaplus, Okbet and many more that you can see on Gcash but the odds is low compared to crypto bookies.

Bonus of local bookie too is just peanuts so it’s not really worth it unless you want quick bet using fiat then it’s fine.

But if you are playing long time then choose crypto bookies. Better odds and rewards.

No more games, SMB just sealed the championship. They covered the spread, total went over, and it was all SMB tonight. They didn’t leave any room for TNT to mount a comeback. TNT clearly relied too much on their outside shooting, while SMB used JMF to dominate the paint and control the tempo.

No official date yet for the next tip-off, but it’ll probably be the import-laden conference next ,and we’ll likely see RHJ and Brownlee return to their squads. Hopefully SMB can still hold their ground when that time comes.

SMB did not give any hope for TNT to rally back, like you said they controlled the tempo by using the dominance of JMF while Cruz went wild with that back to back 3 points and with a plus 1, I like how SMB coaches play their cards very balance with both offense and defense, they managed to slow TNTs attempt to comeback, I love the focus and the confidence that SMB showcase taking the title today..

I stopped watching after SMB secured the win, so I was surprised to hear that Cruz won the Finals MVP.
Not that I disagree,  I’m just surprised. but thinking about it, he really did play great.

He was like the energizer of the team, always moving, always contributing. So I’d say he deserves it.

FIBA Asia qualifiers will be happening next week starting the 5th of August until the 11th, so I'm pretty sure that the Commissioner's Cup will be at the 3rd or last week of August unless PBA will do what they are doing in the past where they will immediately start a week after a tournament, but the only teams that will be playing are those teams that doesn't have any player that played for the Gilas Pilipinas.

As for SMB, they aren't that bad in an import-laden conference as well. It's just that, we've seen TNT and Ginebra facing together for quite some time whenever there's an import. At the end of the day, it will all comes to the import that SMB will be getting, and I just hope that they'll follow what Ginebra and TNT did where they just have a resident import where they can play on their team during the Commissioner's Cup and Governor's Cup.

He was definitely one of the key reasons for that win, his 3 pt. shooting has improved a lot, and you can really see how confident he is now. I think his aggressiveness on the court got under TNT’s skin, which made them lose focus at times. that whole series was very physical, but what surprised me the most was the over/under totals… most of the games actually went over.

Jericho might not end up as a Hall of Famer, but this achievement will definitely fuel him to keep playing with the same level of intensity in the upcoming conferences.

He really needs to, because if he plans to retire soon, at least he’ll go out with more championships... He’s already 34, so he’s clearly entering the twilight of his career. And honestly, as long as he stays with SMB, there’s a strong chance they’ll keep winning titles, mainly because they still have The Kraken leading the team.

By the way, I just checked Jericho Cruz’s profile on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jericho_Cruz., and it says he’s only 6'1".. kinda hard to believe, right?

Although this is just a warm-up game, it’s still nice to watch Gilas in action while we wait for the PBA to return. These kinds of friendly games are important too, especially as preparation for the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup, they help build chemistry and test rotations.

I believe we are already in good hands with the current roster and coaching staff since this is just a FIBA Asia cup which most of the team here is we already beat on previous matches.

What I’m looking forward to see on an exhibition game is when Gilas is against on any Euro team since their games is the one that we need to beat in able to get a higher spot on Olympics.

With many players already playing on other Asian country basketball league. I think the current roster is already well prepared to dominate Asia division.

Though they won against New Zealand last time but i think New Zealand will come prepared for the Gilas this time.
