TNT finally got a win, and it came at the expense of NLEX.

NLEX was leading for most of the game, but that fourth quarter run by TNT was really strong. That three point shot by BGR gave them their first lead, and from there they kept making good plays. I honestly thought it was already over and my bet would hit, but Bolick hit that four point play.

Good thing it was called a Flagrant 1, TNT converted the two free throws, kept possession, then added more points from the next play. In the end they won by 7, spread covered.

I also won my bet on that game but i'm not satisfied with the performance of Bol Bol, though he scored 40 big points but i observed that he easily get tired and it seems that he is not used in playing heavy minutes in a game so this will be a disadvantage on him. Also, he kept on shooting in the perimeter where he has a low percentage on that area, why not drive it to the basket? Is Bol Bol just hype or he will improve on their next games, this is the question that will be answered in the future but personally i would not bet much on them specially if the opponent is strong.

I think he’s just trying to get familiar with the PBA. He wouldn’t have made it to the NBA if he didn’t have talent. We also know he’s not perfect, on defense he’s not that effective yet, mainly because he’s still thin, so that’s something TNT needs to work on.

That's a good question, with how Blackwater's import is playing it will be a big test for Bol Bolt as expectations from the fans really high out from him, with an NBA experience he should dominate but that's not what we are witnessing right now, TNT needs to work on him and provide a good system to support him both in defense and offense to increase their chances to win against competitive team that expected to challenge him.

Per multiple sources, the South Sudanese Olympian has sent text messages to teammates where he told him he “was gone.”

Omot’s dismissal comes after Magnolia coach LA Tenorio told reporters on Sunday night that the import was “not the problem.”

No, I think the problem is that they can’t defend a big import in the paint.
Laput was easily pushed around by Upshaw, the import of Blackwater, so it looks like they want someone bigger to handle that inside presence.

But at the same time, their offense isn’t really that strong either, so changing the import is still a gamble. Especially since teams are usually allowed to change imports only once, so they really need to get it right.

SMB is trying to get a win here. They were down by 8 points in the first half, but now they’re starting to come back against Converge.

What do you think about this game? For me, I think SMB might continue to struggle early, and Converge could take this one since I believe they have the better import.
I wasn’t able to place my bet on this game, but right now SMB is at +1.5 live. Pretty sure a lot of SMB backers will grab that line without hesitation.

They’re at risk of getting eliminated early if they don’t start winning soon. right now they’re sitting at the bottom with a 0-3 record, tied with the guest team (https://pba.ph/standings)
Not sure if it’s just the import issue or something deeper with the team, but they really need to turn things around fast

Ginkings came short, It was about Brownlee again in the 4th Quarter and the supporting player came short. I thought Ginebra will win with the 6 points lead with more than 2 mins on the clock.

1st game with ROS and Meralco, I though Meralco will get the comeback as they tied the scores and the ROS was importless team due to 1 game suspension.
But coach Yeng and his players showed the Araneta that they are a strong team even with out their import.  they are now 3-0.

Tomorrow we will have  2 teams with 0-3 at the first game with Magnolia and Macau.
The clash of the Giant with our local big man Fajardo and SMB (1-1) will face TNT(1-1) and BOLBOL at 2nd game.

Sometimes, the chemistry just doesn't work between the import and other players thus, losing streak happens, and we know that this isn't new when it comes to conferences that has imports like what we have right now.

Looking at the standings, I'm also leaning towards the fact that Converge might also change their import if they will not wins. I mean they're 1-3 right now, and with how star-studded their team is right now, it seems like their performance as a whole isn't what many are expecting. They have a good roster and probably way better than most teams out there. I wonder if their import has a problem as well but going back to Magnolia, it's good that they changed their import already so they can try and at least get a spot on the playoffs. The guest team hasn't won a game as well, so I wonder how this will affect them in their future games.

Bolick is really better this season.. i think even better than CJ.. if he will get traded to SMB, the team will be unbeatable.

Yeah, looks like there’s no chance anymore, this one is already for TNT and SMB is going to take their second loss. It’s not really new for them though, even in their previous wins they weren’t dominating and were actually struggling early until they figured things out and went on a win streak to get a better standing.

So with this loss, I’m not that worried yet, it’s still early and they can figure out how to improve and bounce back, of course starting with replacing their current import since TNT is really a serious threat right now.

Magnolia needs serious adjustments to their system, coach LA needs to check and balance his entire squad, with how they are performing right now there's a big question mark if how they'll going to win their games, without good chemistries and with an import who can't blend himself to the system there are so many things that they need to adjust and they need to act fast since they are being outperformed by the teams who they easily beaten before.

He's still trying to adjust but with the game that has happened tonight, he's very welcoming and has got into interview and presscon. Got together with the fans and have some picture taking. I've read an article that the commissioner's office reprimand Bol2 on his action on their win against NLEX where he refused to be interviewed after the game so i think his actions now is the result of that reprimand from the commissioner. But i agree with you, fans should not be to harsh on Bol2 as the culture from where he came from is very different and there are even reports that Bol2 is an introvert, that might be the reason he is avoiding interviews.

Two games today but i've got my focus the second game between Converge vs Ginebra. Converge is on a losing streak despite the addition of Mikey Williams on their lineup but they have the advantage on size against the Gin Kings. Not an easy pick but i'll pick Converge to end their losing streak tonight.

I think that’s a good choice since they have an import who can really dominate inside, and this Converge team, even though young, is stacked with talent. I think after their last loss, it’s time for them to bounce back.

They’re currently leading in the first half, so hopefully they can carry that momentum until the end.
