Shooting wasn’t good at the start of the quarter, but TNT still managed to build a double-digit lead. Now the other side is slowly coming back, though. I’m also rooting for TNT to win this game.

This looks impossible now because Converge already took the lead after halftime. TNT’s shooting has been really poor, and their import looks like he’s having a problem because he doesn’t even get back on defense. Maybe they need to give him the ball more so he’ll have the energy and rhythm to play better. And especially in this 3rd quarter, it’s very important that they win it if they want to get back in front, because that’s when we might start seeing an interesting game.

That's what TNT needs to their import unlike with other teams reinforcement where we are seeing a good 2-way players, they are adjusting to how the team play, while Bol just wanted that the team will adjust to him, though for sure Coach Chot loves that type of a runnng attack but the problem with that system if the opponents have that same capabilities and their defense collapse their opponents can easily take a good eadge against it.

Let see on their coming game if how they'll gonna adjust, I saw some clips that after that loss Bol shows frustration hopefully he'll be coming back to play at his best, since it was the expectation when he joined in not just by management but also by the fans who keeps supporting them.

They did beat Macau, and Bol had 37 points, but that was against a weak team that’s probably near the bottom right now, so it’s not really something I’d say proves they’ve already improved. We’ll see in their upcoming games if they can really make a statement with a big win. TNT might not even get a twice-to-beat advantage, if that’s still the format now, because they’ve been too inconsistent, and that’s a problem even for an experienced team.

If their import produces but it still doesn’t translate into better overall team play, then it just means the whole team is still struggling, especially since they’ve already been relying too heavily on Bol.

They’re in the top 5 now, and if they stay there, they won’t get the twice-to-beat advantage. But the rankings are still very close, so we really can’t tell yet. There are still a lot of games left, and based on the schedule, the eliminations run until May 10, so a lot can still change. If the import really adapts, who knows, TNT might still even climb to the top spot.

From what we’ve been seeing though, Bol’s problem is pretty obvious. He’s a very good scorer, but he seems to lack stamina. Bigger imports like Upshaw can move him around easily, and that’s exactly what opponents should keep doing to him. Make him work, tire him out, and his shooting will eventually be affected.

I followed that game a bit because of was so strange. Before the game BW was a around 12-14 point underdog. The when they led but 14 or so they were suddenly a 10 favorite. After SMB completed the comeback and was up 2 points after the 3rd quarter they were a 10 point favorite again and were supposed to win the 4th by 8 points, yet BW came back again and won. These odds really made no sense.

Same again yesterday with BW again, they led 23:3 after like 9 minutes and the odds were even, haha. And in the end this time they proceeded to lose. After 23:3 they finished the first half 42:50, basically a 19:47 run in 15 minutes. So Ginebra made 3 points in 9 minutes and then 47 points in 15 minutes, makes sense.

Those odds were already telling you something. They were trying to manipulate that game, but they failed, and honestly that’s just one of many examples. So now it’s really up to us. If we’re good at reading the odds, we can take advantage of that and win.

I’m glad I wasn’t able to place a bet on that game, otherwise I would’ve lost because BW is just a trash team in the PBA right now. But their import is undeniably good. I mean, he alone can dominate the paint even when he gets doubled. No one can really stand in front of him because he can move the defenders in their position without even getting called for an offensive foul.

You can rely on ROS even when they’re down because they know how to come back, and that’s the kind of spot you take if you want better odds.

ROS played well defensively, and they still won even without scoring over 100 points. From what I heard last night, their average was around 120 PPG, so they’re clearly known as a high-scoring team. That’s why it was surprising to see them get limited like that, but it was still good that they were able to adjust and find a way to win.

Gian Mamuyac exploded in the 4th quarter for the Elastopainters as he scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half, a big help for that ROS comeback in the second half. Like you kabayan, i stopped watching the game when the Hotshot were leading by 12 points in the first half and conceded that my bet will lost but surprised when i open back youtube and found out that they are leading hehe, this shows only the character that ROS has built over the years that they can't be pushed aside anymore as they are one of the teams to beat this conference.

My bet for tonight's games:
Converge -4 @1.91 - Converge will have a new import so this might be a game-changer for them.

Titan Ultra +21.5 @1.90 - this is exciting as we have experienced before that if Ginebra will lead comfortably, they usually rest Justine Brownlee and other starters which lead to a mini-comeback of their opponents.
