Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling?

Well, we need to find out if the so called professional gamblers have other jobs in real life that augments to the money that they earn in gambling. There are many professional gamblers that I think do not have jobs, but they have the skill in managing their assets and wealth as such that they were able to live the life they want, and still have the money to pay for the gambling. They have superb discipline not to over spend and also ambitious.

Some people consider gambling as their profession and their job. Some of them making this their main source of income, I assume that they are making good money from gambling and I believe he got this talent or skills more than us. Only a few people have got this thing, many people come to gambling but sadly they usually lose. I don't believe in gambling beliefs but as I talk to one of my friends who is doing this, he says there is such a thing but not 100% it gives you back what you wanted but base on his experience, he got more on winning than losing. If that be consistent, he can make this thing for a living.

I saw some professional poker players that are keep on winning in most of the tournaments that they are in so I am sure that they are playing poker as their profession and they live by continuing to play poker as they are good in that kind of games and their winning percentage will help them to live a comfortable life.

I believe that it's hard being a professional gambler because you'll be depending on your expenses based on how much you earn or lose. As a gambler I don't think so, as an operator yes they can make money out of gambling, bounty hunters are also making money from promoting gambling site but from gambling, only operators can make money, but players it's hard to make money from gambling, you can win sometimes but most of the time you break even or lose a lot.

Using the words can only means no chance for a gambler to make money, I disagree with that, we already know that gambling sites makes money, that is given but that doesn't mean they don't experience loses, the reality is they have loses but they are still profitable in the end, so no matter if some gamblers are making money from them as long as they are profitable in overall, not a problem with them.

i think we shouldnt use those words because we are promoting a gambling site and we earn thru it but if it will close because of gamblers getting discourage to play when they hear or see that its not possible to win in gambling we cant also earn an income anymore but we can rather say that a gambling site can make more income than a gambler , that if combined the losses of all players .

I'm of the same mind as you. As long as it's gambling as a hobby, fine. If you can give yourself a cap to gamble, but in the meantime you've already stabilized your life through another business, then it's more than doable. But if it's just supporting yourself on that alone, like you said, I have a hard time seeing a family there.

If you are a gambler once or have tried gambling, you will understand the feeling why many people are getting addicted to it. The idea of getting good money aside from the fun that you will get is the main motivation why many are hooked into gambling. Even if we say, the chance of winning is really low, people will still play, if given the chance. Just look at those people who bet on lotteries. Pro-gamblers, in their long career of being a gambler, already saved some funds that only intended for gambling purposes. That's why in case of losses, they have backup funds so the journey will go on.

I'm sure that other pro-gamblers too already made an investment outside gambling so they already secured and can able to support their gambling career.

I'm of the same mind as you. As long as it's gambling as a hobby, fine. If you treat gambling as a hobby, sooner or later, you can become addicted to gambling because we know if someone has a hobby, he will prioritize his hobby as the primary thing. He will not think about the other thing. But if you can use gambling as something to enjoy your free time, and you always control yourself, you don't have to worry become addicted to gambling. It is better to use another business to make money, especially if the money is for your family. But the best thing is you need to stay away from gambling for a while.

I see a lot of people living in those states where gambling is their main habit until now. They are living a miserable life and if they still play in that state, they won't have a chance to change their lives. Because when they playing in the morning, it won't stop until the afternoon and that's how their lives go every day. considering they are not earning enough for their families, it won't really matter to them they just continue to play.

See those top poker players? they are earning millions if not hundreds of thousands on every event not including the sponsorships and management they have. But still, even though there are people like them earning their living through gambling we must bear in mind that what worked for someone might not work for you.

That's what will happen if you don't have the proper discipline and you are not mentally capable of gambling meaning you cannot control and set aside your feelings when gambling. People like these will surely end up in a miserable life.

Lucky that i have , there is a Client from last year that i met ,at first i thought He is a Businessman since He ordered some luxurious stuffs from our company so this what i thought of Him the whole process of the Client/Company agreement , Until I need to Send Him a formal paper for His company or even from His employer ,and this almost break me but also happy meeting Like him ,because he told me everything about Him and the way of living ,
He is a gambler for almost 3/4 of his life and a must say Lucky one ,though He admitted no 100% winning but assures me that there is more than 70% of winning in a  living human ,and He's lucky to be one.

Well, maybe we do not see the truth about people who can live out from gambling.
But I think some people from many countries can fill their daily needs from gambling, and they do not have any trouble to use gambling to make money.
But if other people want to try, they will feel difficult because gambling is not for them.
I also saw some people become homeless because of playing gambling and spend everything they have.
We need to remember that we can use gambling and not use gambling as a way of income sources.

A friend of mine is playing professional poker online. He spends a lot of time playing per day usually like 4-6 tables at the same. He says he is happy like this and makes some decent money. I don't know how much he actually makes but he has a nice apartment and a high end PC. But he only plays poker, he doesn't really like to play any other games like black jack or roulette.

like the saying . "Easy to get, is Easy to forget" if you live your self in gambling then money for you is nothing ,because you will Fool your self telling that it can easily be win so lets spend more now.

If he's enjoying and he keeps taking the advantage then living with it is very possible, though it's really hard to take it as
profession as many failed and lead their activities in too much engagements and become addicted.

If he's focus and making he's way to take some decent amount of profits, he don't need to change-up or take part to other gambling as
it will mixed up with he's knowledge and a possible distractions to he's poker activities.
