What I actually don't understand is how important this match is to Ancelotti and Real Madrid.
Why does he need to play Vinicius and Modric? How about if Vinicius is injured in this match and misses champions league finals.
To me I think the risk is too high. If I were him I will not play Jr in this match.
To ATM, I don't understand how and why they are wasting all their opportunities to score. They are simply risking their chances of not going to champions league if they lose this match.
It seems the match is ending 1 goal in favour of Atletico Madrid.

The match finally ended in 1-0 score. Atletico Madrid probably won the game. Which means ATM still have hope of qualifying for the Champions League next season. However, I don't initially think the match was so important to Real Madrid. Is was pointless playing the match with top players. Because, with Real Madrid present points gap on the standings. Even if they lose in their remaining matches, they won't basically be overtaken by their closest rival Barcelona. Ancelotti, should just focus more on the Champion League finals.

The match finally ended 1:0 and Atletico Madrid is well seated in the top 4 now and they are guaranteed of champions league next season.
Atletico Madrid has so many good players and I think it's time they started playing accurate football.
I believe if Real Madrid didn't win the league already, Atletico Madrid wouldn't have gotten this victory. They indeed wasted so many opportunities. But congratulations to them.

Barcelona managed to get a win but it really didn't change much for them in the long run. They are still a decent team but I am not sure if they will be fine enough for next season. They are playing well one minute and then next minute they are not playing well at all. They need to find a way to make these things a lot better and play a lot better otherwise it is not going to be that easy for them at all.

I hope that the best case for them right now would be to buy players that would be fitting the system, and sell the high paid older players that shouldn't be playing anymore. They have too many players that are getting paid a ton but don't deserve it.

If you refer to statistics, of course Atletico Madrid's victory is not a gift given by Real Madrid, even this match was a fierce match marked by only 1 goal in this match (and even then from a penalty).

And even though Suarez didn't play in this match, but Griezmann played in the second half, this was done by Simeone to make Atletico Madrid play better in the second half.

it's happened everytime and it's sucks to watch such game , no wonder atletico madrid games always provide you a boring gameplay .. simeone seems frustrated to not getting any trophy in the recent years , he lack of attacking strategy and even more focused on negative football by all out defense in every single matches.

Indeed, Simeone's strategy is to play defensively, especially against a strong team. So it's no wonder that most of the games that Atletico play are
boring for neutral supporters like me. Even though Atletico should have played attacking when they were already one goal ahead, moreover,
Real Madrid only played reserve players. Because for Real Madrid the match against Atletico is not a match they have to win. So if Atletico dared
to play attacking in the second half, Atletico should have won with a bigger goal difference. Instead of Atletico playing boringly defensively,

I think Sevilla are not particularly worried about this match, they play quite well and understand that there are quite a lot of chances to win, although the last draw was strange... Real Madrid has a big final now. After it became clear that they were champions, I expected such a rotation like everyone else. Obviously, teams that will face Real Madrid after becoming champions have a higher chance.  Instead of the best squad, they will play many games with a rotating squad. It was a chance for Atlético and I can say that they used this chance well. After all, Liverpool, which is in the championship race in the Premier League, has to use all its strength. Real Madrid has no such obligation. I think they are more likely to win with their rested players for the final.
