Watching the highlight for the Derby yesterday and in my view Madrid defenders were playing poor in this match and too many mistakes has been done by them makes Atletico players can utilized it to score goals but Atletico also not playing good because their players also wasted several attempts to score goals and i think if Atletico players are more patient and focus then the score will be more than 1 goal

Real Madrid didn't play with the main squad, I think that was a factor in the weakness of the Real Madrid defence, and it's true that Atletico didn't play well, they only managed to score from the penalty spot even though they created a lot of dangerous chances that should have resulted in goals. but this victory is enough for Atletico to secure 4th place from Real Betis, now the game to end the season is only 3 games left and Atletico are 6 points ahead of Real Betis, I think it will be very safe for them.

this doesn't have any impact on them, even this as a benchmark for tier players is certainly quite good.
They reserved almost all of their players even if I'm not mistaken it was only Kroos, Casimero and Militao who were used to starting there.
but interestingly in this they are even more superior in terms of ball possession and chances created.
Atlético only scored one goal through a penalty, actually it was quite a loss for them even though they did win but they were still not good in all respects

I also want to add one thing about the character of Atletico Madrid's playing style which is very aggressive, especially when we saw it in the Champions League semifinals. You must know their rough game against Manchester City. So I think Ancelotti already knows how to keep their core players from getting injured. Champions League preparation is very important. Therefore, letting Atletico play with a score of 1 point will not change anything in La Liga for Madrid.

Yes, Real Madrid plays as if the score suits them completely. Apparently they will only strain (and Ancelotti will make serious substitutions) if the score becomes indecent, but Atlético is unlikely to score more than one goal in the remaining 30 minutes, rather I believe that Real will bounce back. What I actually don't understand is how important this match is to Ancelotti and Real Madrid.
Why does he need to play Vinicius and Modric? How about if Vinicius is injured in this match and misses champions league finals.
To me I think the risk is too high. If I were him I will not play Jr in this match.

Modric could have rested, after all, he is at a serious age. As for Vinicius, Ancelotti can't not let anyone from the main team on the field until the final. This match was not what I expected.
Actually, I just wanted to see the buying and selling of attacks in this match and there were a lot of goals created but indeed the goals from both teams were quite late because indeed they only managed to break the deadlock after 80 minutes of their match.
It's actually quite monotonous but I see that Villarreal are far superior in every way it's a shame it ended in a draw

With Sevilla failing to win, and ATM winning against Real Madrid, I am sure that ATM must feel so much anger and disappointment against the loss they had against Bilbao last week. I mean if they didn't lose that game, they would have been third again which is where they should be fairly.

Barcelona has been second for a long time now and solidified their position clearly, 4 points and 3 games left, I doubt Sevilla would ever be close to that, they will not be able to overtake the position, they should aim at staying at third if anything. Leagues are ending very soon, so all the games are feeling a bit redundant these days to me, and I am sure to most players.

They had a big problem on beating even this Real Madrid which played with many backup players. Atletico Madrid just wanted to secure that 1-0 score until the end and I think that it was the worst thing to do in that case. Because they could have lost points which seemed very probable. It was evident from the percentage of games, that even if the final minute was goalless from Jules maybe we can conclude that Villareal deserved to win. Diego Someone didn't instruct the players to attack aggressively, he ordered the players to be more defensive in the second half. He also didn't release some top players as the starters, so Atletico cannot get a maximum result in the first half.
