You see these European Competitions and games are so overwhelming and suffocating, they have lead to too many games played seeing players fatigued and stressed leading to long term injuries too. I feel dad for Barcelona and most importantly Gavi who will miss the rest of the season and the chance to play in his first Euro's for Spanish national team.

Gavi is not the only player who has been given this exact fee for having been Injured, same share has also being assigned to Camavinga who was also Injured during the international break. Both positions in the different clubs will miss this players both. Real Madrid also have sent his heart felt sympathies to be strong.

They are absolutely on fire. As fans, we'd love to see a different season, or at least some intense competition between 3 or 4 clubs. Your point is very valid and I think it's exactly the strategy Girona has been using since this season because, on a second taught, if they win every other team and loose to only either of Barcelona or Real Madrid, they will still continually climb and maintain the top position on the table,

The only time it could really cost them may be toward the end of the season if they point happens to be all they will need to rank up the table. It is true that Girona has performed well this season, but their current existence at the top of the La Liga standings cannot be separated from the inconsistency of Real Madrid and Barcelona, so indirectly Girona has benefited a little because of that.

If you look at Girona's overall performance so far it is quite impressive and they just need to maintain their consistency, in my opinion it is very difficult for a team to maintain its consistency until the end of the season.
And it's not impossible that Girona could make a surprise until the end of this season, I think that would be very interesting if that happened.

They are so focused in winning La Liga,  they will bring in support when the time for transfer begins. Just  keep your minds open they may fall down or still go higher having Girona at the top a total underdog makes the other clubs to brace up and attack the league.

As we can see Girona took advantage of the momentum well. So Girona steps in La Liga are very well calculated. They know that no club can interfere in Real Madrid and Barcelona eternal rivalry in La Liga so what Girona can do is take advantage of the situation. Girona could lose to both clubs but the probability with the other club is actually higher. So this gives Girona a breath of fresh air sacrificing matches against Barcelona and Madrid but on the other hand they are fighting for big opportunities with the remaining clubs. For me, Girona strategy has been quite effective so far, with the result of 13 matches and one loss being a big achievement.

The only key for girona just being consistent till the end of season. Even though girona would be losing against the big clubs like barcelona and real madrid but the won against the weak teams will be helping the club so much in gaining the more points and defending its position.
Michel shall not high expectation for his club. He just need to make sure girona will always survive from the match against the weak team. that's more than enough to help girona stay at the top.

Girona boss, Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz is promising and completely focused on winning the title this season. He's not stopping for any reason, he's very close because the main contenders are facing difficulties due to injuries on their main players. It's quite shocking to see Girona that was having one of the terrible performance and poor stats last season, making them ranked 10th position and this new season, they're ranked #1 and definitely fighting really hard to maintain their position.
