So far Girona has been quite consistent and what they have done is no longer a surprise but this team is really strong at the moment.
Talking about champions is still too early, this season is still very long, but it is not impossible that they will actually succeed in winning the title like Leicester City did in the 2016 Premier League season.

There is no need to hope that other teams will fall, Girona just needs to maintain their team's consistency.

It is admirable that Madrid performed as well as they did without Bellingham, the most important player in the squad. Although we have seen excellent performances from Bellingham in the past matches, we have not seen better performances from Vinicius and Rodrygo. But Vinicius and Rodrygo played well against Valencia. If these two players in Madrid's attack can maintain such consistency, Madrid's overall performance will be even stronger.

Two of Madrid's youngsters, Vini and Rodrygo, have been playing very well in two matches, which is admirable. But I don't expect these two players to perform consistently well. They are still quite inexperienced. They also miss many easy opportunities. And thus it is impossible to maintain consistently good performance. Girona will definitely make mistakes, finishing the league in first place by the end of the season is not something they can do. They will definitely suffer a defeat and then the team will need time to recover, and in the meantime they will fall a few places back in the league.

as I said earlier yesterday, if it is possible that Madrid will appear without Bellingham, it will not be a big problem for Ancelotti and I also said that if Vinicius and Rodrygo are able to perform solidly, it is likely that the match will end in victory and it turns out that my prediction was correct and they could even beat Valencia with a big score and the biggest contribution from Vinicius and Rodrygo.

Yes, with only a difference of two points, something surprising might happen in the next matches because it only takes one defeat for Girona for Real Madrid to take over the position of leader of the standings, but the decline that was expected to start happening for Girona has not yet happened, the defeat of Real Madrid was the only that made them lose points and draw with Real Sociedad but after that, there was almost no chance for any team to beat them.
In the next three matches, Girona will face quite difficult matches when they face Bilbao and Barcelona, while against Valencia Girona still has a chance to win.

The more difficult challenge now is to preserve that position for the long term in order to win the league with it, but is it even realistic given the amount of talented clubs fighting to replace them? It is difficult to keep first place; they can try, but I doubt they will be able to endure or control the pressure long enough to stay there until the end of the season. If they win the league title, which is extremely unlikely, it will be an history of its kind in football.

I didn't know that Bellingham had a shoulder injury and wasn't going to be able to play against Valencia last night. However this didn't affect the team negatively at all. Instead they demolished Valencia by 5-1.    Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior were the stars of the game however I must admit that Rodrygo was the best with two goals and two assists. 

It must be a career-high game for Rodrygo at Real Madrid if I'm not wrong. His rating was 10.0 and he deserved every inch of it. This performance should be enough for him to be selected for the starting eleven in Joselu's place too from now on. Because Joselu has been performing really poorly recently.

It's unusual for Real Madrid to win with a landslide score like this and they did it against Valencia last night. A total of 5 goals were scored by Real Madrid players and I am happy that Rodrygo and Vinicius have finally returned to their best performance. I must say that Valencia did not play in the best way, but here I think the reason is the goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili. Out of five goals probably only in one case it was impossible to save the team, when the ball ricocheted off the bar into the goal, and in the other goals Giorgi Mamardashvili did not help Valencia, although in previous matches he was always one of the best players.

It is interesting that before the game with Real, Valencia conceded an adequate number of goals on average - exactly one, but received five from Real at once. But in my opinion, this was predictable since Real were additionally motivated after losing points in the previous round. Let's see what kind of performance Barcelona will show today - they have a convenient opponent, and they can improve their statistics. If I see another difficult victory for Barcelona, I will be surprised.
