Oh boy, that's incredibly sad, unexpected and shocking!
Ancelotti made 3 successive substitution to push the team to score, VJ +Rodrygo and Asensio, hopefully they will win this game...I was just saying that they are profiting from Barca draw...

It's 3-2 now thanks to a Vinícius Júnior equalizer and then a few moments later a third goal for Levante from Pier. Looks like Real Madrid will be losing some points tonight. Levante have put up quite a challenge in the second half.

Who say La Liga is a boring league?

It is exactly happening as I expected. Atletico Madrid with the strong defense, one goal is enough to make it and they score it and go home with three points. Real Madrid needs to score at least three goals or otherwise they lose. Now they even need a fourth goal.

I think that Atletico is the favorite this year. The team is the most balanced of the whole La Liga. They have been delivering for almost a decade now and every time when Real or Barca are weak, Atletico is there.

The score os currently 3-3 between Levante vs Real Madrid  and looks like its going to end that way base on the time this is posted. That means Altletico will will stand on top base on today's result. Cant they struggle to beat Levante despite they getting a red card and Real Madrid having 62% ball possession. I had a bet on them at betfair had to change my bet just to offset the orginal bet. They can di better.

Atletico Madrid played quite well and managed to win the match against Elche. Moreover Barcelona and Real Madrid failed to win, it's a good start
for Atletico by winning two games in a row, The next match will not be easy for Atletico because they have to face Villarreal who can only play two
matches in a draw. But the morale of Atletico's players is improving, so Atletico are a bit ahead, I'm optimistic that Atletico can beat Villarreal.
I agree with you that Atletico deserve to be favorites to win this season, we'll see in the next few games if Atletico can play consistently, it's not
impossible for Atletico to win the La Liga trophy again.

Atletico match was an interesting one, I really enjoyed the match. Atletico Madrid have a strong and cooperative squad. Although Elche's goalkeeper really did a great job today. Atletico Madrid have won their two matches so far and got 6 points. I think they may win the La Liga trophy again this season.
Real Madrid match ended 3-3 draw. Levante wasn't ready to lose the match, even after getting a red card 87 minutes and also with 38% ball possession. I expected Real Madrid to win the match.

What's hard to admit? I thought they are favorite already by majority, who think otherwise? Real Madrid and Barcelona are far away from their best form, based on mentality, squad quality and financially.
Real Madrid couldn't beat Levante, they showed lack of concentration. They already led the game in first five minutes but couldn't keep the score. If it wasn't Vinicius Junior they wouldn't even get 1 point there.
Atletico Madrid played strong on the other side. Simeone loves 1-0 wins, they scored in first half and did keep the score unlike Real Madrid. Ancelotti can learn one or two things from Simeone, what do you think?

What an insane match it was! Levante - Real Madrid match has ended 3-3. Junior Vinicius was on the stage to save the team with his two goals. Levante were so close to winning it 3-2. They are still continuing to be like Real Madrid's nightmare.    They play differently against Real Madrid. Benzema couldn't score any goal this time but still he was one of the greatest players again. Because he made 2 assists.

Don't you think it's a little too early to be making conclusions yet? The season just started and there's still plenty games yet to be played. We're not even at the half way line. Ancelotti just took charge and will need some time to adjust to the pace of the league. Plus, smaller teams these days are becoming a pain in the ass for much more better teams in the la liga. Started noticing this last season and I've seen it continue this season. Since the season is just starting, I reckon you don't lose hope yet. Madrid put up some strong performance today and was just unlucky to leave with just a point.

I guess that Real Madrid weren't expecting such result in their game against Levante. It ended 3-3. Levante were really focused on a win even more than Real Madrid. But Real Madrid didn't let it happen at least. But they must be aware of that it was a game which they would have won normally.

When it comes to Atletico Madrid, they did the expected and won against Elche 1-0. The result is not very impressive though. Because a team like Atletico should be able to score at least 3 or 4 goals against a team like Elche. I guess they haven't adapted fully to the new season. But it's not a problem as long as they continue to win. They can start playing better in time.

Barcelona no longer have Mr impossible in their team and now everyone takes them to be an average team, and if you ask me I don't see them challenging for top spot anymore...this will be another Atlético Madrid win as they are the only capable team( strong opposition)as far as Laliga goes.
Just last night Athletic Bilbao held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw despite having the least possession  but lets not write them off just yet.

The weird thing is that they do not have Messi anymore, but their defense sucked as well, and Messi wasn't a defensive player so the fact that they sucked on defense has nothing to do with the fact that they do not have Messi on the team anymore. I have always said, even while messi was here that their defense is way too slow and they need players that are much faster, people like Pique are great defensive players because of their minds and not their bodies but now their bodies are getting very old and very slow so now lesser talented people could end up passing them by just running circles around them.
This is why they need faster and quicker defenders that could stick to their man. Offense could be handled by the players they already have, people like Brian and depay and griezzmann are good players and can handle it, let's face it not many teams have that kind of trio, but their defense needs to get better.

Messi has never been known for a particularly strong defensive game, but Barcelona itself defended quite well. Another question is that a strong game in attack, firstly, pushes the game away from your own goal, significantly reducing the work of the defenders, and secondly, if you score more than the opponent by just one ball, you must definitely win   Koeman just remembered about Messi after the draw with Athletic, that under Messi, the opponents were more afraid of Barcelona and Messi usually did not lose the ball after receiving it. Yes again a bad result for a top team this match is understandable because it is played away we will see if this continues or not, competition is getting less and less in La Liga less interesting if only one team dominates. Exciting or not this season depends on who views it, it is very subjective. For Real Madrid and Barcelona fans, this season must be not really interesting with the current squad of those teams. To be honest, as a Real Madrid fan, I don't expect much that Real Madrid can win the title of big competitions such as UCL and La Liga trophy. I suspect Barcelona fans probably think the same as me. While Atletico Madrid fans, should feel happy with the weakening of the Real Madrid and Barcelona squads.

Yep, Atlético Madrid looks like to defend La Liga title if Real Madrid and Barcelona cannot improve their performance. Atletico squad seems almost the same as the previous season. So, they don't get difficulties adapting to the current competition. While Real and Barcelona lose some key players and cannot find proper players as replacements.

With the current squad, it seems that Atletico Madrid is more stable in welcoming this season and will be a strong candidate as La Liga champions. Losing Messi is a tough thing for Barcelona but they have to accept it and I think they have to make improvements with the squad they have now.

For Real Madrid, If they want to stay in the title race then they will have to buy new players before the transfer window closes. Otherwise, Real Madrid will have a hard time at least until mid-season (the winter transfer window opened) because the current Real Madrid squad is not much different from last season's squad that failed to win a trophy.

It is far too early to make any prediction. You would need to go way back in time to find two La Liga won by Atletico de Madrid in a row, since it is such a competitive League and prone to surprises after winter and all that. I think that the keys for this season are: How strong is going to be Real Madrid on average, how will Barca be able to replan their game after Messi leaving and will Atletico be able to keep up the pace for two seasons in a row? Many combinations there to start thinking about the final results.
