Villareal may be at the middle but they are still a tough opponent. This is also a great chance presented to Real Madrid to extend their lead at the top of the table with Atletico M dropping valuable points. It's going to be tough for Barcelona playing another game after two days.

this was an expected result due to the fact that in all games Atletico won in a way helped by luck and suffered in most games

I guess Atletico Madrid could be another casualty of the Champions league fever as the team would have prioritized to save players for the Champions League at the expense of dropping points,but I looked at their squad and it's safe to say that these guys were beaten fairly even after fielding its "A" team with the likes of Suarez, Griezmann and others.

Valencia 1 - 1 Ath. Bilbao

This fixture at one time Valencia was always the team on top and then a few seasons back Ath Bilbao had its chances but these days this has turned out unpredictable and the result is fair IMO.

The first half has ended and while Alaves managed to take a temporary lead with the score 1-0, the statistics of the first half show that Atletico Madrid dominated the game by around 71% but were only able to kick 4 shots without having any shots on target at all and obviously this is very disappointing in my opinion. I think Atletico Madrid will have to fight to win that game if they are to challenge for the La Liga title this season.

Barcelona is currently still not consistent in undergoing La Liga.
apart from the impact of messi that is still being felt, barcelona also until now has not been in its strongest strength because there are still some players who until now have not been able to play due to injuries in nature.

Barcelona has a problem with their players' mentality. Less confidence, not play solidly, and seems no trust among them. Barcelona players aren't bad players, they actually have many talented players and some of them even are experienced players. Barcelona now seems really experiencing a serious crisis for his team. Besides the bad team performance, now Barcelona actually looks quite weak for other small teams, from the 5 matches that Barcelona played, they could only get 9 points and lost a lot of points against teams that are below their level like granada and also cadiz, I think barcelona management should reevaluate their team now including ronald koeman who can't seem to make barcelona better.

The team confidence must really grow before they really dissolve in the dilemma just because of losing Messi. They can't just be like this and lock themselves in a game that doesn't reflect the characteristics of Spain. Even today, Messi at PSG experiences the same anxiety because he has not adapted to players whose playing style is different, so we can see the imperfections of Messi's playing. From the restlessness between the Club and Messi really can't restore Tim's trust. They have become an inseparable family. Once again that the team is the team that are who are looking, one mind in play, eliminating ego and building trust in each other.

Today has been a nightmare for Atletico Madrid. They lost to the team that were at the last place and lost all of their five league games. Alaves scored very early but there was nothing to worry about still. Because Atletico Madrid were highly overwhelming against them. And they really captured the control of the game after this goal. They tried every way they could but it was in vain. Atletico Madrid got only one shot on goal which can be seen as a very poor performance. I don't get how they can't score with an attacking line that is comprised of Griezmann and Suarez. Simeone must fire the team up otherwise this poor form can continue.

You can't always bounce back at the last moment... Such an indicator on the contrary means that the team can't play normally for the whole half and only at the end they get something. Normal teams don't play like that. It`s strange that Atletico`s performance has been weak lately.

Maybe Diego Simeone was wrong to apply the defensive strategy this time. It didn't look good when they played from the start. Their appearance looks quite odd and they often lose focus on defending when the Alaves striker breaks into their defense. As the host, this time Alaves are seeded, so the tempo of Atletico game has died down and follows the game from Alaves.

Yes, right.
It's like the worst productivity of Barcelona for the past 18 years. Moreover, Barcelona has been a giant club in the Spanish League competing with RM, of course, many fans feel very disappointed with the club's performance at this time. Not only fans but all the lines were also disappointed.

But honestly anyone who watched the game seen that Real Madrid had more chances in this match and could have won. Villereal is a good tactical team and showed they are for the top of the league

Real Madrid couldn't give the expected and they drew with Villarreal by a goalless score. I didn't see them being very effective in the first half. Villarreal had even the most ball possession. But things changed in the second half. Real Madrid started being more dominant against their opponent. But they still didn't score and Villarreal resisted them well. Villarreal are just an interesting team now. They got 5 draws so far in 6 games. They are just preparing to making history I suppose.

I believe an old Barcelona player who played during Tiki Taka era of Pep guardiola and won during that time could be a great replacement for manager and can bring this team back. As far as I know Xavi is a manager now, he has been managing some Qatar team for a while now, since 2019 and I believe he could be great for Barcelona as well. Dude knows Barcelona inside out and he could come here, become the manager, build the teams strategy like how it used to be, and teach the players they have how to play that tactic and make the team a lot better.

Barcelona do not have horrible players, look at their roster, they deserve to be a lot higher than where they are right now, given the same roster I am sure Xavi could turn this ship around and make it a lot better. Obviously it would require a lot of convincing to take over a shipwreck but it would still be possible since he is a Barcelona golden boy as well.

Today we have some big upsets but may be Atlético Madrid is doing some experiment ahead of their Champions League match just because of this today they are unable to score any goal which is very unusual for me as well because I was not expecting any result like this, but today they were completely lost their combination even their Ball Possession was completely one-sided.

Today in other matches Sevilla won and hold their nerve for staying on second position right now we have another very interesting match between League leaders Real Madrid and Villareal on papers home team is very strong and can win this match but on ground any result is possible.
