PSG is not giving up hope. If they could have got Ronaldo in the team, maybe they would have sold Mbappe at a lower price. But now they need Mbappe. Mbappe is talented. And with PSG's strategy, he is able to perform exceptionally well. However, in the end, if Mbappe is not interested in staying at PSG, PSG will decide to sell him.

Yeah, I have seen it. And I must admit that I'm really shocked. Because after Messi's departure, their biggest player was Griezmann. But they chose to loan Griezmann also. Griezmann is the result of terrible previous club management. Barca now simply can't afford to keep him. But I don't really like that he is going to direct competitors. Same like Suarez, he will make a lot of problems for us.

The president himself said that they needed more money from Mbappe sale. If they didn't want to sell him, they would have just said that he's not up for sale.

There are rumors that they tried again to offer Mbappe a staggering 45M Euros a year, but he has rejected it once more. I am not sure of the sources, but I will confirm.

They actually said it several times. Al Khelaifi mentioned in several interviews in the past that he won't let Mbappe leave this summer regardless of the offered price. The huge offer by Real Madrid triggered talks and many was waiting to see PSG increasing that amount and selling Mbappe at the end which wasn't the case..

I think most of the big clubs did really good buys. PSG look so strong, and so do both Manchester clubs. Real and Barca I think are the losers among the big leagues but they are both rebuilding and need to throw away their old roots to do this.

Now it is a game of who spends the least and wins the most. If PSG does not win anything, their future can turn bleak very fast.

I hope that Ansu Fati won't step on the same sadly development of Bojan Krkic. After a few early seasons in Barcelona with great success, Krkic lost all of his confidence and ability to play his best football. He has never reached to the level of Messi and his career was damaged by too much pressure on him.

I think this choice is risky. Barcelona should give Ansu Fati one or two more seasons to play and develop before they give him that number.

Ansu Fati is really one of the best players who has grown at Barcelona now. He is only 18 years old but he has already increased his value a lot in only one year. His market value is now €60m. And I'm pretty sure that Barcelona will choose to keep him at the team like they did with Messi. In the last season, he got 5 goals and 4 assists and he played for only 10 matches. I think that he has a really bright future ahead.

Sad to see Griezmann left but giving him to your biggest opposition in La Liga is quite terrible move no matter how you look. They made the same mistake as Suarez incident last season. I understand they have to give up on big salary players but was there no other alternatives than Atletico? This doesn't look like a well thought decision, instead of that it's a last minute call and they haven't realized the consequences yet. We will see how it affect the balances of La Liga but Atletico surely have a quite good leverage on their hands already.

Personally I think that Griezmann was a fundamental key for the team, for now I don't see any player who can do his job, at least those who are in the team can replace him but not with the quality that Griezmann does.

However at the end of the day Messi wore number 10 for so long and he is the legend of this club and giving away his jersey number right away is a very weird thing. This is why I prefer the NBA method, they just retire the jersey number of a player and that way you end up with nobody ever being that number ever again.

I generally have a negative attitude to the idea of withdrawing the first eleven football numbers from use, no matter what great qualities and achievements the previous owner of the game number of the shirt had for the club. On the contrary, giving a number to another player can have a great educational value when the club gives confidence to a player, taking into account those big players who were before him and whose level this player should match or at least strive for this. However, perhaps such an exception of the number in exceptional cases could be practiced for a fairly short time. Let's say for the season. But again, I'm not a fan of such things.

If Messi wear something like 45 or 63 that could be possible but let's be honest, no matter how good a player is, even if the greatest of all time, you can't retire number 10. I don't think that's even an internal discussion. You can honor Messi in different ways other than retiring no.10 jersey.
Messi is gone, but life goes on. I'm glad they give No.10 to another La Masia player Fati. He can be very successful and be the new star of this club. Just give him some time. If they give away no.10 to a newcomer I would be against it but I don't think nobody have right to say something to La Masia players.
