Actually to be honest I am also a big Barcelona fan but even I did not give Barcelona much of a chance to win against Real Madrid in the El Clasico. but it's really great to see Barcelona making a comeback like this and beating the league leaders by  4 goals to 0. Xavi has done well with this team and the most important thing that I have noticed is the Barcelona team seems to be really motivated and hungry for better performance which was really lacking from their performance previously. I think now we can say that Barcelona is back.

Entering 2022, the performance of Xavi's team has improved rapidly, Xavi managed to become the tactician that Barca wanted, sacked Ronald Koeman and replaced Xavi as a tactician, the decision was very appropriate, although at the beginning of Xavi's arrival he failed but slowly Xavi was able to bring Barca back to be feared by his opponents, a fantastic victory is proof that Xavi is a great tactician, I really believe Xavi is able to bring Barca to 2nd place in the standings at the end of the season.

Even though the point difference seems less right now I don't think there should have any problem winning the league title this season. I think because Real Madrid have a comfortable lead right now and they also need to win against Chelsea in the Champions League they are probably trying out some things to see if they work out or not.

And if anyone is getting scared by this loss of Real Madrid I think they forgot that Real Madrid still has a 9 points advantage from the second-place team. so they should not have any problems yet.

If Barcelona were from match 1 of the season they would certainly have been on top by now. Last year they were also somewhere close to the national title, but that was not with beautiful football. Xavi did need to adapt first when he first came to Barcelona to replace Koeman. Therefore, it is natural that when Xavi first coached Barcelona's game
was not as good as it is now. But what we have to appreciate is that Xavi's adaptation process was very fast, because Xavi took up his stint as coach
for the first time at Barcelona in November 2021, and starting January 2022 Barcelona's game changed for the better. Moreover, Xavi began to bring in

It is unlikely that they will finish in the top 4, I think they could even finish second. Sevilla have lost a lot of points in the last weeks and the team is not in very good shape, their motivation is quite low. On the other hand, Barcelona are playing in incredible form and never lose a match.
I think the biggest candidate to be the runner-up this year is Barcelona right now

If Benzema had been in the game, I have strong feelings that they would have done better. I'm not saying they will win Barcelona, but they would have at least one goal since he is still the top player this season.
I disagree that Sevilla would want to relax at any time given what they have seen Barcelona achieve in the previous couple of matches, and it will be interesting to see how Barcelona and Sevilla conclude because they were able to give Real Madrid, who is top of the league, a cool 4 goals.

The difference between the money they would make is a big difference. Plus because of their financial troubles they are given a tiny amount in salary cap as well, under 100 million euros and we all know that they can't afford that, it is not possible for them to pay that little, they are already above that and don't know what happens when you are above that level.

They are paying like 160 million or so this year, and that is with griezzman and messi gone who were the most paid players until this year. That means they are already breaking the rule, and they need to find a way to be second so that they could get a bit more money, and constantly keep on winning games and not spending too much on old players like pique or busquets to keep going.

Barcelona is already in top 4 and are comfortable there. This is what I do not believe personally when the league started because Barcelona started so so badly and it was bad even to the middle of the league. All thanks to Xavi for the good one he has done to bring Barcelona back to the good form we are enjoying now.
Barcelona may not be interested to fight for a second position because if they decided to fight for it, it does not make sense because they are already chasing europa league. They should not be distracted with number two. Whether they are in number two or number three, what matters is that they will go to champions league next season. The Sevilla that is in number two is out of the europa league and they will be serious with the laliga.

There is no doubt Barcelona would be taking there chances against Sevilla to come 2nd place in the league. Given more games, they could have managed it to the top but sadly, the game is concluded already but, with this kind of performance in there games so far and the beat down on Real Madrid, its hard to say Barcelona is yet to regain its formal glory. I was greatly disappointed at Real Madrid and the way they played in the last El-classico. I agree with you that Barcelona will be ahead of Sevilla because with the current form of barca, Sevilla can't stop them not even now that Sevilla is in poor form.xavi has taken the team to another i was so shocked when i watched them beat Madrid 4:0 in their last match so Sevilla game is going to be a win for Barca.
