Sevilla tries back to the race although it is very small, they are likely to try to rival Madrid because it's just what they can do
Granada like losing strength compared to last season when they are in the top 10 this season ranked 16th not far from relegation

I think Sevilla are only able to pick as many points as possible to compete with Barcelona in the temporary standings, because to rival Real Madrid as the leader of the standings at the moment it still looks very difficult for Sevilla even though Sevilla won a lot against Granada which this season clearly looks very weak.

Sevilla did what it had to do and won, albeit hard. They fell behind in the match, they came back. At the end of the match, they conceded the equalizer and still didn't give up. They scored again at the last minute and deserved to win the match with another goal.
Today, Real Madrid must win against Getafe too. They played a good Champions League game during the week and morale is high. Benzema made a hat-trick. He's by far the top goalscorer in La Liga. The dramatic victory achieved by Sevilla deserves our appreciation because they did not give up until the final whistle was sounded by the referee who led the match. If they had given up on the result in 90 minutes of normal time I think they would have got a draw, but they are not desperate to score. Evidently his hard work made them win even with a late goal.

An excellent performance from Sevilla. Even though Granada fought hard, Sevilla proved too strong. I don't think Sevilla's position will change. Because the performance of Atletico Madrid and Barcelona is much better than Sevilla. I do not think that it is impossible. I mean doesn't mean it is possible neither but definitely not impossible. Something like a few losing games or ties, and Betis gets points there and we will be facing a closer situation.

I do believe 100% that Barcelona will pass them, ATM looks like they might as well, no guarantee but it does look like that for sure, and then Betis is next up and that depends on the results both teams get but there are enough games to actually do that, would be hard to achieve it but wouldn't be impossible at all. What a game by Sevilla and Granada both tonight! I was wishing to have a more comfortable win for Sevilla here honestly. But Granada showed a solid resistance against them indeed. After finding the equalizer in the 88th minute, Granada must have felt a probable one point there. But Sevilla weren't intending to lose this match definitely. They were already on a bad run and they wouldn't run the risk of losing points again. And they scored two goals in the stoppage time and won by 4-2. I enjoyed watching it for sure.

Really what a game they made me sweat so much had Sevilla to win and in the end they won 2 goals more then Granada somehow.
This win for Sevilla made their champions league spot o most secure and now Betis will have a miracle to try and get that 4th position

I was so confident that Sevilla would win the match and they did well though it was tough match. Granda scored first and then a great come back from Sevilla. They have proved that they have ability to show something different to their opponent.

I had confidence in Sevilla that they were going to win the match at the end. Although Granada put in a good fight and we're able to disturb their goal post by netting two, that didn't stop Sevilla; infact I felt it was a great propeller to push them.
 At some point in the game, after the second goal in the second half, it looked like the game will end in a 2- 1 win in favor of Sevilla, but then Mir R and and Papi Gomez came and sealed their fate in the added time of the ninety minutes.  Good job to them

@hahay it’s just not about luck Sevilla have played very well this season, but in the last few matches they did underperform but now it seems that they’re back with a big win. Also I tried finding the reason for those extra minutes, but so far I can’t find any article which justifies so much extra time, hence if someone has a link do share it as even I’m curious to understand why the referee allowed so many extra minutes.

Granada's performance fascinated me. Granada is not an experienced team like Sevilla. They are very close to the relegation zone. Even then, they fought hard against Sevilla in the away match. However, Sevilla's two goals in extra time after 90 minutes were outstanding. Sevilla played well, they dominated the whole match. And by winning this match they have been able to regain the second place in the table.

I don't think that Sevilla's victory was the beginning of their comeback after the defeat to Barcelona and some other bad results, against the Granada team they really deserved to win because Granada is a team that is in the bottom row of the standings but what happened was that Sevilla almost failed to win victory if there is no goal at the end of the match scored by Rafa Mir in the 90+3 minute and Alejandro Gomez in the 90+9 minute. it means that only against a team like Granada, Sevilla is still very difficult, I think Sevilla need to improve in all aspects for next season they don't have any hope this season.

The lost against Barcelona was a wake up for Sevilla. It was the first time I saw them score four goals in a match this year. Although, I can't conclude that they are fully back on track. How they plays their next match will determine that. Let's see if they will be able to beat Real Madrid.

While, Barcelona have to put in more effort in their matches, to enable them to either slide up on the standings or retail their present position. But, Barca have more advantage of overtaking Sevilla because they have an outstanding game to play.
