the Real Madrid team is in good form and confidence is high after winning the match in the UCL stage last week, there are not many games left to end the season and 12 points behind I think it is very unlikely for Barcelona to catch up.
if Real Madrid can continue to consistently play well like their last 2 matches then I think they will continue to win games and ensure the title more quickly this season.

The victory over Getafe made Real Madrid firmly at the top of the standings with a difference of 12 points from a second place. Now that Real Madrid have 7 more games to play in La Liga, Benzema and co need 5 more wins or a finish with 87 points at the end of the season to ensure they lift the La Liga trophy this season. Because Barcelona can only reach 84 points and Sevilla can only reach 81 points if these two teams are able to win all games at the end of the season.
The victory over Getafe made the madrid players even more motivated to continue to show good performances every time they competed. Real Madrid can play casually or need a draw when dealing with Chelsea in the UCL 2nd leg so that no core players are injured.

The come back of Barcelona is unexpected but Athletico Madrid are responsible for their current position. They began this season as a title holder, a champion but now they stay at the fifth position and they can not blame it all on the surprising come back of Barcelona. They should do it better to stay at the second or third position at least as a trophy protector.

The defeat against Mallorca makes thing worse for them if Barcelona win their match. About the La Liga title, it seems to be reserved for Real Madrid after their 3 points in this weekend. Chance is almost out for both Sevilla and Barcelona to beat Real Madrid in rest of this season.

Now, Real Madrid are just closing in on the championship week by week. Maybe it will take some time for them to announce it but they are far away from their closest opponents at the same time. I don't believe that Barcelona can catch up with them at this point. But it is still good to see these teams performing great now and next season can be really tricky.

Real Madrid seems to be able to lock the title early. Real Madrid are at the top of the La Liga standings with 72 points.
There is a distance of 12 points from Sevilla, Atletico Madri 57 points and Barcelona 57 points plus there are 2 postponed matches.
With that composition, Real Madrid only needs five more wins to be able to lock the Spanish La Liga title.

I think the quotes seem correct. Barcelona are favorites to win this match. And if you look at what form they are in, this match won't pose much of a problem. This Barcelona is playing better than the last 2 seasons combined. This has to do with the players who function well, but is mainly due to Xavi, who has managed to position all players optimally and let them play football at the right time. Koeman and his predecessor would never have succeeded in that, they had little understanding of it. 0-2 or 0-3 I think.

you must be a barcelona fan, well i agree with you that barcelona are strong and that they have a greater chance of winning this game, but i don't think it's good to underestimate the opponent, we can't forget that they are the same opponents that won villareal so they could also beat barcelona, you never know when a weak team decided to surprise and beat the strong team. but i bet on barcelona and i hope they win this game

Barcelona are a strong team now and they have proved that so far to the fans by winning a number of important matches and maintaining their unbeaten record. But it makes no sense to underestimate Levante even though they are in the relegation zone so far.
