Probobly no body expected that Sevilla would lose points let alone lose all 3 points against Osasuna. Osasuna again showing they are really a hard team to beat at home,now Sevilla already lost 3 points and will need to win the next match at home to boost their ranking on the league table

playing at home, Osasuna didn't waste the chance to win. I was quite surprised by Osasuna's quick goal in the 9th minute (which was scored by Avila) but Sevilla scored in the 11th minute (by Rafa Mir). this match was quite entertaining and Osasuna deserved to win.

Osasuna won this match unexpectedly and that penalty has seen them secure 3 points today. I don't expect them to win, but it can happen to any team even if they aren't the favourite.

They were at home, so I think they had a chance to win, especially against at team like Sevilla.

Sevilla has a lot more quality of players than Osasuna and were expected to win pre-match. They also held 66% of the possession throughout the game but lacked good finishing with having less shots on goal compared to Osasuna. Last season at Osasuna home was a 0-0 draw and was probably expected Sevilla to take it over the edge this time, but the opposite happened. It is not as shocking a result though but still a bit surprising that with quality players that Sevilla has, they couldnt even get a draw out of the opening fixture of the la liga season.

Well actually i expected this kind result to come since the beginning of the game.

You know what ... it's often in la liga the one who had more possession get lost and this time due its bad sevilla transition from attacking to defending .. they conceded first in thefirst 10 minutes.
Osasuna had more effective attacking compared to sevilla despite sevilla had more possession and yeah it's hard to accept that sevilla didn't win this game.

Barcelona still couldn't register the players like lewandowski and such? If they fail to get those players registered then what was the point of singing them? What's going to happen with them? Are they just going to be playing in UCL and no other games? That makes no sense to me. Could someone explain the rules to me?

Like what if all those players are failed to signed and then they are still in Barcelona, does that mean they are going to play like 10 games a year and get paid millions of dollars and there is nothing Barcelona can do about it? Or are we going to see them get it one way or another even if with some punishment? If that's the case they have to pay it and move on.

Barcelona is obviously a great team in most situations even now. But because of the news, Barcelona will have to worry about going into the next season. I am quite sure that they could not settle that salary amount of weight players and now that is coming back to cost them more problems. I hope that Barcelona will be able to come out of this problem and will be able to play as many players as they got however they like.

That's why pre-season matches or friendly matches never guarantee anything. The loss of Sevilla in the match against Osasuna is just an example that the real matches will be harder than pre-season matches. Although Sevilla dominates the ball possession, they can't make many goal attempts, they only made 3 shots on target during the match. In this match, Sevilla failed to play effectively, they only focused on dominating the ball possession, but they forget to create as many as possible shots on target. Sevilla coach must get a big lesson from this loss, he must evaluate the strategy.

This is the first match of La Liga and we are served with something very unpredictable and surprsiing. I didn't watch the match live. I saw the result this morning and found Ossasuna 2 - Sevilla 1
Was Sevilla not ready yet? Both have quite similar statistics and they also have many shots. But they are not exactly accurate and efficient. However for Sevilla. Why the club is decreasing after the middle of the previous season? I see that the club spirit has been gone. I don't know that Sevilla is in this situation right now because we know that Sevilla was a big team. But I know that this is their first mathc and they still have chances to repair this dispaointed things for their fans.

A very surprising result in the inaugural match of the La Liga 2022/2023 season, which Sevilla lost to Osasuna. Even though Sevilla are favorites

I guess what so many times small club with bad history against a good club can also win. The chance for both will always 50:50. The fact that if ossasuna was playing very good against sevilla. A bad start for Sevilla, they have 2 games in August that aren't that hard and they should win them before facing Barcelona or else it will be a disaster..

Both had good performances in that match and a win for Osasuna at home is a great thing too. So it seemed very fair because both clubs were fighting tremendously to get the win, but Osasuna benefited more in that match because they were able to take advantage of every opportunity that came up very well.

It was a match with an unexpected result for Sevilla.  As everyone predicted, I was actually expecting Sevilla to win, but I was very surprised with Osasuna's victory.  This match may be one of the most surprising results of the week.  Sevilla should no longer experience such surprise points.  The coach should work better.

After several days of discussions, a personal agreement has been made between Juventus and Memphis Depay. The only obstacle faced was closing the deal with Barcelona.

In order to pay Memphis Depay's salary and complete their new player registration process, Barcelona want to complete the Memphis Depay transaction as soon as possible. They were able to register six players on Friday, but they still need La Liga approval for the transfers of Jules Koundé and Marcos Alonso. Memphis Depay's departure will help them tremendously in getting that approval.

I knew Sevilla will strougle with Osasuna,Sevilla will have problem this season if they do not reinvest in their team now that the transfer window is still open. Too hasty to say this is a ridiculous start for Sevilla. We never know what will happen in the future. Even in other leagues such as the English League, favorite teams like Liverpool have to experience unsatisfactory results after being held to a draw. This is the first match that will be used as an evaluation material for them for the next matches.
