I hope this season is different from the past season when Real Madrid ended the competition with 13 points higher than Barcelona. I think La Liga is slowly missing excitment as all other teams aren't able to compete with these two, they can steal two or three points from Barcelona or Real Madrid making them interchange the first rank but can't keep on the good performance throughout the season.

I would also route for Real Madrid to be title winners but looking that Xavi is off the Champions League and doesn't have pretty chances in the English Premier League, it seems that it is only the Laliga that is his major target.
He could surprise everyone of us in order to prove his abilities.

Lalagi is the most realistic target for Xavi this season after failing in the Champions League. But not only Laliga, Xavi also needs to set high targets in the Europa League and Copa Del Rey where they currently still have a chance to win it. I wouldn't be surprised if Xavi succeeded because I think Xavi and Barcelona really deserve to prove that.

In the past season, with half of a season, Xavi brought Barcelona to a runner-up position so it is acceptable to require him a titale in this season. Even it is a challenging requirement, it should exist to motivate Xavi and Barcelona players.

They still lack of some important factors but they have one advantage against Real Madrid. They are no longer playing in Champions League that gives them more focus on La Liga. Though I agree Real Madrid are stronger and more experienced from players to coach, I think Barcelona have advantage then chance to win La Liga.

I completely agree with your analysis of Barcelona's chances, but I really find it difficult to expect Real Madrid to let him go because of the rivalry of the two teams. Xavi needs to make Laliga their top priority this season although I also hope the Europa League comes second. But I feel the Barcelona players need more experience in dealing with competition because some of them are very young.

I'm sure Xavi will give everything for Barcelona right now, but of course it will never be easy for them to achieve their dreams because every team will be very competitive for points. Next Barcelona will have a trip to Wanda Metropolitano, I believe it will definitely be more difficult.

It's a derby match so that was quite expected even though Barca was disappointing. What Barca lack the most is what Madrid has in abundance and that's how to win games. Madrid doesn't need to play very well to win a match. they just need to bury the chances they get. Barca on the other hand hardly wins matches they don't play well in and they always struggle against a very disciplined defensive team.
Hopefully, Barca can bounce back from that draw and go on to win their games, because they need to if they want to win the league. Madrid has a better chance of winning the league than the champions league so they'll fight to the end for the league title too. It's going to be really interesting to see.

I have said it several times,that Barcelona does not have capacity to win Laliga , Madrid will still win the league this season.

Barcelona are top of the table, they may be equal on points with real madrid, but they are top of the table. Barcelona drew yesterday but it is not too bad like people think it is for them, real madrid may also drop points soon too. Xavi has to look at his team very closely and find out what the little problem is, i think it is a little problem because if it is a big one they wouldn't be top of the league. The January window can help barcelona, they should sell the players that are not too important for them and from the money buy good players that they need, i think there are too many unuseful players in the barca team right now. The race will be tight, but barcelona and real madrid have the same opportunities to win the trophy.

as usual, Barcelona started the game with very unsatisfactory results. also in the second half of this season, Barceloa must be willing to share points with Espanyol with a final score of 1-1. and this match, was accompanied by high game tension and a hot atmosphere. and both teams, collected one red card in this match.

As I highlighted before, I highly doubt Xavi Hernandez's squad. and if, he doesn't dare to take a stand or step for a breakthrough for his squad. the result, will not be satisfactory. and in fact, even though Barcelona controlled the game and had lots of opportunities. but in the end, Barcelona struggled with every chance they had, to convert it into a goal.

But I like the rotation that Xavi does in midfield, but not up front. Even though Raphinha played quite well in this match, it still hasn't answered the needs of the team as a whole. I don't really understand, maybe only Xavi knows.  With this result, making the competition at the top of the standings even more interesting.

Regardless of whether there was a chance or not for Espanyol, they still equalized and forced a draw in this game.
A tough match made this a bit inconvenient for Barcelona, especially with a hard game like this that actually made them unable to take advantage of an attack pattern that was actually very good.
There are so many mistakes caused by the players not being able to control their emotions so they are a little confused with some unnecessary violations.
But the good thing is that the competition between Madrid and Barcelona is getting more interesting now, especially with their current points condition.

Valladolid vs Real Madrid The game between these two teams seemed like Real Madrid could score many goals but Real Madrid won the match with 2 goals. Real Madrid did not score any goals in the beginning of the game but the two goals they scored after halftime.  Valladolid didn't play very well. Valladolid tried hard to score but to no avail. We saw that Valladolid's S. León received a red card after 82 minutes.
