It is going to be Atletico Madrid's first match without Felix in two days against Almeria. Atletico Madrid have Griezmann, Morata and Carrasco left in the attacking line now. Carrasco is injured and out until late January. Because of that there will be no striker substitute for Morata - Griezmann duo. Maybe Lemar could be Simeone's choice beside one of these players in case of changes. He has had some experience with playing as a forward player also. But Atletico Madrid might not continue like this anyway. Maybe they would make a move for a striker in this transfer window for a short time period at least.

I just didn't think that the supercopa title seemed to be of great interest to La Liga teams, because even though big teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona have to try harder to reach the final. At least this is evident from the way they play their main players but still, they are not easy to win in the semifinal match.
I thought they would easily win in normal 90 minutes, but the fact is they played with very high prestige. Until finally the decider of their victory came on penalties, it was a great enthusiasm for those who wanted a title and to play in the supercopa final itself.

I also agree that the Supercopa title is not of much importance to the teams of La Liga. They are more interested in the Champions League and the Europa League and also winning the La Liga title. The only time when the Supercopa is interesting is if there is a match between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are in the final of the Supercopa. The match is going to be played on 16th January. And that is what going to make the Supercopa interesting. But I do not know if both teams are going to be very determined to win that match.

Actually, on the other thought, Barcelona and Real Madrid should be very interested and determined to win this match. At least Barcelona is going to be. Because the next match they will be playing is not a La Liga match. It will be a Copa del Rey match. The next La Liga match is on 22nd January. So if anything Barcelona might not be very determined to win the match on 20 January.

In Italy the teams are of a more defensive philosophical nature, so you see few goals, and I love to see the goals and I love hearing the chants of the stadium (I go when I can)

In the past the Italian league was defensive but in today its so attacking, They average 3 goals per match. The Italian league is also more competitive than the rest in recent years. Lazio, Atalanta, Juventus, Milan, Inter, Roma, Napoli  are all top teams that are always competing for the top 4 and the league. They may not have the popularity of the premier league or the dominance of the Spanish league but right now one of the best leagues to watch is the the Italian seria A.

Villarreal needs every point, because the fight for promotion to the Champions League is very even, so the loss of points with a theoretically weaker opponent will be very painful. The visitors' recent win over Real Madrid will surely give the visitors a boost of confidence. If they play like they did in that match, they can be comfortable with 3 points.

Villarreal have a very good win streak and a very good motivation, if they win they will be in fourth place until Betis and Atletico have played their games, but they deserve to be in the top 4. In the last round they beat Real Madrid, and it was not a random victory, but today against Celta they have a odds 2.8. I think that Villarreal will not lose today, and maybe even win.

Basically Celta Vigo is also not a weak team at all but yes, this season Celta Vigo really seems to have lost its consistency to be in the middle of the standings so this season Celta Vigo looks weaker. Therefore, even though Villarreal is also in their best performance at this moment, I personally don't fully believe Villarreal will win easily.
But yes, at least Villarreal won't lose and the final result could be a draw. So betting for the draw no bet option and/or double chance for Villarreal, might be a safe option to bet on.

Capitalizing on the win at home to Real Madrid, Villarreal will face a team that I think they can beat even though this is their home game. Honestly, I don't see any motivation from them even though in the last match they were able to win over Elche, because Elche itself is not a team that is showing anything positive.

This is an unpredictable match and i really can't make any bet on this kind of matches, Villarreal is a better team than celta figo but celta are playing home and they will do everything to escape from the red zone that's what make this match very hard to predict

Everyone must be surprised, but it is the reality. Sevilla seems to have a big problem, not sure what it is. I guess, it is not only about tactics or player motivation, it may be more complex (more complicated). But in the last match, we see an improvement in Sevilla performance. They can win with 2 goals, which showed that they still have the motivation to stay in La Liga. I still believe that Sevilla won't end up in the relegation zone this season, they will be stronger again next season.

As much as I hate what's happening to Sevilla I also like it because it may be a wake up call. They sold their best CB and did not get a replacement. Its not entirely their fault, the strict rules of La Liga is also a factor. I feel it took them too long to fire Julian Lopetegui . He's a good coach but this season at at Sevilla was awful. If they had sacked him earlier, maybe it wouldn't have been this bad for them.
I don't believe Sevilla will be relegated but they still need to focus on not getting relegated because it would be really ad to see a team like Sevilla leave La Liga.

I viewed the previous game against Athletico Madrid, the young star Pedri played much than one would think he can, so much experience and composure, with time he will be difficult to get him off the pitch all for the service and balance he gives Barcelona at a young and tender age. Last night, I didn't see it, but believe me, Real Madrid are in a good form too, it's Lewandoski back that will give Barcelona hopes of scoring, they badly need replacement for Busquet, times already due for him to leave that midfield for a more energetic kindof player to dominate.

I expect to see Villareal as a favourite for this game, but the home team is a tough notch when playing with the fans support. The home team will not go quietly and will attempt to score. That said, I believe the most probable outcome for this game will be for both teams to score.

I don't get surprised by Anything that happens in football entirely; in the pitch, in the dressing room, off the pitch etc...
Sevilla could end up being relegated and that wouldn't mean that laliga won't continue getting into the hands of the peeps that get 'em on a regular...lol...I just feel they've got a little work to do and that'd prevent them from being drifted away; ofcourse yunno, the more games they'll keep losing, the more points they'll keep losing as well.

Improvement in Sevilla's performance is expected, even that is expected by other teams as well. Sevilla are a big team in La Liga and naturally everyone expects them to be able to compete well in the top flight every season. But this season they have been bad, I wonder about their performance even though in the last few games they have started to improve.

Against Girona is an opportunity, Sevilla must try their best and be motivated to win it. I'm sure they will get back on track, so now is the time. Those three expensive points must be obtained, it will keep them away from the relegation zone. But who knows, defeat always stalks the team that is sinking.

The odds are pretty close to each other for Celta Vigo and Villarreal wins. Bookmakers are expecting a very close match despite the big point gap between the teams in the standings currently. Celta Vigo don't have a very good history against Villarreal in home matches for a long time. But most of the time the results were really close ones. I see only one time Villarreal destroyed them by 4-0 here. This also made me started to think like Villarreal will beat them by a small gap like 1-0 or 2-1.

It is quite difficult for me to give both teams to chance a try. Because Villarreal have a really solid defense and they might not concede a goal as well.

It is very interesting to know the fact that Entering the Super Cup Spain final is a team that always makes football fans hard to miss when these two teams face each other. Barcelona and Real Madrid both advanced to the final via a penalty shoot-out process, they had to fight hard to beat their opponents to reach the top of the party. This match will be played at a high tempo for the sake of prestige, Barcelona rivalry with Real Madrid has been going on for a long time. It's always interesting when the two teams compete, because both want to maintain the pride of the team, especially since the two will compete in the final match.

The importance between them is much bigger than just football for Spain. In other nations it could be about the biggest two teams, or local derby or whatever. But in this case, Real Madrid was the team of the king, which means that the king supported this team more than most other teams, and the "royal" as in real is the appointment of the king himself in that regard.

The game between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao can also be quite interesting. These teams both have made a good start to the season. Real Sociedad are in a better shape though as they are six points ahead in the standings. It is because of last couple of weeks as Real Sociedad are on a winning streak of three games. This streak would be an extra motivation for them here.

However their last two head-to-head games ended up with 1-1 draws. The odds are also indicating that this could be another competitive game. But this time I think Real Sociedad will make it to the win by a slight gap.
