Yesterday ended as I expected in two games. Sevilla put a stop to their bad run and took the first step towards a new start by defeating Getafe at home. They need to get out of the relegation zone as soon as possible. A winning streak should fix this.
Atletico madrid vs Barcelona was a good match. Both teams kept trying and the winner was Barcelona. It must be said that it was a nice and important 3 points away for them in the championship race.

As far as I can remember about Sevilla, they also got out of the relegation zone before, but unfortunately, Sevilla still can't be consistent to keep getting good results from every match. So, I think with the victory that Sevilla got by beating Getafe, I personally am still not so sure that Sevilla can continue to stay away from the relegation zone.
But yes, because for the next match it looks like Sevilla will play against a mediocre team, then maybe that will be a big chance for Sevilla to win with three points.

Because for Sevilla at this moment they only need to win points consistently, because if Sevilla still can't be consistent to continue to earn points, then Sevilla's position will continue to be dangerous because it is close to the relegation zone.
About Barcelona, I personally am not too satisfied with the 1-0 win, because it would be great if the match had a few more goals because the tension in that match was also very high.

Barcelona managed to get an important victory to get away from Real Madrid, one goal scored by Dembele lasted until the end of the game. Atletico tried hard to find a goal in this match, the struggle of Atletico players was in vain due to not being able to penetrate Barcelona defense which was getting stronger. The duet of Christensen and Araujo at the heart of Barcelona defense was very good, they were able to withstand all attacks from Atletico players.

Laliga league is complex with highly competitive clubs in the League, more actions coming in from the teams. I think Atletico Madrid's defense at the moment is not too bad compared to other teams. Although Atletico Madrid is still better than Real Madrid in the number of goals conceded, Atletico Madrid's current problem is that they don't have a striker who is hungry for goals. So far the average goal scored by Atletico Madrid is 1.4 goals per game, and they are no better than Girona or Atletic Bilbao in terms of goals scored. I agree they need a good forward and I think that should be considered while the transfer window is still open.

That is true, there is a low chance that you could end up being wrong at even the most guaranteed games, of course that is low but people only see the losses, normally on a game like Real Madrid vs Villareal, most of those games are won by the favourites, but there are times which you called a lottery, where the bigger team loses as well.

This is was a game like that and it happens time to time there is no shocker there. At the end of the day we should be happy that we get to at least give it a try, because 9 out of 10 times we would win those games and they are better in that case. I believe that we should not be really focusing on a win, but more on the entertainment.

Atlético Madrid is never better than Real Madrid. Atlético, who only won 1 game in their last 5 matches and lost 5 games in 16 matches, is no way better than Madrid even in their worst performance. Atlético are playing at their comfort, their games are majorly defensive unlike Madrid who play attacking games and even their defense sometimes overlap in the midfield just to create chances for the forwards they reason they conceded more goals than Atlético.

Simeone will not only need to sign forward players, but to work on the team pattern of play. This was why they finished at the bottom of the table in the group B of the UCL group stage matches. Atlético aren't showing any tendency of competing for anything this season, not even copa de Rey

But actually that's not a good record for their defense, which usually they got less than 30 conceded goals only for years in every season (except the last season). It must be Simeone's main concern atm and until he finds some defensive players who able to fit his needs, I think Atletico couldnt get their shape back quickly.

Seeing from the highlights, at first Stefan Savic started a small tackle, only they fell and it was like a wrestling match, only the referee without thinking gave his second red card, this looked like he was provoked, but somehow the referee made the right decision.

But in the end Barcelona was able to gain points to get away from Real Madrid, as at the start of the match they started to get fierce so Barcelona were able to defend the first goal from Dembele even though they had lost the player Ferran Torres I think Barcelona can still benefit from this victory.
