what happened in the final minutes of the second half where both teams had to get a red card, really like I said these two teams played quite aggressively accompanied by a fairly hot situation by these two teams. indeed Atletico Madrid tried hard to equalize in the second half but their efforts failed so that the final result was still a victory for Barcelona with a score of 0-1. playing at home and accepting defeat is of course very painful for athletico madrid but indeed the opponents they face are strong teams that are difficult for them to beat. this victory made barcelona safe again as the leader of the standings with a difference of 3 points from rival real madrid.

Although this Atletico is not the Atletico that we were used to in the past, this win is still pretty meaningful for Barcelona taking into account that Real Madrid just eft 3 points on the table. At least this season is going to be an exciting one as it seems unless one of the two favorites suffers from a complete breakdown at some point, but it doesn't look like that.

Barcelona can actually be quite satisfied as they also managed to take that game home without Lewandowksi. I wonder whether there are going to be any consequences for Barcelona because of Lewandowski playing against Espanyol. That would be quite the bummer if they were to lose those three points at the green table retrospectively...

Embarrassing to see Savic and Ferran Torres red carded for fighting, Savic should have been single handedly sent off but he retaliated which lead to him been sent off.  A big thank you to Araujo who help Barcelona seal the game by blocking Greizmanns strike from getting into the net. Also some brilliance from Barcelona number 1.

They now sit at the top of the Spanish La Liga with three points against Real Madrid who lost to Villarreal. I didn't see the first half of the game but the second half Barcelona controlled the game, game deciders like Busquet and Pedri were very ready for the game.

Congratulations to Barcelona again, I honestly think they can achieve the Spanish La Liga honestly.

Winning a crucial match at crucial times like this is a key to win the title! As teal madrid got slipped lost to villareal and then barcelona keeping the 3 points secured and have some gap for real madrid to catch , won't be easy to defend this , the pressure might be continue till the end of the season.

Indeed. It is a hard match, Atletico actually played better but they couldn't score a single goal. I am not surprised if Atletico Madrid sturggle all out in this match, they played in their home and they want 3 points to stay in UCL zone. So, Atletico Madrid has a strong reason to get full points in this match. Unfortunately, Barcelona can play more effectively, they can score 1 goal although they made fewer shot attempts. For Barcelona, this is surely a very crucial win, they are leading again the match with 3 points now. I didn't watch the match between Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid but I saw in that match trailer Ferran Torres and Savic each got a red card, which shows the match was very tight and hot. the Atletico Madrid faction has actually played very hard, even Felix and Griezmann have had several chances, but Barcelona has had a solid defense this time, Barcelona's next match is against Getafe and looking at the history of H2H, then Barcelona's chances are very big to win.

This was far beyond my prediction because basically I still thought Madrid would win this match but this was a big mistake. I lost quite a lot in this match but on the other hand I don't understand why Ancelotti forced a rotation for Tchouameni and Modric whether he was aware of the current conditions or indeed this was for the sake of regeneration I don't know but what is clear is that Modric's role in this match is not very suitable and did he really not think about the condition when his points were almost close to Barcelona.

I did believe Villarreal will beat Real Madrid and even when it was becoming obvious, I could also not believe until it was dawn on me . This defeat of Real Madrid has given Barcelona a brilliant edge to advance more than Real Madrid.

Today we will watch the match between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

Before this game, there is another game currently been played that I wonder why there is no discussion about it. The game between Rayo and Betis. Three goals have been scored in just the first half and although Rayo got an equalizer after the early goal from Betis and played in the first half looking like the team most likely to be ahead during Halftime, Luiz Henrique scored a beautiful goal to give Betis the lead. With the number of goals scored in the first Half, it is difficult to predict how the second half will go and how many goals the game will most likely end with. Betis will remain winners to me at the end, lets watch.

Betis did not score in the second half of the match and Betis won the match 2-1. There is another important game at the moment and there was no goal in the first 30 minutes : Sevilla vs Getafe. I think Sevilla's squad is of good quality and does not deserve a low ranking. It seems to me that they are planning to win against Getafe and make a significant rise and I hope they succeed in that. Considering their past successes, a very important team is Sevilla in Spain.

Rayo Vallecano 1-2 Real Betis

There was actually no doubt that it was unfortunate, as well as the poor defending from Rayo Vallecano in the first half. In my opinion, if they had been able to defend the way they did in the second half, they would probably have been able to get one point from this match. But the first half of the game was a disaster from their point of view as far as defense is concerned. Real Betis, on the other hand, performed well during the match. It was a well-coordinated attack on their part.
