I know the first half didn't go in favor of Barcelona or Real Sociedad, but Barcelona really excelled with lots of chances and possession. In total there have been 11 shots so far that Barcelona have taken throughout the first half, but no goals have been scored by any of its players.

I knew the game was not going to be an easy game, but Barcelona has really played some good football, created some chances but too sad they didn't get a win in the first half, with real Sociedad being one man down means Barcelona now has a bigger chance of coming out victorious. Real Sociedad are a very good side to play against, but Barcelona will capitalize on the advantage and start putting more pressure on them, Barcelona is already one goal up and I see them scoring more goals before the end of the game.

Brais Mendez's red card can be the difference in this match. If Sociedad were to play with 11 players I can still be sure they will maximize the draw but when they are now in a desperate condition and have lost 1 player it is clear that it becomes difficult and hopeless I feel.
The current score is 1-0 in favor of Barcelona even though this is enough to bring them to the semi-finals but I'm not sure they will be satisfied with just 1 goal.

Indeed, there is a possibility that with 11 players Real Sociedad will be able to make this match a draw, because their defense is very solid. Even with 10 players this team is hard to beat, Barcelona can only score one goal and yeah I agree Barcelona probably won't be satisfied with this result, there are many missed good opportunities.

It was absolutely a well-deserved win for Barcelona in the Super Cup. Real Madrid were horrible in the first half. They tried to do something in the second half but they still couldn't prevent a 3-1 loss. It must be feeling nice for Barcelona to win a title in this season. Maybe it wouldn't be the same as the La Liga title but still it is a good achievement.

Now their target is going to be to win the La Liga title. Real Madrid will be a bigger threat there of course. I wonder if Barcelona will maintain this performance against Real Madrid again in the other El Clasico in the league later on.

Finally, Barcelona made its best contribution by winning in this very prestigious league. With the victory that Barcelona won, it is hoped that Barcelona's condition will improve and more investors will come in to provide support for Barcelona in the following La Liga season.

Copa del Rey will resume and we have 2 interesting games between Barcelona - Sociedad and Real Madrid - ATM. Obviously everything could happen there but Barcelona and Real Madrid are favourites in my opinion.
For the other 2 games, we have Valencia - Bilbao that might be hard to predict since both teams are fluctuating a bit in La Liga.

Real madrid must be careful with griezmann. griezmann was a threat for real madrid. about Valencia against bilbao and i think that valencia is a bit superior compared with bilbao. Barça kept the pressure on and a goal-less first half. Real sociedad tried holding them back in the second half but all to no avail. Barcelona had a narrow escape from real sociedad in Copa del Rey game last night. A point for the bluagrana to prove, all credits goes to Ousmane Dembele who gave his team hope with a superb goal that sealed their winning in the game.

On the other hand next match will be so interesting because it's Madrid derby between Real Madrid vs Atletico apparently both of teams are in the good shape after beat their opponents at Laliga but i feel like Madrid will going to win this match because from the last 10 meetings in all competitions Madrid only lose once from Atletico and the odds for Madrid also looks very tempting @1.92
