Atletico Madrid didn't have a very surprising day. We have all known them about how bad they perform for so many weeks. This didn't change against Almeria as well today. I didn't understand Reguilon too. He just entered the game in the 67th minute and got two yellows in a short time after. I'm sure he will be warned after making a very simple mistake like this.

But without the red card Atletico Madrid wouldn't still win this game. They were still dealing with the same issues. They need to be better at finishing up the attacks with goals. Scoring only one goal in such games isn't acceptable considering their potential.

It was not possible to watch this match, but I will say that the result surprised me. I see from the statistics that these were two different halves, in the first half Real  shot the goal of Barcelona only once, it's hard to believe that this is possible. Regardless of how most people have underestimated Barcelona so far, the best proof of this is beating Real Madrid in the Super Copa final. Xavi's first title win with Barcelona deserves appreciation, they have all worked hard and managed to beat the best team at the moment. This win is really great because they excelled in every way during the match, and I'm really happy with this achievement.

Barcelona deserves to celebrate even if it's not a bigger competition than La Liga or any other. Yet any accomplishment is sure to be great even if one or two of us just take it for granted. One thing is true, congrats to Barcelona.

They fully deserved it as they were in a much better day than Real Madrid was.They crushed Real Madrid early in the first half and that gave them the needed boost in confidence to continue playing that good and going up to 0-3 at a certain point while Real Madrid only managed to score in the 90th minute of the game.

I think this also shows that is going to be very difficult for Real Madrid this year in the title fight against Barcelona,Barcelona is clearly in a much better shape and consistency in their games.This makes more value when we think that when Barcelona started this La Liga they did not start in the right way.

Yea, the final result of Atletico Madrid and Almeria was also quite surprising, moreover, Atletico Madrid also got a red card in the match. That is of course very annoying, is not it? Wow!! They tried by scoring 1 goal. I was thinking that they would not scored any goal again because Barcelona was oppressing them with a full force. We that God that they didn't lose with the 0-3, it was a very big shame and embarrassment.

I totally agree, this trophy proves that Barcelona made the right choice of coach. Despite the fact that the formation was not fast - it gave its result and now the team even in its championship shows good results, and the cup is the proof. the most difficult thing is to win La Liga. I would also like to mention the game of a young player, who gave two assists and scored a goal, a talent!

Barca showed their claim in the league by taking this trophy. Real Madrid should be afraid. Xavi has won his first trophy, there's no doubt there will be more to come. Gavi - Pedri midfield is very productive. Lewandowski is just the striker they need. Whenever a goal is needed, he takes the stage.
Frankly, I didn't expect Real Madrid to be so ineffective. Camavinga was bad, midfield wasn't enough. I think it's time for the old players to change. They can't keep up with young rivals.

Xavi has had his first trophy for the season regardless of how small it is. It is a nice start the next target is copa del Rey, then Laliga and finally Europa league. The stage for lifting more trophies is already set its just for Xavi to use the right strategy and collect all the trophies he can this season.

Today's game was important to showBarcelona's position in the championship. The next match between the two in the Primera Division is on 19.03.23: Matchday 26 in the league. Until then there are still 8 matchdays and 24 possible points and currently Barcelona is only 3 points ahead. But if you look at the statistics, Barcelona has the best defence in the league, in 17 games they have allowed only 6 goals and lost only 1 game and that was on matchday 9 in October 2022 against Real Madrid 1:3.

Barcelona was so much better today and Xavi started to take control of the team and built good strategy so far, finally we got to see the old days of Barcelona coming back and with new names and new young talented players such as Gavi and Pedri. We saw a strong defense from Barcelona side that made Real Madrid unable to score or put much danger on Marc-André ter Stegen except for few chances and the last minute goal of Karim Benzema.

actually it's not too surprising in my opinion because seeing their performance it's still not going well but what I regret is their victory in the previous match which actually could have been used as momentum to be wasted by their defeat in this match.

They should really do a review, because it is very obvious at this point. I never expected Real Madrid to be the team to be struggling at this point in the season, even entering into this game, some part of me still believed in the Real Madrid spirit to rise up to challenges like they showed in the champions league last season. Real Madrid did not impress, the finals should have been more suspenseful that it was. From after Barcelona's two goals, the game looked very much over for them, and the third goal entered.

This season both of them have perform quite well, it will difficult to predict the winner of today's match. So which team have more potential to win today in your opinion?

Barcelona are already two goals ahead and it is what is expected knowing that Barcelona had more shots at goal than Real Madrid did and controlled the midfield excellently. Real Madrid will try to create more opportunities in the second Half and knowing how much of a quality side that they are, Barcelona will know that the possibility of them still getting back to the game and even winning it is still there. If Barcelona play the way they played in the first Half, they will score more to ensure the win.

Madrid's mistake with 2 goals in the first half they couldn't avenge even though in this match they were able to score a goal from Benzema but it was too late.
Their match was actually quite even I think but when you look at the momentum Barcelona can do very well whereas Madrid obviously only has Benzema which makes it difficult.

Real Madrid lost its rythme of winning from a while.. Rayo before the World Cup, then Villarreal recently, these defeats made Barcelona get a gap again in the first place and now Real Madrid lost against Barcelona 1-3 in the Supercopa..
