Already From the beginning of the season I strongly have this believe that Barcelona will likely be this season's La Liga Champions despite that Real Madrid was at some point toping the league. This results has clearly shown that Xavi made a good signing during the transfer market. Having Barcelona got this 8 points clear ahead their major contender Real Madrid, is something that Real Madrid will definitely find very difficult to close the gap at this point in time in the league.

It is difficult to close the gap of 8 points. But it is not impossible. Still each team will play 16 matches. And Barcelona are also likely to lose points. Barcelona have to play very carefully in every match. If Barcelona lose the truck at this moment then winning the title will not be possible for Barcelona.
The performance of Barcelona players against Cadiz was very good. Especially in this match Lewandowski's performance was quite good also Sergi Roberto scored a goal and an assist. Also, Barcelona's defense was very effective in this match.

Barcelona are still consistently performing this season, only in European competition they have had bad results but in the league Barca only lost once to Real but after that they always won a point, either one point or a full point, that's why they can have an 8 point advantage, if they stay consistent then Barca will win this season and next week they will only face Almeira, the bottom team with more defeats than draws or wins which may be degraded, so Barca will again add points.

Barcelona continued to perform well. They won the last match. And now the Barcelona team is 8 points ahead of Madrid. Despite being able to maintain their dominance in La Liga, Barcelona's performance in Europa League is not as good as expected. They could not win against Manchester United in the last match. They drew the match. And so now Barcelona will aim to win the second leg against Manchester United. If Barcelona loses their next match against United. I thought Valencia would succeed in stealing points at Getafe in the La Liga match last night against host Getafe, but it seemed that the match was quite balanced in ball possession but Getafe's shots on target were superior which resulted in 1 goal nesting against Valencia. Getafe played pretty hard by getting a total of 6 yellow cards, it looks like they really want to win this match so they can get away from the relegation zone. Getafe climbed to 16th place in the standings, while Valencia had to be willing to stay in 19th place in the relegation zone standings.

There is this desire and dedication that is used to fight when you want to escape the relegation zone.
I least expected that Gatefe to beat Valencia but gone are the days that Spanish teams used to be consistent in their performance.  I remember the good days that Valencia used to do well but these days any other team can beat every other team apart from Real Madrid, Barcelona and maybe Atletico Madrid which is performing below expectation to me. Every every other club can beat any other club in Spanish La Liga, that is the difference between them and the English football

La Liga has been very competitive this season. Barcelona and Real Madrid are fighting for the title. And which team will win the title is still completely uncertain. Several teams are fighting to qualify for the Champions League. Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, and Rayo Vallecano are all aiming to finish in the top four of the table. and qualifying for the Champions League.

I only high competition for top four but not for the championship. Barcelona are far from Real Madrid with 8 points and it makes the championship competition is less exciting. However Real Madrid have yet given it up and Barcelona have yet won it. Their race is continuing and the league is more exciting with another race for last two positions in top four. It's so surprising to see clubs like Sociedad, Betis and Vallecano can compete for those high rankings.

Barcelona continued to perform well. They won the last match. And now the Barcelona team is 8 points ahead of Madrid.

8 points are so good and safe enough for Barcelona to think more about their big match with Manchester United in Old Trafford. They must win at Old Trafford at least with two goal difference to beat Manchester United in aggregated result. With good gap in La Liga, Barcelona want to win Europa League too and they will not play humbly in Old Trafford.

Despite being able to maintain their dominance in La Liga, Barcelona's performance in Europa League is not as good as expected. They could not win against Manchester United in the last match. They drew the match. And so now Barcelona will aim to win the second leg against Manchester United. If Barcelona loses their next match against United. Then they will focus entirely on winning the La Liga title. And they will win the La Liga title either way.

Barcelona feel like they are safe enough to win La Liga so that they will not want to be knocked out by Manchester United too easily. Not sure will they can win Europa League after beating Manchester United but I believe they ambitiously aim at the trophy there.

another loss for Valencia today and they really couldn't afford it, they are in a very dangerous position right now, that's not something we are used to see, Getafe are also in danger too, but they avoided it a bit by beating Valencia, i really wonder what the team can do now to save this season, the problem is that i think they have a decent squad to at least not be in the relegation zone, it's better than most of the teams at he bottom, but this is football i guess.

This is the consequence of selling and not replacing big players and financial crisis. Mayoral's 82nd-minute goal was all Gatefe needed to move out of the relegation zone. Valencia had more ball possession but it didn't translate to greater goal-scoring chances and goal attempts. Gatefe was better in the attacks and defended better. They deserve the win and should do more to avoid relegation. It is too early to conclude that Valencia would be relegated because if they improve, there are still opportunities to move out of the relegation zone.

You are right that Valencia has got a financial problem. They started this season with a debt of 54M and a deadline to pay in June the 30th (2023) and 16,5M more with a deadline in September last year. So it is logical that they have only spent 13,2M in new players in the last two years and this has clear consequences in their performance.

Although Valencia is not one of my favourite teams (to be honest, it is the contrary) I wouldn't like to see them in 2ª División. Fans don't deserve this fate.

When talking about matches in La Liga, of course there are always surprises and it's not often that big teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona also have to experience defeat by small teams. But that's football, sometimes expectations don't match reality.

The most important thing for Barcelona this year seems to be the La Liga championship.  I see a team that gives more importance to La Liga matches and does not show the same performance in Europe.  Of course, I don't know what will happen in the Manchester United match.  If they pass qualifying against Manchester United, we can talk about the possibility of winning the European Cup.  I think Barcelona are more concentrated on the League right now.

Getafe played very well. And this team is desperate to stay away from the relegation zone. They are trying their best to stay away from the relegation zone. They managed to earn points in the last three matches. And after getting 5 points in these three matches they have now managed to climb to 16th position in the points table. Getafe played well throughout the match against Valencia. They attacked from the beginning of the match. and attempted to score. However, no team could score in the first half. In terms of pre-match conditions, Getafe is still superior with its 2 draws, even though I really felt this was going to be a draw at first, but I was also wrong in this matter.
Getafe's performance was quite good in this match and indeed seeing from the opportunities and ball possession everything led to Getafe's victory.
The last 5 matches that have been run 5 times have also lost for Valencia and this has clearly made them worse and thrown into the relegation zone.

So far, all is not lost for Valencia. The next three teams don't have many more points than them. If they stop losing and losing points, they can climb out of the relegation zone. Although I agree that their situation is really bad and they could be relegated to the Segunda. Probably a good time at the end of the season to prove they are worthy of La Liga.

Even though Getafe was able to win in today's game, the number of points that the Getafe team has earned still doesn't put it in a safe position for now.
