Without Pedri and Gavi and also Dembele they are lacking speed and technique. I don't want to compare these guys with Ribery and Robben yet, but Bayern had immense trouble when Ribery and Robben missed a game. You could instantly realize that Bayern was so much weaker because the opponent could easily anticipate their moves. Having your strongest wing players available is paramount especially in the toughest games.

Both teams have players who are able to create chances through their individual actions, but I also admit that both of them have weaknesses. Real Madrid tends to be expected to be stronger because we don't have many problems with the players, whereas Barcelona certainly has problems with the composition of the players due to several injuries.

Raphinha, Ansu Fati and Gavi might have created chances and goals during the game, but I have to stress that Barcelona will also take advantage of set pieces for goal chances. I never underestimate Barcelona even though I am 100% for Real Madrid but when it comes to winning at home we are the favourites. Do not hesitate.

Usually, if real Madrid is superior by the odds, Barcelona will win the match and even play at Madrid home. but, I am not sure about the leg 1 semifinal, draw maybe happen because madrid's performance is still consolidated between them.

There is something strange about the Barcelona odds in my opinion because this is indeed too big for a club of their class.
There may indeed be some circumstances now as they are away at the Bernabeu and they have lost some of their players but the odds of 3.75 for a club of their class are definitely very attractive.
Even so, the ratio is clearly a little difficult with the condition of losing several key players such as Pedri, Dembele or Lewandowski, but I didn't expect the odds to be that big considering Barcelona's condition which is still very good.

In my opinion, on the contrary, Real Madrid's odds seem incredibly strange and generous - almost x2 in a home game against a weakened opponent against which there is always a high motivation.
The only factors I can think of against Real Madrid are that they will save energy before the big game against Real Betis, or that Ancelotti will not show all the cards before the league game where the La Liga title will be decided.

Taking into account that this is just the first round of the semi-finals, I think that we can expect a draw, not like you, as both teams can feel that there is still another chance for the comeback in the second round. Although Barcelona may be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity because they are visitors.

I don't mean that both teams won't give their best: this is a Clásico and there is much at stake, but because it is not the finals, a draw is still possible, if not highly probable.

With the injuries list and current performance I have feeling Real Madrid will try to have better result and take good advantage for the second leg which is going to play at the NOU Camp Barcelona and this could be surely not good for the Real Madrid because away games never been easy specially while you are having El Classic derby which is most highlighted game in the soccer world for me Carlos Ancelotti will try his best for good difference which helps them for having better chance for the final and less pressure second leg game.

Maybe it is too late but it is still good to see Atletico Madrid making some improvement in their form in the league. They aren't in the title race but this form can at least keep them in top 4. But Betis are going to be a pretty big threat to them in this race for the Champions League. The point difference is two points now as Betis have gained with them. Next time Atletico Madrid are going to be hosting Sevilla. Sevilla are still a team having serious problems in defense. Their defensive effort against Osasuna was a proof for it. Atletico Madrid should be able to win this.

With a very good trend for Atletico at this moment, playing against Sevilla in the next match, of course, I'm sure that Atletico will still be able to win in that match. Because after all, even though Sevilla at this moment have come out of the relegation zone, but in reality Sevilla is still not consistent enough to win every match.

Also, Sevilla's position is still not safe because it is still very vulnerable to falling into the relegation zone because the point gap is still close. With performance that is still not improving, then of course these factors will make it difficult for Sevilla to be able to withstand Atletico who are in good shape at this moment.

I didn't see any problems at defense for Barcelona in the first El Clasico for the CDR as it seemed that all the defenders were quite ready for the match. But without Pedri, Barcelona's midfield looked down because the kid really did well there. While Barcelona have problems in attack with Dembele and Lewandowski still out injured, it will only mean their attack is not strong enough to rely on against Real Madrid.

Xavi may be expected to be a genius enough to get the good form out of his players. Sergio, De Jong and Kessie/ Roberto will fill in as midfielders, while Gavi, Fati and Raphinha will complete as forward. Barcelona is weak, of course not but they just lack the stock of players who are expected to contribute a lot to the match to win.
