Ancellotti has confirmed if benzema will not play against espanyol. We do know that it's very bad choice for ancellotti but since the gap with barcelona is very big and i think that ancellotti was putting all if his focus into the UCL rather than la liga.
I think that if real madrid really need a good striker like benzema. That's why pushing the club to buy osimhen from napoli will become a very good decision. Rodrygo is not capable to replace benzema.

I think that is not that much of a bad idea, forget about La Liga because they are going to be second anyway and it would be pretty difficult for them to win it, definitely not worth the extra effort that would take away from UCL. On the other hand, they could do it this game because they already beat Liverpool good enough that they could end up with a Benzema-less team on UCL and still get a win, even if they lose I doubt that it would be with 3 goal difference which means that we are talking about a situation that could be a lot harder.

They found space and the chance was really good as Vinicius received a pass from Kross who then dribbled past several defenders before finally, gooll. Of course it was a good goal from Vinicius, although I didn't really like his performance in some match.

After Joselu's surprise goal early in the first half they started to bounce back and this was the kind of performance expected from Madrid. When Espanyol scored 1 goal earlier than Real Madrid, I was still calm because I am sure that the position will be exchanged soon. and finally Real Madrid was able to turn things around and lead with goals from Vini JR, Militao, and finally in extra time too, Asensio was able to complete 1 more goal. But it must be admitted that even though Espanyol lost and had less ball possession, they were still able to put some pressure on Real Madrid's defense and this was a bit of a pain. The first fifteen minutes were like torture for Real Madrid. Espanyol started the match really solidly and got ahead first as well.
