I completely agree with the first part of your post about the sacrifice that strikers like Firmino are willing to make for the sake of the team. In my opinion he is a superb addition for any squad because he is ready at any time, no matter whether he is a starter or whether he is coming from the bench. Those strikers are amazing and by the way his scorer stats for Liverpool are pretty good given that he did not always start the games. When you break it down into minutes per goals, he has been one of the best if I recall correctly. Signing him as a free agent in the situation Real Madrid is in right now would be perfect for both. He is a luxury backup and if it turns out that Real Madrid can't find the replacement they want they can still have him as a starter.
